Japanese researchers recruited about 100 men to play a trust game using photographs of women. In the game, each man was given 1300 Yen (approx. $13) and asked to rate the attractiveness of each woman as well as how much money they would give them in the trust game. The men were told that the amount of money given would be tripled, and the woman could then choose how to split the money between herself and the man. Unbeknownst to the men, every woman had already chosen in advance to take all of the money, completely stiffing the man. In other words, every woman played the "honey trap."

This article was on the front page a while ago because of the antibiotic that supposedly counters this effect. Minocycline does appear to have neuroprotective effects, but only in a 'pathological' model - something is going wrong (like HIV or Huntington's), and minocycline slows down damage.

I'm wondering if the Japanese have some sort of brain parasite it is countering, like Toxiplasma Gondii, which is already ubiquitous in places like France.

On a red - pill note... This anti-female framing is misleading. The article you linked to does not accurately describe the study.

only 11 of these selected "Take all the money"
Hazy from here... From what I can tell, the researchers cherry-picked these 11, and of these 11, 8 of them agreed to give photographs for the men to look at.

At any rate, just to play devil's advocate, only 1/5 of these Japanese college girls were completely selfish.

This could have cultural aspects. In India, despite it's rapidly expanding feminist movement, still has the idea that a man should pay for everything, and anything a woman makes is hers and hers alone.

Despite? "What's mine is mine, what's yours is mine" is the essence of modern entitlement feminism.
