My buddy and I are both into trp/seduction. We both go out and chat up girls together. We want to try to pick up together. The issue is he is way taller than me and I can always tell the girls are more into him than me. I’m a little jealous at times but mostly I’m just happy if we get results. Is this a bad thing? Should I accept it and use it to my advantage?

I believe this will work for you in the long term because it will force you to be really good at pickup. You will suffer at first but think of it as part of becoming the best of you. Right now it is your friend that gets attention, but tomorrow you could go alone and some other Chad will be there getting the attention. So learn to deal with that.

A lot of the problem is that I’m very short. Somewhere around 5’4. He’s 6’2. He’s just the natural option. I do fine on my own. Him and I want to try to pick up two-sets.

Get in the gym, work out, build muscle and drop body fat.
Do everything else you can to build your SMV. I go pick up chicks with guys who are taller than me but I get the chicks and they dont. I'm around 5'7 and they are 6+.
What do you look like? If you have good features, adding muscle and dropping fat will give you an edge even over a taller guy. You need to stand out. His height gives him an advantage but like me it's not something you have so you have to work on everything else. But don't get insecure about it, that's the worst thing you can do.
Get comfortable in your own skin and work on yourself. Try it out and see how it goes. You'r going to have to put in the work. In addition to that, you can go out alone without him

5'4 here as well--and I see girls looking at taller guys standing next to me all the time.
Then they meet me and look at me eye to eye and they forget about the taller guy--for a moment. Then you need to isolate her as fast as possible (change venues).
But I would not intentionally choose a good looking tall guy as my wing-man to meet new girls if I had other alternatives. Find another wing-man.

Go alone. So many times I've been partying with a Chad friend. One girl each. End of the night, he ends up with both chicks. Girls want the best guy in the room, and if they don't want any guy in the room, they will leave. But still hang out with him, I learned so much from my Chad friend.

What's your alternative? Hide away at home? Dude just network with him. Would you not go to a business conference with a friend who is much more successful than you and attracts high value contacts?

Generally not a good idea to wing with someone who's SMV is considerably different to yours. Can give bad first impressions, create undesirable dynamics (e.g. u both pull 2 girls but both want to fuck him and not u) and can fuck with your self image/confidence like it's evident it has been.
Improve your SMV first, go out and hang with him still but approach girls solo if you're trying to pull.

The only thing here that will give you poor results is you feeling like you have Lowe SMV than your friend.
Sheilas pick up on social cues, body language and attitude so much more than blokes. It's innate. So when you have the attitude that your friend is hotter than you, whether they would have liked you or not is now irrelevant, they pick up on your feeling of insecurity.
Stand next to the tallest, buffet, hottest bloke in the room a like you are his equal, and sheilas will flock to you. They will want to try and figure out what it is that you have that makes you as hot as this bloke who has the looks. Clearly there must be SOMETHING that makes you so confident to think you're as hot as this bloke. They will shit test the fuck out of you to see if you're really as unbreakable as you think you are, but if you stay rock solid, they will have to hamster something about you to be better than this hot looking bloke.

Happened to me a lot when I had a player for a coworker. Married guy but always out on the pull. (He had a weird wife, trying to catch him was sport to her. Her eyes would light up when grilling me about what he'd been up to.)
