“Hamstering” is a well known concept around here that explain how women are trying to put some rationality back in their actions when they think about it.

I would like to elaborate more on this topic, since I have the feeling people have only a surface understanding of this concept, don’t know how powerful this tool can be and how they can use it.

Explanation of the concept

Men and women both virtually have two brains: the headbrain (HB) and the penis/vaginabrain (PB / VB).

The HB is the rational part of the human being. Marvel of the human kingdom, it’s the HB that put the humans where they are today. It allows us to have complex thinking process, to invent machines, medicine, buildings and arts. The HB cannot function without rationality, and it will rationalise every thought going through it. Male and female HB are equally powerful on average, with difference between individuals.

The PB/VB is the animal part of the human being. It is our instinct, our sense of self-preservation. It is also more powerful than the HB, to different extent depending on the individual. Some people are able to keep their PB/VB in check for longer than others. But in the end, the PB/VB ALWAYS wins.

HB is the one managing the everyday tasks, leading the woman in her life. And it is doing so for as long as VB allows it. VB is working more in the background, guiding discreetly the women toward its goals.

Nonetheless, VB will take control from HB if HB is frustrating him for a long period of time or if a second state is reached ( i.e alcohol / drug usage).

The vaginabrain as the dominator of women

For men, life is easy. HB and PB usually say the same thing: FUCK HER RIGHT IN THE PUSSY. For women, it is a lot more complicated.

VB pretty much says the same as PB, but their HB thinks about the social consequences, the risk, the dangers, the rumours, … of doing it. A well-known consequence of this is LMR, where VB led the woman all the way to your apartment but HB, in a last resistance attempt, will put barrier between the woman and the sex.

Also, HB and VB desires are sometimes completely opposed.

The best illustration of this struggle would be this one:

> HB wants feminism and equality, while VB wants being submitted and rough sex.

> HB want security and respect, but VB want rape and strong men (don’t rape women, it’s bad m’kay).

This often puts women in difficult positions where they don’t understand what they did last night, or how they could have sex with this sexy guy when she has such a great life with her husband.

It is also why they came to your apartment, choked on your dick and then accused you of rape: because HB can’t fathom another rational explanation for what just happened. You obviously forced her in some way, because she would never do that. HB never wanted to come to your apartment and choke on your dick, but VB did it anyway. Be careful with that in a society where women are not accountable for sex.

The vaginabrain as the ally of men

Once you know the existence of HB and VB, you will be able to learn how to use them as your advantage.

VB is your best friend, it wants to fuck you. So you should discuss with it, not with the frigid HB.And that’s why you don’t:

> Ask the girl if she want to come to your place.

> Ask the girl if she likes buttstuff.

> Ask the girl anything, really.

You don’t formulate what you want, because answering it calls for female cognitive functions which are in the HB kingdom. You want to completely avoid this guy.

That's also why you don’t listen to what she says (HB talking), but only pay attention to what she does (VB doing).

Regularly occurring example:

Her: “I never fuck on the first date”

Me: “Ok, let’s go to my apartment”

Her: “Ok”

And we fuck 15 minutes later.

HB said “I don’t fuck…”, but VB led her in my apartment. (Thanks dude)

Discussing with VB is actually quite simple, and you do that by following general advices already given on this sub:

> Touch the girl (kino)

> Give excuse to go to your place (plausible deniability)

And that’s it really. The discussion during the date is only there to entertain HB, so it does not cockblock.

Conclusion TL/DR:

Avoid HB, he’s a dick.

EDIT:

Guys, don't misinterpret what I'm writing here. HB matters, especially if you want to have a real connection with the girl. You just need to understand when he is piloting the girl and when he is not.

But don't discard everything related to HB.

If you want more scientific ground to it, there an excelent book on how human think: Thinking fast and slow by Daniel Kahneman. He got a nobel price for his researchs.

There isn't actually a rational brain and sexual brain. There is a way to think rationnally that is hard and costly and that is able to reason. This is tedious, you can't do it for long, it consume lot of sugar in your blood and it capacity is still quite limited.

And there the instinctive way to think. This way of thinking is automatic. It is on by default, it is free, you can use it for hours and it the one that deal with your habits. It ways of thinking is extremely powerful, but it is taking shortcut. It routinely make error. That's the brain that allow you to drive (once your are experienced) without thinking about it, that allows you to recognize faces, walk and all.

The rational brain is OFF by default. Men and Women alike live most of their life with their rational brain switched off. Because it is tiring and uncomfortable and costly to use the rational brain. People are irrational by default. Not rational. The rational brain think it has command but it is wrong. The instinctive brain has command and only delegate to the rational brain when necessary or something fishy is going on.

