I was watching Davis M.J. Aurini's archives today, and stumbled upon some videos that I figured was very relevant.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBFsaA2-hSs
Highlights: In this one, near the end, he talks about how MRAs are essentially going to end up being useful idiots to big government advocates and socialists (Doctor Illusion and many others does not like MRAs because so many are socialist, in fact). In Canada, there was legislation passed to guarantee equal parenting time between mothers and fathers. Basically, this means an entirely new bureaucratic engine to enforce these regulations, therefore, more power and taxes to an already bloated state that takes the rights of people hand over fist. Through MRA rhetoric, the state grows, and can further destroy the family unit. MRAs become the new useful idiots because feminism has been exhausted of all use. He also points out how gay marriage shall be useful for this same purpose.

You fundamentally misunderstand the MRM, or are deliberately trying to mislead the more Libertarian minded folks away from the one group that agrees very strongly with them. There are quite a few leftist MRAs, that injected themselves primarily in through Reddit, but have gotten hold of AVfM to some degree as well. But the MRM as a whiole, it's aims and it's goals, are wholly Constitutional in nature.
You know, equality of opportunity, not outcome. The natural path to this is the exact opposite of what you and Aurini claim - namely, the dismantling of the nanny state, and the restoration of individual rights and freedoms.
This opposition to fundamental Marxist principles causes all sorts of weird reactions.
Like, for example, shills who attempt to insert bullshit divisions where none exist.

good video.
or was?
It would be interesting to observe the MRA horse being mounted by governments instead of feminism at some point, it would confirm a lot of suspicions I have had.

What kind of suspicions?
