I've been fairly successful in online dating (read: freely available sex with good looking chicks) and I recently struck up a convo with a gorgeous chick who I quickly determined was 1) just off a breakup, 2) pretty much nuts. But she is sweet (says she's a virgin) so I have friendzoned her for now. Her hamster went into overdrive btw with her insisting that she was going to friendzone me, lol.
My opening message to her (she visited my profile):
How could you pass up a 52% match like me? You've got some learning to do, yo.
We've been talking for a few days.
She just told me that she just got this opening message:
Hey there,
I was going to start off this message by telling you how stunning I think you are, and I am sure that your pictures do you no justice at all. But then, I was left thinking to myself. What can I say to this woman that will make her genuinely want to message me back.
Honestly, I couldn't really think of anything that was overly charming or witty or just so mind blasting that you couldn't help but give it some recognition.
That being said, I know that there is a lot more to you than just your physical attributes and I would love to talk to you and get to know you on a more personal level.
Now, in case you didn't notice from my pictures. I'm not some skinny guy with a six pack. What I am is a guy who makes being big look good, heh. Honestly though, who I am is a guy who appreciates the good in a person along with the bad. And all I can ask of someone is that they afford me the same trust and opportunity that I would them.
On a completely unrelated note from me, if you found out that I were dead and your initial reaction was to gather the dragonballs. You just might be the perfect woman! That might be a bit of a stretch... But, it would be pretty awesome!
Anyways, I don't want to ramble on too long. So, if you found any of what I said interesting... Or charming, witty and mind blasting, drop me a line sometime and we can talk.
HOLY FUCK. This is why I do so well online.
My response to her:
This guy sounds like a big pussy.
Bonus question: why are the pretty ones always more likely to be batshit insane
Edit: fuck, we know the same people.
eternal_sleepwalker 12y ago
Haaa, that looks like something a redditor would write.
chiminage 12y ago
Yah that guy sounds beta but at least he was genuine. You came off as an arrogant fuck. Your message to her was beta and you tried to qualify to her and sounded insecure as fuck.
[deleted] 12y ago
I don't disagree that the guy was genuine. Beta/alpha/arrogant/etc, I'm not so interested.
I was being genuine though. I do think I'm somewhat of a catch :)
IPlayUkulele 12y ago
That hurt to read. That was me in high school. He actually thinks it'll work, too. He really does.
[deleted] 12y ago
"She will see how honest and genuine I am! I'm not like the other guys hitting on her" sorry dude, girls don't give a fuck about that!
Can_I_Lick_Ur_Bootay 12y ago
THIS IS ME NOW.... I just started with the red pill tonight.... how... how do I...
EDIT: BRING SERIOUS ADVICE! NOT AN EMPTY COMMENT!
IPlayUkulele 12y ago
Have you been to /r/seduction? Read everything in the sidebar about inner game. I think it really helps.
[deleted] 12y ago
Go to the gym. Read Neitzche and the Prince. Make money.
Can_I_Lick_Ur_Bootay 12y ago
What makes those reads something worth spending time investing into? Just so I know why it is important and what I am supposed to take away from them?
Work on cardio, or focus on classes to actually interact with women, or to just focus on getting ripped as fuck for all-around better "sexual market value"?(Am I using the right term with that last part?)
[deleted] 12y ago
The Prince is the basic western book for learning how to learn power politics. Nietzsche helps rip off any moral pretensions you have, as well as challenging you to be your best self. They give you political and philosophical background, which makes your a deeper person.
Focus on getting as ripped as possible, without making it look like you were trying to get as ripped as possible.
MrStinky 12y ago
What would you recommend by Nietzsche?
[deleted] 12y ago
Jesus, I used to (and most likely will, from time to time) make some embarrassing anti-game blunders talking to attractive girls, but to have all the time in the world to compose a message that's supposed to woo a girl and come up with that verbal diarrhea... just sad.
AlwaysLateToThreads 12y ago
Lmao I lost it at dragonballs.
[deleted] 12y ago
I don't get the dragonballs thing.
AlwaysLateToThreads 12y ago
It's a reference to Dragon Ball Z, an anime. By collecting 7 dragon balls a dragon is summoned and you get to make a wish. It's not something you want to reference when trying to give women a favorable impression of yourself.
For it's time, it was a pretty good anime back in the 90's.
RedSunBlue 12y ago
Pffft. Dragon Ball was much better than Dragon Ball Z, and there is a mountain's worth of great anime series from the 90's.
AlwaysLateToThreads 12y ago
Like Sailor Moon.
RedSunBlue 12y ago
I was thinking Cowboy Bebop, but if Sailor Moon is your thang...

