Some phone calls I get from date potentials basically result in her just chatting my ear out.
I can overtake and generally chime in and steer the convo, but I think the chattiness is because of nervousness or excitement. This in itself shouldn't be a bad thing and I think the more the person talks, the better she feels or the better the convo is. But I'm looking for someone who can at least balance a convo.
The chit chattiness can be annoying, especially when she just doesn't know when to stop or literally chew my ear out. Am I being too serious or am I losing the convo? Why are some women generally just over chatty? I notice this too with leads I get who are a little below average because of course an average chic nowadays can be seen or feels to be 8/10 but this is for another topic.. What can we say when she just gets overly chatty?

It's a good sign and you should let them talk but have that happen in person and lead the conversation to subjects that interests you.

You could say " Let' s continue our conversation face to face" and set the date.
"Am I being too serious or am I losing the convo?"
Don't overthink, talk less and listen more.
"Why are some women generally just over chatty?"
That's how they "open up", women like to talk men like to take action.
