Recently, I was out with a few friends, and 1 friend of a friend. We were at a curling club watching curling (how very Canadian!). I was being playful with the waitress, teasing and flirting. She was receptive and playing back. The friend of a friend (let's call him John) kept apologizing to her on my behalf. When she'd leave I'd ask him to not speak for me, but he continued. It escalated to him scolding me when I'd tease her for being too slow, or spilling, or whatever.
How do you deal with White Knights?

I try to avoid them. If they are around, I usually just boss them around. Betas fucks like that will very rarely challenge you in a direct confrontation if they feel that they are dealing with a genuine alpha male.

But in the end Trent got the girl (and got a girl for Mike too). Best way to teach is by showing. If you get that waitress's number, it will shut that White Knight up in a heartbeat. Can't argue with results.

Really, their are 3 courses of action: 1.Crush him (like pk's example). This is probably the easiest short term route.
I've personally found that if you call one out as a cock-block right away in a male dominated group setting (ie; 3-5 guys out the club) they tend to stop very quickly.

I hate dealing with white knights, if they were in my group (never by my choice) I would simply explain to them the error of their ways. In the field they are much bigger assholes when on the opposing team so I snuff them out hard, tell them to go away... it's very hostile I know, but I just can't stand putting up with that bs. I view white knighting as a male form of hamstering, only guys with serious sexuality issues do it, because they feel as if they need an excuse in the back of their mind to defile a woman. A kind of excuse for sleeping with women that will protect their reputation. The male version of whore-phobia ~
