Hello all, I'm very new here and have been reading daily lately and like TRP concepts a lot. Thought you guys would find this interesting - an article on managing fears as a lawyer.

http://www.abajournal.com/magazine/article/how_lawyers_can_turn_fear_into_an_ally

While the article specifically pertains to lawyers, you can easily replace the nouns with those applicable to TRP - instead of court arguments and cases, use "women" or "approaching," etc. You'll notice that one of the lawyer's mentioned goes to a higher level court and decides he needs to maintain frame and does so by preparing like crazy and bringing people he knows so he can keep it together better - he makes the unknown environment known and maintains "confidence and control."

The article discusses overcoming learned attitudes and learned fears or anxieties in law school. TRP could easily imagine the same thing with our feministic trainings in society. Last, it discusses mindfulness and techniques to use fear to your advantage. Pretty good stuff. Enjoy!
