College is a scam nowadays, you are better off learning a trade or starting a business than racking up tens of thousands dollars in debt to attend some woke madrassa. The university system has made it abundantly clear that heterosexual men are not welcome.

Ok, Old geezer here. In my day, before the US govt started guaranteeing student loans, You only go to University if you have a plan. Even more so today because of the US govt getting into the University business, the cost of university has risen tremendously, ya, interesting isn't it.

Why? what's a plan. Like, I'm going to study engineering and get out and get a job in engineering. current job market is good, avg starting salary is X, and I can pay off my loans in , Y amount of years,etc.

Make a plan.

Don't underestimate the benefits of trade school or just starting in a job as an entry level worker and work your way up. If you are in an area that has unions for the trades then check them out. They have good training programs and job placements.

Do you realistically even have the option to go to Uni?

You know exactly what to do. They’re telling you they can’t pay for it and that you should get a job and move your ass out of their house. What else do you need to hear?
