I think it more, women like men who fight for a cause. People admire ideas most of all. You mentioned Bruce Wayne. The character of Batman is a good example of this. The Batman represents the idea of fear. Because he represents the idea of fear, the common crooks run from him. If they understood he was merely a "Man fighting with his inner demons" they would fear him less. In real life, we too admire Batman, but for a different reason. Our reason is because he stands for something greater than ourselves. For me, I look up to him because he represents the idea of life devotion to one's cause. Whatever it is, simply convey that what you devote your life to is your greatest passion and then the women will follow.
