I never went to college straight out of high school and I'm now considering it. I'll be going in a year or 2 so I'll be 22/23 years old as a freshman. Will I be told old to have the college experience and will other freshman be weirded out by my age? Will I be able to get with other freshman that are 18?
My main concern is just if my age would be held against me. I'm not being beta and crying over how I'm older I just see things realistically and want to know how I'd be affected being a 22/23 year old freshman.

FUUCCCKKKKED NO! You're in for an awesome time.
I went to college right out of high school and did 3 fairly bland years. I worked for a couple of years and went back at 23/24 and the world is your fucking oyster. Girls don't really give a shit about guys their own age unless they are insanely attractive. There are a fair amount of girls that are going to be attracted to an older guy that has his shit together. Remember, it's not just 18 year olds but 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 year olds. Some of them are going to dying to fuck you. Meet lots of women and learn to recognize IOI's and move in on those.
Get the fuck in there and make sure you rock college so hard it doesn't know what hit it. Oh yea... pussy shouldn't be your main goal. Make sure you are the best student you can possibly be then build a social life and fuck girls.

Similar situation. You're at a huge advantage. You're physically and mentally developed at a different level than a kid under 20. Sure you'll get shit tests about your age but they're easy to handle. I was in a relationship at the Time so I didn't bang any of the chicks but the opportunities were clear and present.
Funny story I went to a meeting for a club pertaining to my degree (because I was smart enough to do that at 25 but not at 28) and they needed a new president. It was my first meeting and no one was volunteering and a chick pointed at me and says "you look the oldest and most presidential... You should do it" every one agreed and next thing I know I'm president. Turned out to be a great opportunity and I learned a lot and helped me get a job.

yeah I see how it could also be seen as a benefit in some ways. I guess I will just have to see the positive in it.

That's really a skill and it will make your life so much better if you can learn to do that. I'm not talking about pretending things are good when they are not. I'm saying learn to turn everything into an opportunity.

When I was in school, some of my favorite people and good friends were older. They had done military after HS and the army was paying for their college.
They weren't all hitting the gym anymore (this was years ago before the gym was a common as it is today) but they were living on campus, had good life experiences, some money in the bank, and we're a bit older than everyone.
To a college thot, that's some serious smv. You'll slay.

Not at all. There's tons of people there that age or older.

that's reassuring, my main hang up was how my age would be perceived.

When I was a freshman there were a few guys in my class who were 21. They fit right in, and many of them gravitated to friendships with college seniors who were basically the same age. If you make friends within the older classes, you're going to have a mainline right into established social circles. This is sometimes better than with freshmen right out of high school who can still be coming out an awkward phase.

yeah that would be cool, the one main problem with this though is if I stick with seniors they will be gone in a year.

Stop worrying about that shit. It's not high school. Not everyone is on the same path and their are so many people it doesn't matter who's there and who's not. Learn to make friends and get the fuck in there.
Oh yea... did I mention you should use the gym and lift like a mad man and be so fucking ripped that girls melt when they see you. Do that.

heres my advice: if your heart desires it, do it. don't go into your late twenties and regret it. you only get older from here. Also no one gives a shit how old you are. Just own up to it and people will respect you more. I was a retarded 18 year old in college and the 22-25 year olds were like sage wizards to me. have a good time and pick something you really will enjoy.
