Edit: I am not a native speaker and I was made aware of the fact, that I might have used a wrong word. If you read "replacable", please substitute for "exchangeable". Exchangeable in the sense of: If you do not do it, another man will fill in the gap.
tl;dr: Although you are replaceable, the world is built upon men like you. The world relies on men like you. The world needs men like you.
With all the negativity and all the anger that comes with unplugging, one is easily tempted to forget about and disregard one simple, but important fact: You are a fucking man.
As you might have already guessed, it's time for some feelgood shit. The Weltschmerz visits me from time to time and today is one of these days.
For thousands of years men have shaped the world. It was and is us who've been mutilated and hurt - physically or mentally - and have been killed for some greater good. Millions of men gave their life for the promise that this world would become a better place because of their sacrifice.
It might be, that we let ourselves be too easily trapped by the sociopathic elites and it might not have been for the true better good most of the time, but at least we had a mission - a purpose. We did not die a meaningless death. We at least had an idea. The idea of leaving the world in a better state than we found it.
I do not even want to start about the countless other men, who didn't die in an armed conflict, but chose to submit themselves to the progression of humankind - all those scientists, philosophers and leaders, who devoted themselves to the bettering of the current state as it was and is, and who put themselves and their needs behind those
I am not an US-American, and to be honest I heavily despise of all your government's actions after WWII, but your founding fathers and all those who took part in the war for independence, are men I envy for everything they stood and stand for.
You might be heavily occupied with anger towards society and you might often experience the feeling of powerlessness. You might think that you are living in fucked up times. Take a minute (or five) and think what those guys experienced, and then model yourself on them.
They saw a wrong and they did not succumb to it. They thought of a solution and they implemeted it and they changed their world to the better.
You might think that you are not be able to change the world for humankind, but you are surely able to make a change for you. For you and for all those who surrond you. So fucking do it.
You are not powerless. We are not powerless. I could start and tell the story of my life all over again. How I have essentially been a homeless alcoholic bum. How I experienced my own disposability, lying in the gutter with people trying to not even give me enough attention to spit on me. But I do not have to. My story is probably the story of many of you.
You are disposable and you know it. To me you though, you are not not. You are a hero. You chose to leave the comfortable passenger's compartment and make your way to the cockpit, have a seat in the pilot's seat and finally take charge of your life.
Live by these standards. The world needs you. Don't let it down. Don't let me down. I need you.
I don't give a fuck if you are a selfish bastard and only want to slay some pussy right now. I know that as you grow older, you'll also grow wiser and that you'll shape your surroundings for the better.
So would you do me the favour and hit the gym hard, please? Would you please get rid of all that meaningless overhead which is occupying your life at the moment and fucking focus? Focus on becoming a better man?
Lessons learned: You are a man. You possess the powers required to shape yourself and your surroundings. Be thankful, don't waste them and make use of them. You are a man. Don't let yourself be ashamed of it. Be proud.
Happy 4th of July you fuckers.

Hero of the Day. Man brings some chick to fucking tunisia of all places, volunteers his body as a bullet bag to save her. He survives.
I figured I'd piggyback this post because this is a small example, but considering the potential loss/gain of this near tragedy in light of /u/CisWhiteMaelstrom 's lucid comment, you've really gotta wonder what's worth applauding about that instict?
Of course all these hoes are going to encourage men to be "real men" and throw themselves in front of bullets. Women love to stroke men's ego's in the service of their own self-interests. One might look at the micro-dynamic of a wife pestering her husband to provide for her as a module in the macro-dynamic of society's entitlement to progress.
This progress is really measured in how comfortable and safe life is made for women and children-- by men. It then follows that OP's decided substitution of "Male" with "Heroes" in his title is really just an extension of women's manipulation of men through flattery.
Conclusion: Simply be aware of your motivations and the source of your pride. Which validates your accomplishments? Society's collective and unappreciative nod that things are finally how they should have been all along? (ie: people's use of the word "should" when talking about the future) Or your accomplishments themselves?
A hero is someone who goes beyond the expectations and abilities of everyone else around him. The man from the imgur post is not a hero because society already expected him to take a bullet for a female: he met expectations. The man from the imgur post is not a hero because he was no more able to shield a female than the next schmuck: anyone could do that.
Do not adorn yourself with the title of a hero simply because you are a man who is fulfilling his sense of purpose. Men are expected to and able to make the world a better place, therefore- doing so does not make you a hero. The meaning of the word "hero" has been carved out by people who would prefer to use it to manipulate others into doing the hard work and sacrifice for them.
A red pill man is insusceptible to flattery. He is too aware. And too busy improving himself and the world because it's just what he does.

