I've noticed that many times when I'm outside socializing, the women even if they have chad boyfriends or a pool of high SMV orbitters, will always be attracted to the group leader. The guy doesn't even have to be good looking(many of them aren't). But always the women in these settings will show IOIs to the group leaders, despite his SMV. Is that natural? If so, what makes a guy AMOG? I really don't know the dynamics here.
Some things I've noticed on these guys ; They are relaxed, having the strongest frame in the group, leading the conversation and taking the decisions, calling people on their bullshit and generally being the leader.

"always" is too strong of a word. But yes, women tend to be attracted to alpha males.
the women in these settings will show IOIs to the group leaders, despite his SMV.
For women, SMV includes alphaness, confidence, frame, and leadership. So while you think some ugly alpha has a low SMV, women will rate him much higher.

What I mean is that I've observed that in these settings, while in this group senario some women get attracted to the group leader. Outside the group settings they wouldn't give a fuck about him. But while in the group he can score with them. And the defining criteria for their attraction is "the leader". For example , the loud mouthed jerk that enters the group in a house party despite not being the host and definitely not the most attractive , manages to draw all of the attention to him and the women as well.

Look, it has been explained to you about 8 times today (including your other thread), your definition of SMV is not women's definition of SMV.
the loud mouthed jerk that enters the group in a house party despite not being the host and definitely not the most attractive , manages to draw all of the attention to him and the women as well.
You see: jerk, not attractive = low SMV
Women see: Confidence, Frame, Leader = high SMV

Its called “contextual alpha”. Go read the side bar material. “The rational male” is mandatory reading.
Yes. You can have a contextual alpha. They may or may not be alpha in ther contexts(or in general). A teacher is an alpha to the classroom and students, but he could be the biggest beta bux going outside of that context.
Even your own alphaness is in a state of flux with any woman you spend time and do things with. You are more or leas alpha depending kn where and what. Some things will remind her of your alphaness or lack off it. Rollo explains it plenty. Read it

Totally the case with doctors in the hospital. Lots of alphas in that setting but outside of work really low SMV. Key is to keep it going everywhere you go. Having it at work is a plus that just needs to build on.

Not trying to be a wiseacre, but, everybody is attracted to the group leader. Or, the group leader is the group leader because everybody is attracted to him. The group leader, by definition gets all of the attention of everybody!

Using words like "always" and "never" makes it difficult to agree because there are always outliers even in examples exhibiting high correlation.

Can you analyze what makes someone the AMOG? What criteria?
FixYourselfFirst 5y ago
You already gave the criteria

Not always on an individual basis, but you have the general idea.
However, if you look at groups, a large majority of women have their attraction distributed towards a small minority of men (usually something in the range of 80 percent of women to 20 percent of men, on average).
I want to point out one thing here as an aside: Women are generally only more likely to cheat with other guys they find attractive if they do not find their current boyfriend attractive, even during ovulation. There's a good amount of work that has been done studying this. However, the takeaway is that they become much, much, much more likely to cheat during ovulation if they do not find their boyfriend/husband/whatever attractive.

You realise women's attraction to you slowly dies over time . Plus your ability to stimulate her emotions. They go hand in hand. And one day your ability to invoke emotion to her reaches zero. At that point you're dead to her. Plus when we have something it loses value in our eyes. So women are always prone to cheat and not find you attractive. Women cheat on their attractive boyfriends all the time.
RedKnightTime 5y ago
This is factually incorrect. Their attraction to you only dies if how attractive you are dies, which ties into becoming complacent.
Now, women's attraction to you may slowly die over time because of how you handle yourself and because of how you handle them, but that would only speak to your own weaknesses.
Again, this is simply incorrect. This only drops off if you let it drop off by becoming complacent.
A high-value man increases in value for a particularly long time compared to how the value of women changes over time but only if you stay on top of things and do not become complacent.
While this is the case for most men most of the time, it's not inherently the case for all men (see above).
modimian 5y ago
This is a nice theory but in reality it doesn't happen. Your ability to invoke emotion to her dies over time. You can be romantic mysterious unpredictable all you want. She will get desensitized to you. Also if she's a plate she will sleep with another man. If she's a girlfriend she will cheat one day. There is nothing you can do to sustain her attraction to you. It might take 10 years for it to go away, but it will go away one day. THEY ALL GET BORED. And when they do you're done. Don't believe me either go full dating mode yourself or ask a woman how she thinks of a past boyfriend. They will talk so apathetically about them, like they never existed or had any value. Their attraction dies, sadly and you die with it.
Acerhand 5y ago
You are not entierly wrong. Its not practical for people to argue this “doesnt always happen” because it is an immense performance to prevent it and its simply not practical.
Not to say with effort you cant maintain things longer but intensity will never match the early 2 year period or so especially before commitment.

This is too fatalist. Not all LTR are doomed.
rus9384 5y ago
Some people are good in hiding their cheating. Not all LTR are doomed.
That said, I believe some women don't cheat, but that's only if they have some moral principles.
Don_Draper27 5y ago
These guys simply hold the highest social value. If people follow their lead, then they have power.
This is attractive and intimidating to women because this one guy could easily make the group love or hate the girl, and you should know by now how valuable social status is to a girl. Being castrated / rejected by a group is one of the worst things that can happen to a girl.
This is why women are much better at hiding things like cheating or how many different guys they're fucking.
bumbuff 5y ago
Yes. Typically. But there are self-aware women that know their own market value and will lock down a guy in the same tier.
They'll still get wet for an alpha. This is part of the reason why 'romance' books for women are popular and tend to get spicy. They still dream of that alpha.
boy_named_su 5y ago
a man can show alpha behavior to women, but not to a group of men
for example, there are plenty of lone-wolf drug addicts w tattoos that pull lots of ass
and plenty of military men that are cucks to their wives

I find that to be anything that resembles friends with a girl she has to have at least a slight attraction to you. Otherwise she will be an annoying bitch, boring or plain won't talk to you. Every girl I get along with has given me some IOIs at some point. Aside from my brother's wives but I would never in a million years notice any from them.
Heimegger 5y ago
Iois at first, you were a sexual option, but then you were friendzoned due to a plethora of reasons.
