Summary: A pragmatic heuristic to understand female psychology and red pill from a post acceptance point of view (disclaimer : long read).
Body :
There have been a lot of analogies popping in the last few days on this forum, and that's a great thing; Analogy is a great heuristic to understand an unknown by relating to something which you already know of. So i'll throw in my favourite one as well and hopefully it will help some guys and will serve as a good place to come back to, in times of doubt.
Remember this : "A woman is like fire"
Yup, that's right. A woman is like fire.
A woman is like fire. She's a flame, which flickers a lot and always sways with the wind. So expect whimsicality and fluidity in her emotions and her identity in general.
A woman is like fire. She provides warmth. She can infuse energy and brightness in those cold harsh winters. So appreciate her for the ability to provide you comfort in times of stress.
She's fire. She's can be beautiful like a candle light flame, bringing elegance into the ambience and inducing tranquility.
Fire she is. If you are careless, she will burn you. She won't show mercy. She will not be appealed to. She is nature and she is unthinking and she's unreasonable. So keep safe distance.
Think of your stages of unplugging like a child touching the stove. You begin naive, full of optimism and hopefulness. You are embodiment of innocence and you truly believe that the universe is a kind and sunny place. And you see a candle on the table. You have never seen anything like that and you are enraptured; It's shape, it's etherealness, and it's remarkable shine. Something so beautiful surely has to pure, sublime, innocent and source of unconditional happiness. You are sure that it won't bring you harm and you want to experience it more with enthusiam. That is denial.
You move towards the candle, and you ponder how the flame melts the wax as it burns away, making the candle more beautiful. You wonder what it feels to touch the flame and you bring your fingers towards it. You have a gut feeling that something is wrong as you hover closer to it, but you tell yourself. But as soon as you touch it, you experience a painful sensation - the most painful that you ever experienced and will ever experience. You stagger on your feet as you try to make sense of what happened in such a blink of an eye. You grow angry over the flame as to not meeting your expectations and not being fair to you despite your unconditional adoration towards it. That is anger.
And then you learn and realize that it's just the nature of fire - That's what flames do. So you burn your candles and read wonder books under it, reading which wouldn't have been possible without the candle. You move around in the dark with it. You genuinely enjoy your time with it. And yet when the candle nears it end, you throw it out and light a new one. You had your time with the previous one and now it's a new one. And maybe you'll paint under this, instead of reading. But you know that it will end one day and you'll have to get a new one. You never poke your finger into the flame anymore. You've mastered fire. That is acceptance.
Fire is what fire is. Women are what women are. Red pill is the knowledge of the flame. Just as it's silly to go on about anti-fire campaigns and fire shaming, it's useless to take an adversarial position on women. Don't be a misogynist, be a pragmatist. Spend your time with her, enjoy each other to the most of your abilities and then when the time comes, you move on to your life and she to hers. You don't deny the warmth of the flame, and you don't deny away the happiness that the woman can provide. Yet, know she will burn you if you don't keep boundaries. But that's cool, ain't it? If you can handle a candle, why can't you handle a woman?
So yeah, there are a lot of bitter things in things in the TRP, and women didn't turn out to be the snow flakes we imagined them to be. But it's all managable, we manage risks with rewards in every other sphere of life. You are having problems, because you haven't been told that she's fire and you haven't been told that you are steel. So enjoy the feminine warmth and beware of the wild fire.
Conclusion :
-
TRP is not misogynistic but pragmatic. The degree to which you realize the red pill is the degree you become indifferent to it.
-
It makes rational and emotional sense to enjoy women, without being antagonistic towards them, while at the same time maintaining healthy boundaries and conditions in your relationships.
- The stages of TRP are natural responses of a rational purpose. So don't belittle the angered for their anger and the beta for their ignorance. You just move on your own path.
PS : I'm not very sure if such fluffy arguments is a nice idea of a good productive read for all of you, so would like to apologize if it wasn't so. But i thought this helps me nowadays to see the world in a more relaxed way, and would be great if it helps others as well.
Best of luck to all and hoping to learn more from you guys.

Wow. Read about this in wikipedia. Apparently, hypergamy was common knowledge in greek mythology. Thanks for the introduction.

Very poetic really! Except it's not misogyny to point out we've been made 2nd class citizens by modern society it's self awareness.
Divorce law, University Kangaroo courts, DV Duluth model, need I say more ?
I got LEGITIMATE beef with women, that's not misogyny but it is anger.

A woman, like fire, is a troublesome servant and a terrible master.

When a fire gets out of control what happens? Everything burns down.
Good post.

Then society is saying: It's good to play with flames! Flames don't hurt you, they're perfect!
Look my cousin touched a flame and he was just fine! So what are you so worried about? You should put 60% of your wealth right next to that open flame! It would make you a REAL MAN to do that!
ShanksNes 10y ago
And that's where red pill comes in. By knowing the reality of feminine nature, we can maintain healthy boundaries.
[deleted] 10y ago
This is a very nice way of looking at things. It also has the advantage of being extremely palatable to audiences that are on the fence about the redpill thing in general, so its rhetorical power matches its explanatory power. Nice work.

You can't heat water, power cars or produce electricity with women.
Well, not efficiently, anyway.
ShanksNes 10y ago
But you can produce other things of value with women .. ;-)

Hm.
I tend not to apologise for things like this (fluff) if I do them. I imagine it makes me seem more confident.
ShanksNes 10y ago
Appreciating my time, is one of the good things that red pill has taught me. So, nowadays i hold myself and others to a higher standard regarding this.
Consequently my focus has been on brevity in my writing. The apology was for not writing it more concisely.

It's like, I bet you had the 'an' right at first, but you went and got the thesaurus out and forgot to change it to 'a' for pragmatic.
Did 'pragmatic' start as 'efficient'? Or did you add the adjective after you changed 'examining' to 'heuristic'?

No. Quote where I said that. Quote where I said people shouldn't expand their vocabulary.
Oh yeah, I didn't say that.
How about you show me this is actually r/theredpill, grow a pair, and understand I was making a joke because OP's grammar was shit.

Synonyms are only acceptable if:
However, using a thesaurus to find synonyms is totally unacceptable and means you're an uneducated idiot, which is why you should be discouraged from expanding your vocabulary and knowledge.

Haha.. So much controversy over an extra "n". Nyway, i deeply regret such a sin and assure you tht i won't mistype a single charcter ever again til the last day i type.
ShanksNes 10y ago
Or rather it's my sloppiness. My bad :P

I think he was just wanting to trace your original thought process, in order to get more meaning from it. If he was being critical, he wouldn't have cared what the original word was.
Maybe it originally read "An heuristic" and you added pragmatic.
