Obviously when it comes to attracting women, having a great body is more important. But when it comes to building power, a 6 pack is useless compared to a 6 figure salary. Thoughts?

Because lifting builds confidence and confidence is required to build finances.
lotrlotr14 5y ago
Spot on
Thunderfin 5y ago
Lol
Thisismybot8 5y ago
That's nice but there's plenty of other reasons to be confident besides having a nice body. My confidence has always been internal, given it's probably because of other things I'm good at.
To an extent. Not every well paying job is in sales. Plus you gain confidence by being knowledgeable in your field of work, not because you can bench your own body weight.
ComfortableSample 5y ago
Not everyone is you, some people can’t control their finances or have little control. Some people don’t have jobs. It’s a lot harder to start making a lot of money than it is to lift.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Trust me, I know. I was unemployed for awhile after graduating.
ComfortableSample 5y ago
This isn’t about you
Cazken 5y ago
It ain’t even having a nice body, it’s testosterone and endorphins
Thisismybot8 5y ago
That's a different argument that I can appreciate.
forsaken_in_the_dark 5y ago
You can also grow bad ass beard and your attitude will change. When you are negotiating something it will be easier for you to get better terms than if you were a beta shy boi.
Cazken 5y ago
Yeah. Confidence is straight up testosterone (and low coristol) equivalent for most people. How motivated, happy, energetic and confident you feel has everything to do with your physical health. So eat well, sleep well, lift well, and I guarantee you’ll have much more success in basically anything you do.
trp369 5y ago
I really like your take on confidence, talking about hormones specifically testosterone because at the end of the day, what else could make you feel better?
Lifting, money bitches whatever, literally all it does it increase testosterone and that’s why you feel healthier
Could you give any more insights into this topic? You seem to know what you’re talking about
Cazken 5y ago
Thank you. Testosterone is responsible for literally everything about how you feel. Trust me. Lift for a couple of days and you’ll notice you’re much more confident, you project your voice much more, and you’re overall just a lot more comfortable. You know how sometimes you have those realllyyy good days when you feel amazing, very witty, sharp, energetic, refreshed, easily make everyone laugh and chicks swoon over you? That’s how you feel when in your prime health. That’s how you’re supposed to be. Your natural, charming and aggressive self is dimmed by less than optimal health (99% of cases). Agricultural revolution was a bum deal but we can still be our best selves. When people tell you they feel on top of the world, it’s often true. They do feel fucking amazing, and I can attest to that.
trp369 5y ago
Wow you sound exactly like me. I had a period last year where I was so interested in testosterone, I spent literally all of my free time research about it, reading literature etc.
It’s no surprise that the few months or so I was doing all this and trying to natural increase my testosterone was some of the best months of my life. I got more girls in a few months than I did for most of my life leading up to that, walked and talked like I was the boss of the building
Recently I’ve completely forgotten about testosterone till your earlier comment and I’m actually so damn happy I read it. I’m going completely back how I used to, 100% of my time spent on increasing testosterone by fixing diet up, training and extra things like meditating, winning in sports competitions etc
Cazken 5y ago
Good for you. Don’t forget vitamin D supps (crucial for testosterone) and a very good sleep sleep schedule, which also helps. That includes no phone for at least 30 minutes before going to sleep, no interruptions during sleep, and consistency, meaning go to sleep wake up at the same time every day. 6-8 hours. Personally if you have time I suggest getting up at 5, coffee (personally I take pills), go for a run or do some exercises, and take a cool shower along with other morning stuff. It’s a very good routine and sets you up well for the rest of the day by releasing amazing hormones.
trp369 5y ago
You have actually really motivated me with your comments brother I thought you should know that. Thinking about increasing testosterone was so motivating I can’t believe I stopped it! I’m literally starting right now, it feels so easy to improve your life if all you think about is to do things that increase testosterone
Sleep better and more consistently at the same time.
Don’t use my phone at bedtime and instead read a few pages of TRP style books.
Wake up and go for a walk/jog immediately.
Stay out in the sun if it’s actually sun and take a vitamin D pill as well as multivitamin and zinc supplements.
Start a combat sport again like BJJ and practice hard, start winning competitions.
