children are resilient, evident from every hardscrabble success story. its hard to see divorce laws as anything more than women using kids as a thin proxy for their own interests, legal human shields. Most women love children, or at least the source of narcissistic supply, and the bargaining chip doesn't hurt much either.

If you suspected there was a war on alpha character traits, this HBR article will not shock you. https://trp.red/t/12i

learned term "sealioning," which is an "aggressive cluelessness that masquerades as a sincere desire to understand." It's like intellectual gaslighting that derails discussions of sensitive topics and imposes costs by taking up time, and a burden of proof. appears they teach it in SJW school. Argument is pointless.

ask yourself honestly by what tribes you are recognized as a member. Doing things is one thing, but being recognized as a peer by the people who do them is another. If those tribes were picking teams, would you be first, in the middle, or last? Are you going to improve the thing you would be picked last for, or drop it? Decide and commit.

@GayLubeOil if you want to meet rp guys at the gym, there are enough shibboleth words in trp lingo to sort a fellow out. otherwise, TRP could all just brigade an existing but dying out fraternity like elks, oddfellows, lions, masons, etc. starting a new one has high costs and non-trivial likelihood of failure.

The Guardian: Swallowing the Red Pill: a journey to the heart of modern misogyny

The only acceptable poetry is the stuff that is written about you and your friends after you have rained hellfire down on your enemies, and all that is left of that vanquished civilization is that wistful poem.

And maybe DMX. No homo.

The Guardian: Swallowing the Red Pill: a journey to the heart of modern misogyny

Read the full article. If it were posted here, the mods would have been deleted it for using hackneyed shaming tactics.

Actually expected to have a reaction to it but was surprised to find I didn't care. It was the odd feeling of sincerely not valuing someones opinion.

The Light-Switch Effect - Why Women Re-Write the History of Relationships.

It's not just peasants shaming each other: a lack of compassion is considered a failure of character. The failure of a marriage is often a failure of faith. Of course there are lots of good reasons to end one, but it's not something anyone wants to be around. The idea of religious communities is that they cultivate character, the practice, well, mixed results.

The Light-Switch Effect - Why Women Re-Write the History of Relationships.

Kind of makes sense. It's like a man being shamed today for leaving a woman.

So important. TRP is killing it today for some reason. Maybe it's the holiday.
