The next post in my dissection of BRONZE AGE MINDSET. For this post, we'll be looking at end of Part Two/beginning of Part Three, and talking about the nature of Power as the only thing that is real.
My favorite thing about watching the Harry Potter left (I am vomit) lose their collective shit over J.K. Rowling coming out as totally, fully, lady-balls to the motherfucking wall anti-trans is how simple the explanation, that they seem to entirely miss the point on and use fake terms like "transphobe" to slander her, actually is. Like many things whne trying to understand life- the explanation is simple and hiding in plain site!
Rowling is an honest Feminist, even if she cannot verbalize this honesty, per se. On some level, Rowling understands that Feminism is power intended for women- it was never an argument about right or wrong, or a philosophy with any actual cohesion. Feminism is simply a power-grab for women.
The stupidity of this, and why women- who do have many gifts and talents- are not suited for grand-scale, social leadership, is that they are understanding their in-group to exclude men, who will always be a necessary part of the full equation for the happiness of either sex. Imagine favoring upper-body so much that you not only miss leg days, but take a sledgehammer to your legs! This is what women do not understand when they destroy the men of their tribe.
Rowling understands this about Feminism, and isn't about to allow men in dresses to disrupt a movement that she understands on some level as group preference for women. Any leftist going on about trying to understand Rowling's motivations beyond this are fucking r-word.
Only power is real. This is especially true in a democracy, where groups must organize with one another to defeat the enemy. Saul Alinsky understood this when he wrote "Rules for Radicals" and called it community organizing- a nomenclature for using collective interests to activate voting blocks, while demonizing those outside the group. This book will make clear the strategy that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and every new Democrat will use to attempt to win elections- this is their strategy to power.
Trump took a different route to power- and this is why his campaign resonated so much in 2016 (and a lot less since, but that is another issue). BAP says:
"Trump, who seems not to care, and to find joy in this flouting and energy in this outrageous loosening- he seduces." (116)
Like with their total misunderstanding of the Rowling issue, THE LEFT DID NOT UNDERSTAND TRUMP'S ASCENT TO POWER. It was so simple! It was hiding in plain site! It isn't rocket science! In a time of unprecedented social repression, where young men are humiliated, tamed & neutered as a way to crush their spirit in the name of "modern civilization" (107), Trump reveled in his total freedom from this repression. This is why he became president. In a world of spineless and pathetic politicians (116)- so much that it is practically taught in school that all politicians are liars- Trump presented an unapologetic self that resonated as authentic to his voter base. Trump understood that masculinity at its purest is freedom, and freedom is power... and, of course, unabashedly embracing power produces results.
Even if Trump didn't exactly deliver on his promises (or maybe you think he did? This is not a political post), in his 2016 campaign, he made you believe that he would be a headstrong, confident, masculine leader who would defy all odds and become the only rogue politician we are ever likely to see- and because he understood that the embrace of personal power was so unlike anything we've ever seen before in our modern, ultra repressed culture, he won.
For Part Three of BRONZE AGE MINDSET, BAP will discuss how one should change their mindset to embrace POWER, even in the face of a toxic society.

Freedom is not power, a slave can be free and not have the power to resist getting put back in chains.
Power is ones ability to control. Either being cunning or having big ass biceps.
Money provides self-sufficiency however that's Independence not freedom. It would be considered power if you used it to buy people.
Us humans are slaves to many things.
Freedom is light, fulfillment is heavy; we must chose the weight we carry.
I rather be committed to my purpose than to have ultimate freedom.

“Freedom to act” and not forced to self-repress is power.
[deleted] 5y ago
Both of the things you stated require self-control. Key word being control.
Knowing when to hit the brakes and hit the gas.

Freedom is not power but power is freedom. The one in charge can do as they like. Humans are slaves because the confuse having the ability to do something with actually doing it. By tricking the populace into believing that they have actual choices in what they do, they remain dormant and docile, and easier to control.

Freedom is power. Power to walk away from frivolous conversations and do something worth while. Replacing shit with quality is all the freedom you need, and we all have it.
[deleted] 5y ago
Agreed. People need to learn and develop there own power.
Which in hand creates freedom. One might be "Red-pilled" however lack in power and still be in the matrix. Or in Plato's case still in the cave.

I saw a post on Twitter today that said "2+2=4 is only that way because of our Western way of thinking. We think of it as the only way of knowing." Literally a month a go I would've said there is an objective truth. That power is not the only thing. I believe at list in counting! And sadly, that is already gone. Only power is real. Let's get jacked and get this money.

Math is based on truth every human agrees upon. How is that western if everyone speaks the same truth? How does your reply make any sense?
awakenedspirit1 5y ago
That's exactly what I'm saying. If numbers aren't "real" we're in trouble...
goingrandomgod 5y ago
We are in trouble only if the truth everything is based on in math is false. However I still do not understand how math has any relation to power(social, political) or why you used this example?

I don't understand why you call these "Bronze Age Mindset" dissections when it's a single quote from the book and then 7 unrelated paragraphs of your own opinion
LastRevision 5y ago
I’m not trying to create a substitute for reading the book, more of a reaction series of my own while maintaining the theme of the work.
Jowemaha 5y ago
What you say here is so minimally related to the book, it doesn't belong in the title and it shouldn't be called a dissection. I can put a single quote from some work that I like in my post -- nothing wrong with that. But if it's just a single quote, then you just briefly quote it and move on.

Nothing that isn't real exists. If it exists, it is real. Whether or not something is real is not a measure of its usefulness in any particular application.