Clean diet with low sugar, high fat and sufficient protein everyday.
Reduce cortisol/stress - start meditating throughout the day, take time to relax
Sleep with multiple women (plates) and make a big effort to day/night game. Theres an interesting research paper on the fact that just talking to a woman you feel is attractive for a few minutes significantly raises your testosterone
That’s my list so far. Can you think of anything else I could keep my mind on to increase testosterone?
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Don't get me wrong, I'm replying to you guys from the gym right now. But my argument is that it's not a prerequisite for success. There's plenty of people that aren't fit that are killing it in their careers.
Cazken 5y ago
I doubt they are feeling truly happy. Imo, “happy” is subjective for everyone as to how they get to that point, but objectively, it’s a combination of hormones, and testosterone and endorphins are a huuuuge part of the equation. If you don’t lift you’re missing out on good mental health, point blank.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Fair enough. But if you're fit and a broke loser you're also missing out on plenty.
Cazken 5y ago
That’s true as well, but if you’re very healthy it’s doubtful you’ll be broke for a long period. Unless you’re a retard of course. Career finds a way.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Nah. If you're not focused enough, smart enough, and hungry enough, you'll stay a broke loser.
Blackhawk2479 5y ago
Who said anything about being in sales? You’re thinking like a salary robot.
The two best ways to make money are to own your own company and to invest - both of which take a lot of confidence and lack of risk-aversion.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Salary robot, that's a new one. I'm saying confidence isn't critical in making money.
Both of those need lots of capital, something that most guys starting from the bottom don't have.
Sure, but that's after you get capital.
Blackhawk2479 5y ago
Stop hamstering.
You don’t need “lots of capital” to invest, you just need to be prepared to lose what little capital you do have. Huge difference and this is exactly my point about confidence.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Wat.
This has got to be the most retarded thing I've read in a week. Congrats. Tell me how you're going to get rich by risking 500 dollars. You need to have a substantial amount of money to actually make money. This isn't rocket science.
I'm glad you're confident enough to risk your 5 dollar allowance your parents give you on Robinhood. Now go get a real job.
Blackhawk2479 5y ago
500 dollars?
The difference between you and I is that I don’t consider a few thousand dollars to be “significant capital”, whereas you apparently do. It’s all relative though and just an indicator of where you and I are at in our respective lives and careers. E.g. I’m not a 12-year-old with autism.
Don’t bother responding because I’m not going to bother reading whatever drivel your keyboard-warrior hands feel compelled to type back.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
I think you have a reading comprehension problem. Work on it.
SeasonedRP 5y ago
Lifting is an easy to take first step and concrete, measurable results can occur fairly quickly. Most of the people starting out need to learn to set and achieve goals, and lifting is an area where that can be done. The process of setting and achieving goals carries over to many other endeavours, including finances. In most cases, becoming financially successful takes significant time, and if that was the emphasis of RP, a lot of people would quit.
I agree with you that becoming successful financially should be a key goal one should have and diligently work toward. If you haven't attained a certain measure of success, various social groups (and thus women) won't be open to you no matter how great you look. And being independent instills a great degree of confidence and life satisfaction that someone in great shape but who is poor won't ever have.
It's also difficult to make generalized recommendations about finances. How to be successful varies greatly from individual to individual. One person might be great at sales, another talented at developing software, and a third skilled at outperforming the S&P 500 in managing money. Finding the right path is up to the individual.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
All valid points.
SrslyNoMayo 5y ago
Because if the first rule was to get more money, 99% of the people here would be fucked and RP couldnt exist
El_Serpiente_Roja 5y ago
Lifting helps the AF side of AFBB..you dont need financial stability to get chicks
FlyingSexistPig 5y ago
You can't negotiate attraction. A guy whose fit attracts girls.
A guy who's rich might attracts girls, but it's not a guarantee.
Thotasaurus_Rex 5y ago
A good body will accelerate your career. People hire attractive people.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Priorities. A good degree is way more important.
ngyuhnang 5y ago
Because lifting is something concrete that you can do immediately and if you put effort, you will be able enjoy the result soon.
