Although the Age of Majority in most countries is 18, there has been a general trend in the U.S. by statists to push the age at which they feel people are responsible enough to legally do certain things upwards, usually to age 21. 18-20 year olds can’t buy a handgun for self-defense (despite being a fundamental human right),
can’t buy alcohol anymore, can’t buy drugs like marijuana or even tobacco in some states, can’t gamble (except on the lottery), can’t adopt a child, etc.

The only time this has never been and likely never will be the case is when it is directly detrimental to the government’s ability to collect revenue and/or expand its own power. Ironically, 18-20 year olds still have to register for the selective service (men only, of course), can join the military where they are far more likely to use handguns to kill people, and are allowed to gamble in state lotteries. Despite having no representation in government, adolescents under 18 still have to pay taxes and can also be tried as adults in court.

This trend will continue push the legal age of more “undesirable behaviors” upwards, in the never ending moral crusade that statists have against your Liberty.

The Age of Majority in most countries coincides approximately with when the average male reaches sexual maturity. Although sexual maturity defines physical adulthood, it does not take mental maturity/adulthood into consideration. Studies have shown that the average person’s brain isn’t fully developed until age 25. One could make a very compelling argument that the average person does not reach “true” adulthood until that point, and thus the Age of Majority should be raised to 25.

In fact, it won’t be long until statists latch onto this and begin to make this exact argument. Feminists in particular will argue that since 18-24 year olds are not fully mentally developed, they are still children and therefore must be protected from 25+ year old adults. Since our government is controlled by ignorant voters who continue to elect a corrupt two-party system where the conservative politicians are always operating within the liberal frame, leftists will certainly succeed one day in implementing this in the name of “progress”. Sure, there will be Romeo and Juliet laws that allow for a 4-5 year age difference, but otherwise it will become illegal for ~30+ year olds to have sex with 18-24 year olds.

This will not affect women nearly as much as it will affect men. As you know, 18-24 is when the average woman is at her peak SMV, whereas the average man doesn’t hit his peak SMV potential until his mid to late 30s. Wall-approaching and post-wall women won’t have to worry about competition from their 18-24 year old counterparts for the peak SMV men anymore. They can spend their peak SMV years riding the CC with 18-29 year old males, then once it’s time to hop off and settle down, they get the peak SMV men all to themselves. The Feminine Imperative is inherently anti-competitive.

Blue Pill culture will evolve to the point where if a 30+ year old man so much as expresses desire to have sex with an 18-24 year old female, he will be derided as a sexual predator, perhaps even (erroneously) as a pedophile. Of course the law will not stop 18-24 year old women from soliciting 30+ year old alphas for sex. It is only when she is unable to obtain his commitment that she will have a team of white knight orbiters go after him, or she will simply go to the police and he will be convicted of statutory rape. She will not be portrayed as a predator by the mainstream media or by the government, but rather as an innocent victim who was taken advantage of by a predator.

You won’t see much of that happening with the genders flipped though, because the average 30+ year old woman is not nearly as interested in the 18-24 year old crowd as the average 30+ year old man is. The ones who are will simply get the pussypass if anything ever comes of it. Either way, a disproportionate amount of men (“sexual predators”) will be incarcerated.

Being that their only legal option is post-CC, post-wall women, many men over 30 who manage to avoid jail will abandon LTR’s altogether, contributing further to the breakdown of the family unit. But for the Feminine Imperative, the pros of raising the age of consent to age 25 far outweigh the cons. Mentally prepare yourself for it and enjoy the decline.