Hypothetical Hamster:
"Maybe if he wasn't drunk unconscious on the beach he could have protected her from the gunman that day."
Yes, I made this up and yes, somehow a hamster would find the man at fault.
And tangentially, I only look to play games with clear systems for winning, eg: Chess, Life, Weightlifting.
What I mean is these fit the proverbial 'cause and effect.'
I dislike games without systems of winning, eg: debating women (always a loss), dying for an imaginative god, dying for an ideal (heroism, nationalism) , donating to a corrupt foundation etc.
The Red Pill gentlemen. Use the lens.

Men have never been replaceable; women always have been. Male disposability gets a bad rap on here and to some extent it should; it does come with a lot of downsides but I find it to my liking. Disposability doesn't mean men are worthless. It means we're valued differently than women. Disposability doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with losing a man's life but rather that there's nothing intrinsically wrong with it. His body isn't valuable. Anything he gets for free from mother nature is disposable. However, nothing else is. His labor, expertise, skill, leadership, and strength are indispensable. The world mourns famous dead men for a reason. We lost something of value, something we couldn't replace.
Women are valued intrinsically. What they bring to the table, they get just for showing up. They get their bodies which sounds pretty sweet but it's not. EVERY woman has a body and so EVERY woman can bring it to the table. Every woman can suck dick about as well as any other, have babies about as well as any other, and be about as pretty as any other. A 9 really isn't that much more desirable than a 7. They aren't unique or interesting. It's one reproductive set and some holes, easily interchangeable with any other. They added nothing to what they bring and so they get less out. What a woman gets for free is replaceable because every other woman has what it takes to replace it but when a great man dies, we lose something we'll never get back because he built something unique and valuable. Men might be disposable but women are the replaceable ones.
loin_fruit 11y ago
And when you think about this, you realize that because they are no different than one another, and what you find in one "special unicorn" you will find in another.
There has never been a time I found something I liked in one woman and could never find again in another.
If you keep the said quote above in mind, you can get past your oneitis and start to realize she isn't shit.

Men have a greater range. Think about the greatest figures in history. It's practically all men. Think about the most despised and evil pieces of shit. It's practically all men. Murderers, dictators, CEOs, billionaires, world leaders. Men have a far greater spectrum. Men just do more.
I think a man's outlook on this comes down to his personality. Most women will always have some kind of safety net. There's always a BB to take them in. Shelters. Society would far and away help a woman over a man. If you're down and out as a man you're really down and out. Despite that, you can go so much farther.
I don't care about someone's plan for me. I don't want a safety net. I'd prefer to take that risk. Men can go much higher and fall much further. I like it that way because I plan to go high.

This is the problem with redpill "philosophy", its very feels over reals. It is largely based on uour own inuitive feelings and perceptionns that are colored by personal emotions, bitterness, and insecurities. There is little here based on actually fact or realities. Assuming the false notion that women's total value is based solely on her physical appearnce, your comment erases the existence of unattractive women. A "9" would be far more desirable than a "3" or "1". Similarly a man who makes $110,000 a year wouldn't that more desirable than someone who makes $90, 000. In reality, I wouldn't be attracted to a "10" with no education, career, or life-long aspirations. I'm not into vapid bimbos--redpillers are, because they are the male equivalent of vapid bimbos
What about when a great woman dies? Are you implying that a woman has never built something unique or valuable? It's statements like these which reveal the weakness of redpill "philosophy". These are entirely unsubstantied claims which are contrary to our existing body of history and academia. But facts, stats, and logic are irrelevant to redpillers

I remember when I was younger and just started going to college and being on my own for my first time... I had to pay for shit, find out my job doesn't pay enough, and do what it takes to get by. Then as this went on, I started getting a little frustrated hanging out with my female friends. It was like everything was just handed to them for being attractive and female. All of their money besides rent (assuming dad wasn't paying for his princess) just went on themselves, while everything was sort of given to them either at rebate or free. Even when they lost a job that they were being overpaid at, they'd QUICKLY find something else. Or if they were every unable to pay their rent, for whatever reason, they'd have NO problem finding someone to take them in for as long as they needed to get back on their feet.
I was young, and it didn't really bother me, but it did make me a little upset when they'd bitch about their problems. I'd sort of think, "Omg, don't even complain, life gave you a raft to swim to adulthood on. You'll be fine."
But as I got older, I realized, this if anything was their greatest weakness. It's why you don't see many women entrepreneuers, innovators, nor great leaders. It's not that women are incapable, per-say, rather, because it's not necessary. Humans will take the path of least resistance, and for women, you can get through life just fine so long as you focus your efforts on staying in shape and being feminine. That's it. So why the fuck would they bother going through the struggle if life is fine without it?
Men, on the otherhand realize, "Well, if I want something and be successful, I must be successful. It's up to me. Nothing will be handed to me." I even have a joke about it where just about everything you see in the world is thanks to men. That if men could get a hot wife and get paid just fine by sitting in their parent's basement playing WoW and eating nachos, they fucking would. However, that's not reality. If men want a good life, they have to carve it out themselves. They have to do big things, out of necessity.
Think about all the shit around us. That's because men HAD to rise above their disposibility -- which is our greatest asset: The requirement to be great, or else you'll just become another failed man, with your corpse left on the pile of other men, that the other greats use to rise above.
That's why we have fucking giant fucking skyscrapers, computers, and all that other great shit in the world. I'm sure at one point, a bunch of dudes at NASA were sitting around bitching about how they can't get laid, and some dude joked about that the only way they'd ever get laid is if they were able to send a man to the moon. And just one dude in that circle thought, "You mean I could get laid if I can figure out a way to get to the moon? I'll find a way to get to the moon if that's what it takes." And boom, a few years later, we are on the moon.
rpscrote 11y ago
Now I want nachos...
Also your commentary is brilliantly spot on.

