Yes, being condescending to a woman is bad, especially if she's your girlfriend or wife. This attitude may work once in a while to get you laid with a one night stand, but any girl worth making your girlfriend or LTR will eventually take off.

I don’t really understand where you’re coming from with comparing leading to condescending. It sounds as if you’re commanding her to do things.

Its ok to have a difference in opinions, you won’t always agree on everything.

But as for leading in a relationship, you lead by actions.

Take the initiative, own your shit, don’t ask for permission. Assume the role of the leader and if she see’s you as a the alpha and a fit leader, she will follow.