NERD
[deleted] 12y ago
Are you criticizing a man for liking something?
Do you realize how stupid it is to call someone a nerd? "I DONT VALUE INTELLIGENCE, YOU DO, YOU MUST BE INFERIOR!"
[deleted] 12y ago
Taking it a little personal, are we?
[deleted] 12y ago
No, I just think you are dumb. You can call me a nerd all you like, I dont take offense to it.
Are all of your rebuttals just personal attacks?
DavidTIntellectual 12y ago
Unless she specifically had "Dragonball Z" listed on her profile as an interest, this was undoubtedly her first thought, too. Hell, she probably thought it even if she is interested in dbz. "Nerd girls" want to get fucked by jocks as much as all the others.
[deleted] 12y ago
Does it ever strike you as a possibility that she saw the overall idea that he was aiming for, and not the specific example?
He was clearly expressing his desire for a girl with nerdy interests, not an obsession with a single show.
The idea that all girls want "Jocks" is ... so dumb.

Nope. Try again.

Post-residency, actually.

Go for it.
rebuildingMyself 12y ago
Thanks to enabling bluepillers, the pretty ones can get away with being batshit insane a lot easier.
2StandardDeviations 12y ago
Bullseye. This is also why more women have BPD than men. If a man acted that, all his friends would stop hanging with him and he'd never have a girlfriend. For a pretty girl, many of these behaviors are actually rewarded and reinforced.

Oh man, I wish I had made that connection many moons ago.
The drama. But the sex!
[deleted] 12y ago
Bang on.
nicethingyoucanthave 12y ago
The pretty sane ones are in stable relationships.
[deleted] 12y ago
This is true.
DavidTIntellectual 12y ago
Good post. It's helpful to see both a successful and unsuccessful opening line from a single girl's perspective.

[deleted] 12y ago
I doubt I am an alpha. I'm just fun and it's clear from the profile.
Most women that usually message me are already in relationships or married otherwise they are youngish (20-24). I don't understand it.
adamlikesprettygirls 12y ago
Hm, that is interesting. There's a pattern between those two groups, to my eyes. What do you think makes your profile look fun?
[deleted] 12y ago
What's the pattern between those two groups?
My pictures are colourful and they have stupid captions.
I don't have anything of substance in my profile, mostly tongue-in-cheek.
adamlikesprettygirls 12y ago
Bored with the usual, want something both new and light. Less likely with a sub-20, since they're having their first rounds of romantic relationships, so its all new, or singles in their late 20s to late 30s, since their clock is ticking, and looking for something serious.
An early-20s on the other hand has been in a relationship, probably more than once, so the "usual" can seem "boring". But they haven't had so many experiences they have a firm grasp on their own emotional reactions; "fun" really does seem consequence-free. Their young enough that 'when are you going to settle down' sounds like weird grandma speak. Similar for non-singles, they aren't worried about finding something emotionally supportive because they already have it, at the same time a routine can get old, hence searching for something different.
Just my two cents
[deleted] 12y ago
Interesting analysis. You may be right...
[deleted] 12y ago
"yo?"
[deleted] 12y ago
Can't explain it but the chicks love it.
[deleted] 12y ago
"Chicks?"
[deleted] 12y ago
Your mom.
[deleted] 12y ago
FFS. Really?
ETA: Either this subreddit is populated by high school kids or you're using sockpuppets. No way in hell the phrase "your mom" should have that many upvotes.
[deleted] 12y ago
Yes.
[deleted] 12y ago
It's Alpha slang. You wouldn't get it.
[deleted] 12y ago
It's really not. It's fucking cheesy. It's acceptable maybe until 21 or 22. Every year beyond that is just sad. There's nothing "alpha" about it as an adult. It's toolish.
[deleted] 12y ago
Its funny, my little brother has the same criticism of me. Soundofmusic.gif
Are_You_A_Real_Man 12y ago
I like "Hey".
[deleted] 12y ago
I try to avoid catch phrases, as I'm not a cartoon character.