I've noticed this in particular. Whenever girls I know lose their jobs for whatever reason, they're rarely unemployed for more than a week or two. Goes for high school girls at weekend jobs and for women in professions too.
Snapback155 11y ago
Brilliant. We do it because we need to. This is probably one of the biggest realizations that feminism would like to go away.
BrazillianGodzillian 11y ago
Being a man means that you are high risk. If you succeed, you win big. It comes with a high cost though.
This explains why CEOs and homeless are all men.
[deleted]
WatchYourToneBoy 11y ago
Your theory falls apart because women make up a far greater percentage of the poverty stricken in America (and the rest of the world). Women are oftens single mothers, so they are more inclined to seek out shelters and government assistance programs for the well-being for their children. Many women also resort to deplorable means such as prostitution to escape homelessness. Regardless, statistically, women, on average, are far more likely to face poverty and economic hardship. But to the redpiller stats dont real; only feelz
[deleted] 11y ago
You are correct. The statistics say that women do face poverty more than men. In the U.S. it is only a few percentage points higher for women.
But the rate of homelessness is far higher for men.
BrazillianGodzillian 11y ago
Can you even read? I'm talking about HOMELESS, not girls facing "economic hardship" selling their bodies to buy loius vuitton handbags.
In western countries, the large majority of homeless are men (75–80%), with single males particularly overrepresented
barrypickles 11y ago
To be fair, you did say "all" earlier.
cleftscout 11y ago
To be fair, the average human should understand what an exaggeration to prove a point is as well.
barrypickles 11y ago
I don't think it helps if you exaggerate, it just makes your argument look weaker in the long run. Those statistics are overwhelmingly in favor of the point that is being argued, so why embellish at all?
cleftscout 11y ago
It only looked weak when some petulant SJW came by. I don't think he should have replied.

You describe why we CAN but the outstanding question remains "WHY?"...
Why should I contribute to any purpose higher than myself? After 25 years in my nations military I see no advantage in sacrificing your self and accepting disposability. I traded my personal freedom and safety for money and a false notion of a higher purpose that is built on a foundation of soft shit.
Your paraphrased "man up" language isn't convincing.
kinklianekoff 11y ago
it's much more abstract than "serve your country". it can just as easily be to fight AGAINST your government. it's ultimately about acting on your environment,. adding value is then the rational act for both you and others
vandaalen 11y ago
Nah. You misinterpreted me.
I personally do not believe in armed conflict. At least not the way and for the purposes it is executed today. I truly pity men who join the military today.
Not out of despise, a feeling of superiority, some narcissism or because I regard my morality of being something extraordinary, but only because of the fact that it must truly be a heart-wrenching experience to be forced to see the world through a red pill lense. Red pill not in the sense of mating, but in the sense of how the world is turning.
I have never been to war and I damned well wish I will never have to. I understand where you are coming from though.
But let me tell you this: By being the man you are, you serve this society more than necessary in my humble opinion.
Nationality is a concept I never truly understood. I would never consider fighting for my life for such an abstract concept.
What I do understand though is passion, purpose and meaning.
ChairBorneMGTOW 11y ago
Fair enough - I only draw on my experience (military) when "replaceable" or "making the world a better place" come up in conversation. I understand that there are a multitude of ways to contribute to society.
I still don't see much point in being willfully motivated to contribute though. I have a completely mercenary attitude towards altruism. I do good things for myself (including finishing my military service) but not for others. I didn't always think that way. But I learned over time.

