While I understand the premise behind that book and the movie. I think it was intended to teach young girls/women some form of courting skills. It wasn't intended to reform hoes and help them defraud men of their freedom and resources by false pretense.

Don't underestimate the benefits of trade school or just starting in a job as an entry level worker and work your way up. If you are in an area that has unions for the trades then check them out. They have good training programs and job placements.
