For natural selection to exist, there must be a system for weeding out poor genetics. Predatation, inter-group conflict, and environmental dangers are all examples of ways that the weak have been removed from the gene pool. Above these examples though, is one system by which all species ensure that the fittest genes are passed on, and that is mate choice.

The desire to have sex with mutliple women is engrained in men. Your body wants to make as many little yous as possible. Since a woman can only make one at a time, your best chance of guaranteeing the survival of your offspring is to impregnate as many women as you can. This is not an alpha trait, this is a male trait. In order for natural selection to take place though, the fittest males must be the ones capable of doing so.

Enter hypergamy. Since the number of men a woman is capable of reproducing with is limited, women must have higher standards in mate choice in order to ensure the best chances of survival for their offspring. This leads into attraction triggers.

To paraphrase Athol Kay, everything that is considered sexy (aside from fetishes) has implications of increased ability to make or raise babies. For men, these are mostly related to physical attributes of women. Hips, tits, youth, weight. These are all indications of fertility and nurturing ability. Low partner count is another example. It indicates an increased likelihood that any baby she has is yours. For women, it's more complicated.

You've probably seen the acronym LMS thrown around. Looks, Money, Status. These three things make up the foundation of a man's sexual value. Your looks are an indication of physical fitness and health, or an indication of the likely fitness and health of your offspring. Money and social status relate to your ability to provide safety and provisioning for a family. Most things that women are attracted to fall into one of these three categories.

It is a red pill axiom that sexual attraction is not negotiable. No matter how much time fat ugly post-wall women spend tring to convince the world that they are sexy, men won't find them attractive. No matter how hard Bobby Beta tries to convince his oneitis that his devotion to her would make him a great lay, she won't find him attractive. The things that attract us are out of our control.

The problem is that men are polarized in a way that for one man to be everything a woman wants at all times is near impossible. The traits that make a man attractive sexually (indications of passing on good genetics) are often the opposite of traits that women find comfort and security in (indications of provisioning). Alpha fucks, beta bucks isn't some evil conspiracy to keep men in their place. Bobby Beta has his purpose.

Briffault's Law tells us that where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place. If all a man has to offer is good genetics to pass on, that's all he is good for. After a while the woman suddenly 'decides' that he became a jerk and she needs someone to "treat her right." Now it's Bobby Beta's time to shine. A few blowjobs to lock him down and all that's required to maintain his provisioning is twice a month duty sex. What a great deal!

From an evolutionary perspective, these are all great things. But harems and cuckoldry aren't good for society. If 80% of men aren't getting laid, 80% of men have no motivation to function as positive members of society. So monogomy was introduced to the world as a means of controlling mate choice and ensuring that men have a reason to build things. And society thrived. We reached an age of 'enlightenment' and no longer have need of the behaviors that got our species to where it is. Women don't need to be attracted to muscles anymore, since a weak man's children have a great chance of survival. Has this enlightenment made women unattracted to muscular men? Fuck no. Sexual attraction is not negotiable. Men don't need to find breasts attractive anymore, you can feed babies straight from a can. This knowledge doesn't make us any less attracted to the sight of a great set of tits.

When we say that sexual strategy is amoral, this is what we are referring to. It's not right or wrong, it just is.
