Gentleman, I'll keep this short and sweet.
I swallowed the pill a little more than a year ago in response to being cheated on (AWALT) by a college cheerleader I ascribed a the SMV in the world to.
Despite fucking other girls, lifting, and running a part of me always thought I was going to go visit my buddies who were still in school, run into her, and proudly show her my bucket full of newly acquired alpha traits. "Look how good I am! You made a mistake! Fuck me now please!?!". I think it's a common revenge fantasy for most of us who got hurt.
Well, I'm taking that trip back to my college town, and as I was packing last night thoughts of her popped into my head. My unconscious thought that I spoke aloud? "I don't wanna fuckin' see her".
I am so proud of myself. I never in a million years thought I'd get to this point. I genuinely don't have a revenge fantasy anymore. I could care less about showing her my new physique, my BMW, or give a fuck attitude. I genuinely just don't care to waste any more of my time even thinking of her.
Thanks TRP. For those who have followed my whining heartbreak posts you'll know that this is everything I've worked for.
Time to go reward myseld with my favorite day of the week- shoulder day.
Brodin be with you all.

I know I'm finally over someone when I can see them and just give a nod and continue walking - minimal acknowledgement.
It's not a brush-off or a slight because that would be a small jab of revenge. Instead, it's the exact same thing I do to strangers whom I happen to make brief eye contact with. Just a nod of acknowledgment and maybe a little smile - a nonverbal "have a nice day."
When I see that person whom I once had antipathy for as now a stranger, someone I won't think about whether I see them or not, then I know I'm finally "over it."

That's called closure. It doesn't happen when she apologizes, or admits she was wrong, or when you fuck a new girl. It happens when you just genuinely don't care about this person anymore.

Feeling that makes me happy. It's like a big rock is thrown out of my chest.

Absolutely sagest advice. When you have absolutely no investment in any way you are free.

well done. I'm approaching this stage myself, brother. Keep at it. You want loyalty, companionship and kindness in 2016?
Unlike what my mother used to suggest, a woman is the last place I go to look for those traits.
I got a female labrador retriever. She "gets me". So in essence, the average family dog will "get you" better than any female human being you meet. And won't flip on you nor try to convert you. Dominance/submission guaranteed. Much better travel companion, and what's more:
active. If I had a nickel for every girl I meet, fat or skinny, who has no hobbies, and doesn't do anything active....it's kinda depressing frankly.
So. Keep at it. I can't fuck my dog, but I hunt for that among the human females. But as for finding those other traits, I just rely on dogs.

Worthless
They should thank themselves they're at least good for fucking and chucking.
Edit: before TRP, I always looked at these girls through my oneitis lens. I actually didn't think girls like them existed. Now, I see them for what they truly are. They're as pathetic as the BP boys(NEETs) that play video games, eat junk food, and fap all day.

"That's not a skill. You're just annoying."

i'd dare to challenge that since you felt it necessary to proclaim that you don't care. it's like women who talk about how independent and confident they are, they're usually dependent and insecure. just food for thought not firing shots. i don't see anything wrong with wanting to rub it in her face how much she fucked up by losing you, as long as you don't give the bitch the satisfaction of feeling your cock in her mouth.

My first thought to. Still it's progress. He should simply not care if he does see her.

Good job man. I wish I can get to where you're at someday. My ex broke up with me almost 2 years ago and I still beat myself up over it. Good on you for moving on with your life. Peace.

I was in the same position with my High school sweetheart. Dated from 13 - 17 when I found out she was lying and emotionally cheating. This is when I swallowed TheRedPill. I'm 19 now and I realized about a month ago while reading Tony Robbins that we attach "missing her" to our identity. So we can't overcome it. Using some of his techniques on neuroassociation (finding out what happened in my life that made me so attached to her - The answer: Blue Pill Indoctrination.) I realized that in a sick way, I was addicted to listening to Modern Baseball, Brand New and Taking Back Sunday while I sulked and felt bad for myself. Because if I stopped I'd have to account for myself, I'd have to stop making excuses for being a pussy. Anyway, I can honestly say I've had this same realization as the OP. If you want to read more about Neuro-Association go read "Awaken the Giant Within" by Anthony Robbins. It may help. Goodluck, I know how hard it can be.

This is kinda where I'm at with my ex, I know I'm going to see her again and I can tell part of me is thinking, "wait till she see's how awesome I am, I bet she'll come over and flirt with me." Never thought of it like this though, thanks for the insight.

Best feeling in the world. When the thing you cared far too much about at your own expense no longer owns you. It feels amazing. That's what doing things for your self does.
Way_Of_Man 10y ago
And as a side effect, having this attitude kills her more than anything.
You could go on to be the next Brad Pitt for all we know. But if you went back at her in any way with an attempt at "showing what she missed" she'll quickly read between the lines and see it for what it is: A veiled desire for validation.
But if you ignore her? Act like she doesn't exist? Genuinely don't care if you see her, if she approves, etc.
That's freedom.

Congratulations. That's the first step to true freedom.

To be honest it doesnt sound like someone who have a "IDGAF attitude", best probably would have been forgetting she existed, still good on you for focusing on yourself for yourself and not for her or any other woman