Telling people to get their life together to make them financially stable is vague, if you tell everyone that people would be like “how, dude?” It’s an idea and result.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
I'm not trying to be vague. We have to start with the big picture, ie attracting women vs building power. Once we accept that we need both, then we can delve into how to build power.
ngyuhnang 5y ago
TRP tells us that women are not worth our commitment, we should seduce them and plate them for casual sex. That’s why we tell people to lift to build more attraction for better seduction.
Building power and making money is our life goal, but it’s not something that important to pick up girls and bang them on the first date.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Fair enough. I'm speaking from a point of privilege and it shows. When I was still starting out, getting women was critical. I think once you have that basic need satisfied, you can start thinking about other things.
Startlivingfornow 5y ago
When studies were done on attraction, they found females between 20-30 were primarily attracted to looks. Wealth and game became more important when women neared the wall or were already past it.
YourZenemy 5y ago
A 6-pack gives you inner power that shines outward. A 6-figure income gives you outward power that compliments the inward.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
I like that. I guess I've always had that inner confidence, it's always been instilled in me. It's the outward success and status that I never had growing up.
We were always immigrants that had just about enough to keep things going. I've lived in a third world country two separate times in my life and I've always wanted what successful people had. I always knew they weren't smarter than me, or harder working, they were just older and with wealthier backgrounds.
Now I'm starting to rise up in status too. I always knew it was inevitable and I'm more hungry than ever to surpass the competition.
OrzhovPalatine 5y ago
You can do lifting right away, finances take more time so it's not stressed early
teveza11 5y ago
Because its better when a woman likes you for YOU instead of how much money you have.
TehJimmyy 5y ago
Because this is not finance dumbass
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Stick to the incel subs
TehJimmyy 5y ago
Dont give a fuck about a guy going through my post history to offend me.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Good on ya. Now think about why finances are important for men.
RPAlternate42 5y ago
Because you can take a hour from your day and lift.
Stop looking for excuses.
Thunderfin 5y ago
? it doesn't? In what universe would that even make sense?
wobbleelbbow 5y ago
Body is what everyone notices first. Money is just complementary
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Sure, now do you care more about what people think or what you're actually worth?
wobbleelbbow 5y ago
Body is part of your selfworth too so, dumb question.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
The reason you do things is just as important as what you do. I'll let you reflect on these last two replies from me.
RedKnightTime 5y ago
It’s the most efficient order.
forsaken_in_the_dark 5y ago
I have a feeling that going to the gym is not wise if you are not strong enough to use up all opportunities at home. For example if you cannot do one push up, what's the point going to the gym?
If you can't lift your shopping bag, why would you block space in the gym? Buy some weights and lift at home until you can't feel anything when lifting home stuff.
Money saved this way put into an index fund.
edit: grammar
AndemanMan 5y ago
mens sana in corpore sano. Lifting improves the man both inside and out. You ARE your body.
Auvergnat 5y ago
Yeah curious, it’s almost as if TRP was about sexual strategy, not financial strategy..
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Why not both?
virtualreality25 5y ago
Exactly! I rather have men who got their shit together. I mean there's nothing wrong about being healthy and looking good, but I think what they are trying to say is build your confidence first, because in reality, no one will ask how much do you have on your savings account on first date
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Right. But that goes back to attracting women vs building power. I think trp should be more balanced between the two.
virtualreality25 5y ago
Yes you're def right. Well I guess most people are having problem with attracting people.
flatox 5y ago
Such smart, very red, wow.
Getting fit improves your self image, worth, respect, appreciation and how others percieve you and increase self decipline and willpower.
It is a fundament for making everything else easier. Everything.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Welcome to 2019, a lot has happened since the memes of 2012.
Of course it does but so does achieving a successful career.
Same can be said about making money and being successful, probably more so.
sexykavu 5y ago
well there's no reason you cant do both. And getting your finances in check doesn't require a six figure salary.
WIA20XX 5y ago
True Red Pill philosophy recognizes that humans are essentially animals. Social animals yes, but animals first and foremost.
With that in mind, biological fitness cues like facial symmetry, height, strength, posture, along with a devil may care attitude affects a girl at the primal level.
