Let's say I go to sleep at 11PM, but due to my imcompetence, I fail to do a small portion of my tasks for that day.
Luckily for me, I have a regime where I don't have a "set" time to wake up since I don't have a job which needs me to follow one, so I'm wondering - do I complete the rest of the tasks or go to sleep to not fuck with my sleep schedule?
1. On one hand, doing the rest of my tasks would mean that no matter how shitty it is, I still finish my shit for the day and sleep a bit less the next day, thus taking consequences for my actions. That said, this would leave me with less sleep, and it's debatable if punishing myself like that will make myself better in the long run, especially if I'm groggy for my other tasks.
2. On the other hand, I could just sleep at my normal time, and this might teach me to work faster since I'll be disappointed I didn't get everything done that I wanted.
3. There's also a third option - do the tasks, and since I don't have a set sleep schedule, adjust the hours, meaning I would do the tasks and have enough sleep, but then - I wouldn't have a consistent sleep schedule and basically telling myself that It's okay to not do them immediately since there's no real consequences.
Typing all this out - I think the best option is most likely #2

i think you should spend some extra hours at night practising decisiveness...but seriously, sleep, diet, exercise and maybeeeee sex are all you fundamentally need for a good life, so sleep instead of tasks, body over produce.

How exactly do you "practice" decisiveness?

If you already have a sleep schedule set then don’t fuck it up. That’s actually my exact problem when I have no reason (work or school) to wake up early. I just eventually end up sleeping at 6am and waking up at 4pm and I lose the day.