That's why you escalate slowly, that why you provide possible deniability. That's why you need to keep it fun and respond the right way to shit tests. You don't want the rational brain to take back control, think that you are not that pretty anyway, trying to get her to sex, that she shall not do that because you are not worth it. You want the instinctive brain to just delight in the great discusion, in the seduction, the kino and then the sex. And because all was so natural and smooth, because it just hapenned but there was no threat o ranything funny, there was no reason to trigger the rational brain.

That's also why when you fail, you let it go and escalate again later, trying to see if that time you pass unoticed by the rational brain or that rational brain even agree that it is ok.

Don't hesistate to read the book it is extremely interresting. It is not at all centered on how women think, but all humans and all the deficiencies that come with the default instinctive mode. How we get tricked, how to try to avoid it. How to analyse how we think.

Super awesome pointer to Daniel Kahneman, don't know how I missed him up till now, given that I've been building the same and/or extremely similar conclusions in my own decades long analysis of how we think. EG, I wouldn't say the rational brain is fully off by default, but instead that it's idling by default, and many of the things the instinct brain gets it to do are merely making excuses for what the instinct brain already decided, ie adding seemingly plausible stories in words, for what is already being done and/or happening. And that means that even though the rational brain is working a bit, it often isn't doing the kind of honestly rational work we wish for.

I say it takes a lot of deliberate practice / exercise, based on sound and realistic understanding of how our brains work, if we hope to do substantially better with our rational brains. And given the general plasticity of our brains, I strongly suspect we can train the monkey brain to do significantly better than its default might have been. I would even say that much of the work in this sub is actually aimed at trying to do that, in one form or another.

One of the hardest challenges in all this, as I see it, is overcoming our profound ignorance about how our own minds work. It's challenging because our cultures generally provide garbage and ignorance instead of anything like realistic practical working knowledge, and that isn't helped by the simple fact that any realistic knowledge is both nearly brand new for humanity, and is also often fairly complex and even counter-intuitive. And often embarrassing to the monkey. People don't want to admit we're monkeys, doing monkey shit, and their mis-estimate that monkey shit would be stupid or simple roadblocks a proper appreciation for the amazing sophistication and complexity actually at play. Silly babbling monkeys we. I could go on for hours thinking about this shit, but I'll stop here for now. Cheers :)

That's what learning is. At the begining when you do something new you have no idea how to do, your rational brain kick of like when you learn to drive. You have to conciously do everything and it is tiring, and you don't do it so well.

After some time it become automatic, you don't need to think about it, your brain learned it and you do it for free in term of thinking cost.

Don't think the instinctive brain is less powerful. It is more powerful than the rational brain. But you have to first make it learn before to leverage it.

Basically all the learning & training you do is this, making something that was hard and complicated and needed concious effort into something and automatic. And then once something is mastered, you can go to learn the next thing.

Have no fear, the only question in my mind is whether the instinct brain is 85% or 95% of what our brains do, even though it's largely not something we can directly perceive with our piddling little word-brain, because the structures of it evolved long through the tree of mammals, long before babbling brain was sprinkled on top. It's also not the right kind of thing for us to easily conceive in words, it's not just simple linear monkey puzzles, because it works in parallel and branching trees, instead of linear narrative series like our word stories that have to fit through our one mouth.

I think the key is this: even though it is far bigger, it is now evolved to be shot-through with "hooks" that can potentially trigger a little smidgen of rational thought to happen. If that rational thought is skillfully connected to carefully constructed rational networks, that know what is happening, then a glimmer of self awareness of the monkey within becomes possible, and a person gains the chance to inject rational thought into the blend of what's going on.

Finally, it helps when the rational mind has a realistic picture, instead of fairy tales. It does a person no good if they think of nothing but unicorns and angels all day, completely oblivious to the donkeys and monkeys working right under their own noses. Especially if we hope to sensibly intervene with and direct the work. And of course if all you can imagine is angels and unicorns, you won't see anything but a blur when all there is to actually see is donkeys and monkeys, but you don't know how to focus on them, or hear their grunts and sighs.

Be careful to not automatically discard everything HB related. He still matters in the equation. If you please only HB or only VB, your relationship won't last. From my experience, once the HB knows you're trouble, he'll keep an eye on you. Depending on how much control this woman has on her VB, banging her again will be between impossible and complex.

Short answer : no

Long answer: they're engaged, not married, and she's shown several signs of doubt in her relationship, not just by opening up to me. From my own experience (which I may be projecting too harshly) I fear that she will commit into an unfulfilling relationship out of fear, guilt and other horrible motivators and both of them will end up miserable in the end. Apart from that, there is the sliver of hope that, if they break up, I have a shot with her and I'm suffering from severe oneitis for her atm. The latter is why I said it would be easier if she hated me, so I could move on.