Money (and status) are useful in the social part of the social animal aspect, but only to a certain extent. Wives and girlfriends cheat on their socially powerful and rich partners with less than savory types that appeal to their animalistic desires.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Good point but women cheat regardless.
WIA20XX 5y ago
Women "cheat" for all sorts of reasons. Women have sex with all sorts of guys for all sorts of reasons.
But the red pill focuses on building up both animal and social cues as a means of getting back to a woman's "hindbrain".
From a Game perspective, we believe that the real sexual organ is in her head - literally the thoughts and feelings that kick in different parts of the brain chemistry. There is a major difference between a girl being attracted and her being so aroused that she'll fuck a cactus.
What is she really looking for when she fucks the bodybuilder or the rich guy or the bartender?
If a man can create that same emotional reality, he can hook up with a chick.
FREECRACK6 5y ago
So u don't end up a beta bucks
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Because every millionaire is a beta. /s
I think we agree though, you need to balance both.
VasiliyZaitzev 5y ago
There's nothing to say you can't do both simultaneously, but getting fit is generally more straightforward.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
I think you meant can. But yeah getting fit is easier and quicker.
VasiliyZaitzev 5y ago
Double negative "nothing says you cannot" = you can.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Gotcha, skimmed too fast
Terdmuffin 5y ago
Read your first sentence. That's why. TRP is about creating sexual options and being physically attractive does that.
I agree there should be more discussion about it, but like you said when it comes to attracting women a great body is more important so it's going to get mentioned more.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Fair enough. Having said that, I think the red pill needs to start leaning more towards gaining power than attracting women. Women come and go but financial stability keeps the lights on and let's you live the life you want.
Terdmuffin 5y ago
So there's kind of 2 sides to the coin. The type of man you want to be and the type of man women want are probably about the same thing. So improvements to yourself overall are going to help you be more attractive overall. That being said lifting is the best "bang for the buck" improvement. It's the one thing everyone can do to quickly become more attractive. Considering so many of the members here (especially on ask trp) are doing very, very poorly with women lifting is the most actionable advice. It's the ground floor.
There's also varying levels of members here. A guy looking to figure out how to lose his virginity Probably isn't going to have much use for someone talking about different types of long vs short term investments or the benefits of real estate investment or how to build and grow a business. Even when guys asks about diet or routines here they're often told to go to specific lifting or nutrition subreddits.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Yeah I honestly think you hit the nail on the head my friend. Most guys here are young and lifting is the quickest way to see any kind of success.
ChyTRP 5y ago
I'm inclined to agree a bit, a wise man once said 'Everything in life is about sex, except sex, sex is about power'.

That being said, power doesnt have to be financial, it can be social status. Nightclub bouncers in my country get paid fuck all and are literally swimming in options because of the social proof it gives them.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Right but there's something maybe 99% of guys don't understand. Once you're fucking at the quality and quantity that you'd like, you start looking at other things in life. You realize what's more important than pussy.
ChyTRP 5y ago
For me thats getting a log cabin in the woods and getting the fuck away from society lol
DwightWolftail 5y ago
Because TRP is a sub focused on sexual strategy. NOT power, NOT self improvement. It is a collection of tools for men who want to get laid.
Thisismybot8 5y ago
Except there's plenty of posts on building power.
DwightWolftail 5y ago
There are indeed such posts. But it is consodered meta and mostly supplementary. I would prefer another linked sub for this, instead changing TRP. I don't see the benefits of what you suggest. I wouldn't like to insult you, but this sounds a bit childish.
You want everything, which in its turn produces more problems than solutions. I would also like survival stuff in TRP. But really I wouldn't ! Even with 2 main themes, i.e. women, power, the sub loses its context and ''audience". A chain of interesting subs focused on "the truth" etc, is preferable, but then again, most people will disagree in what is true. Even in the posts you say, people disagree on how to get money / power.
In TRP almost everything is NOT up to debate. Tools are tools. But even though it is proved, betas that lurk still manage to bitch and moan. The moderators do a good job, but stupidity leaks sometimes. Imagine now, more themes. More stupidity and the needs this would produce. More moderators more knowledgable people. Those people would clash and it goes and goes.
