So I've been trying a new tactic on girls who don't text back after a first date to create a sense of takeaway. I almost always send a 'had fun, lets do it again soon' text within 24 hours of a date to set up an informal next date. If a girl responds within 24 hours I'll text back in a few days to set something up. If they don't text back in 24 hours of mine the success rate for me has been very low for their being a 2nd date. Recently I've tried unmatching the girl after 24 hours of no response after a first date and the 3 girls I've tried it with all of them texted me back pretty shortly after. 1 to set up another date and the other 2 politely said no thanks which I appreciated a lot more than ghosting. I feel like this gives a sense of takeway without being needy or butthurt, but I need to expriment with it a bit further. Anyone else try this or have any thoughts on it?