When you become the best version of yourself you will have left the world a better place than you found it without that being your purpose.
All men want to leave the world a better place than they found it, whether your world is the plot of land you inhabit, the city you live in, or the entire nation you are a part of.
ScottRikkard 11y ago
By becoming happier yourself you do make the world a better place. I agree. Also, I would never call oppressors/dictators happy, true happiness I think brings only good to all (except those being irritated by someones happiness - but that's their problem).
So we are on a mission to make ourselves happy.
laughkisskill 11y ago
Value chain management. Like in business, only for men personally. Every person uses external inputs, improve the quality of those inputs and you increase your potential output.
This is why "selfish charity" is actually very healthy.
Pure Samaritans are still kinda silly imo
ChairBorneMGTOW 11y ago
I think we agree...
I mentioned elsewhere in this thread, I now have a mercenary attitude towards altruism, kindness or "contributing to society". If it benefits me, good. If it benefits somebody other than me as well, equally good. If it benefits somebody else but not me in any way, fuck it.
I didn't always think that way, but both the state above me and society around me have proven they don't deserve any effort or sacrifice on my part. Effort and sacrifice is for me only now.
vengefully_yours 11y ago
Air Force guys seem to think differently, don't we?
He's not saying man up, he is saying take control of yourself. There is a difference. Man up implies taking one for the team, sacrifice like you and I did to the cult of airman. After 25 years I assume you're on your own now, unless you made chief. You sacrificed already, now you get something in return, some health care and a bit of cash every month.
Doesn't seem like much, but what it is from my perspective is a little bit of freedom. You're not beholden to a job just to survive, you can travel where you want to go rather than where you're told to go. Space A motherfucker, do you use it? If not I can help you out with it, it was part of my job.
You're in a position where you have a safety net that acts like a springboard. You can reach higher because of it. You direct where you go, where you want to live, what you want to do. Start a business, invent shit like I am, refine something, build shit, utilize the pittance they give us and get a big ROI from it because the risk is behind you. You're on the other side from where the kids are.
Shit bro, you're not in the position to have that negative attitude. You have the choice to trade hours for dollars to some corporate interest, or to apply sweat equity and forge your own tools to carve your path from the universe.
No more oil wars for the profit of others for you and I. Start your own war, make the profit for yourself. That's what he is saying.

E8, Canadian Forces. Still in uniform but not for much longer and I'm pretty disillusioned. The benefits and pay are good, but I don't believe my society (or country) is worth sacrificing myself for.
To be frank, Canada doesn't deserve the sacrifice of good men. They proved that the way they treated Clayton Matchee and Robert Semrau (two famous court martial here). I have seen subordinates crushed by the system undeservedly.
And so I transcended belief in a collective good men. Now I believe in just me and mine.
I spent over four decades gobbling up the line that being disposable was somehow noble. Not anymore.
Fuck that.

Disposable or not, men's value fluctuates dependent on the world population and the level of stability. As the male population increases, the value of an individual man decreases. This would be true for women, too, was it not for men's tendency to live in the thrall of the feminine. One would imagine that, after times of great upheaval and death, namely after either of the World Wars, the value of an individual man would have been at its highest, and would have restored some sense of equilibrium to the natural advantage the female possesses in the mating game.

Men are disposable but not replaceable.
Women are replaceable but not disposable.
tallwheel 11y ago
The first is only true when the man is making a unique contribution to society.
[deleted] 11y ago
Yeah,That's what being a man is about. Our aim should be inline with that.uniqueness is not that necessary. Just our skill set needs to be in enough demand.
NecroticFury 11y ago
You are essentially saying that men are worthless but cant be replaced. Women are worthwhile but they can be replaced. Nether are actually true.
[deleted] 11y ago
You didn't actually say why what I said is not true. I would love to hear it.
Men are Disposable
The men are valued for what they do instead of what they are. Men are not that necessary for survival of the society. Women are capable of doing all things men do. Let's assume a society of 100 men and 100 women. even if 99 men are dead, society can survive. because that one (happy)guy can impregnate the 100 women. So in case of danger to society, it makes sense to sacrifice men to save the society.
Men are not replaceable
Different men have different role in society. Men are valued for what we do. Each men have different skill set. One set of skills cannot be simply replaced by other set of skills. So you cannot replace the army general with a priest. But both of them have their own value in the society. That's why men are the prize.
Women are not Disposable
Women are valued more for what they are then what they do. Women's valued for their ability to give birth to kids. men can't do it. Just having a vagina makes them valuable to society. In the same 100 men,100 women society, let say 99 women are dead. Now society is totally fucked. they cannot survive any more. So they are not disposable. I'm sure you heard "Women and children first","10 people killed including 3 women" etc.
Women are replaceable
As the value of women depends on their ability to give birth, any women can do it. there is no special skill set involved. Women A can be replaced by Women B. There's no "special snowflake" women. That's why we advise men to have "abundance mentality" here.
