Are they worth it? Should you get your associates and jump into the workforce or is it better to transfer to a university to get your bachelors?

Plus Community College is usually cheaper, and the credits count just the same.

If you go the trade route it’s a good way to get out there. Otherwise transfer to a four year.
I went this route. It’s a lot cheaper and more versatile to do your first two at a CC. I had a full time job and could still take classes at night. There was plenty of social opportunity too if you’re worried about that.

Depending on your state there can be some really good options for the CC --> bachelor's route. If you're smart enough and in Cali, places like UCLA and Berkeley are pretty accepting of CC students from what I hear. Same goes for Michigan and U of M.
