I'd tell him, but I have no problem playing bad cop. My friends, after knowing each other for years now, appreciate this trait in me by now. But they didn't at first. You might be doing something good for him, but you're going to look like bad cop. At least if it's your best friend he should understand.

I mean yeah people don't like bad cop. That's the point. But down the line they often appreciate it. I once told my friend the girl he was pursuing for LTR (beta move) was no good and clearly slutty. He got pissed at me and didn't talk to me for... two weeks. You know what happened the second week? She broke things off with him and he found out she was talking to another guy the whole time. He immediately came to me and apologized and said he appreciated what I tried to do for him. Bad cop is bad today but someone people are thankful for in the future. (if they're smart)

If your 'best friend' got a job and the position wasn't that good, but he wanted the job, stopped looking for work for a few months, then you notice that employer suspiciously was seeking to employ someone for his exact position... would you tell him?

Go ahead and tell him. Women don't just update their Tinder profiles with new pictures for funsies. If they're boyfriend-girlfriend, arguably they shouldn't be on Tinder any more at all anyway and should have deleted their profiles and uninstalled the app. Might as well save him the heartache of a few more months of wasted time.

If you tried to stir him right and he still wont listen, there's nothing you can do for him. Id advise you to distance yourself from him because his beta problems will drag u down.
If u want to try one final thing, I'd say make a move on his girl behind his back on tinder and send him screenshots when she incriminates herself with some wild shit. BUT, before you do that, you need to record a video of yourself saying what you're about to do. So that it she somehow flipsbthe script on you and says that you're thebone whobaplroached her, you can always show your buddy the video.
