A good person is really fucking evil. Think about it, imagine you want to be a good husband to your wife. You have to understand female nature, regulate her emotions and give her not what she wants, but what you understand she needs. And give her a good life. If she ever found out the thought process that goes into her head she would be aghast and horrified, she would never ever trust you. But you don't tell her, you let her live in la la land and she will slurp your load with the ferocity of a cow milk pump.
A good businessman who takes cares of his employees and is good for the community has by definition vanquished all his enemies. He is here because he killed his rivals, he fired the ingrates in the office, bribed the politicians he needed to bribe, lied to the suppliers he needed to delay payments to and made it work. He covered up the crimes for his retarded employees cause accidents are envitably going to happen, and litigiously destroyed any threats.

The Matrix is a system, Neo. That system is our enemy. But when you're inside, you look around, what do you see? Businessmen, teachers, lawyers, carpenters. The very minds of the people we are trying to save. But until we do, these people are still a part of that system and that makes them our enemy. You have to understand, most of these people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured, so hopelessly dependent on the system, that they will fight to protect it.
