I wonder though if it is already beginning to shift. Yeah thirsty AFC be thirsty AFC but the rate at which obesity and shitty, catty, bolshie attitudes are sweeping modern women coupled with AFC and somewhat enlightened brothers going MGTOW (checking out the game entirely) it wouldn't surprise me if we were beginning to swing back naturally; or at least slow the rate at which the gap is growing.

Both men would be satisfied with sex twice a week. Both women would be satisfied with sex once a week. The alpha has sex with both women once a week, and the beta never has sex.

In this scenario, everyone is getting exactly what they want except the beta male. Woman are having just as much sex as men. However, men have more variance in both the amount of sexual partners and the amount of sex.

Now stretch this to billions of people and de-exaggerate the numbers a little, and you have your answer.

Even though men and women have equal amounts of sex, men actually demand more sex, creating a shortage for men and a surplus for women. This results in more extreme results for men (some men get all the sex they want; others get nothing) whereas women mostly get as much sex as they want.

I have thought about the current sexual market like this for a long time. Any market that is completely deregulated will end up with, at best, an 80/20 distribution of market goods. This can be great for the advantaged and lucky, but is usually really bad for everyone else.

It's really ironic that ultra left wing social justice warriors aren't more readily aware of this in a sexual context, as they harp on this for literally every other market.

This doesn't get "solved" until a couple decades from now when tissue engineering let's everybody look like a 10/10 for a price. Even then it'll morph into simply a have vs have - nots issue.
