So that's what it was. She was just insecure about her tits. I didn't think much of her confession then, probably because she looked great naked, fake tits and all.

Looking back now and reading a post on ask trp about why a girl would lie about having cancer, I see this is what women do.

It's a form of comfort / shit test. She claims she is a patient, an abuse and/or rape victim, a damsel in distress, or probably just a nut case like many women. She's looking for your sympathy (attention/orbiting), protection (white-knighting), resources (beta bucks), and commitment (LTR/marriage). You're not to blame for this terrible secret tragedy that came upon her, but she's making you responsible for it now.

Don't fall for it.

The moral is that OP was starting to have feelings for a woman. And he rationalize by saying that sharing something intimate is a "woman trap" designed to make her look vulnerable and urge you to provide commitment and resources to her.

Because you know, genuinely having chemistry with someone doesn't exist, there must be some scheme or manipulatipn somewhere.

I think this is an ideal example of what you're talking about. I would hazard to say this is our poster showing inexperience that this was even noteworthy to him. All women have some sort of "secret" or "tragedy" that they will confide in you when they start feeling comfortable with you and this wouldn't even be a 1 on my 10 scale for shit I've heard from girls.
