Just want to share an interesting story with you all.
Visited my folks this past weekend just to see how they're doing. My mother, bless her heart, is a great woman and a great mother but loves her tabloid magazine too much, they were just everywhere in the living room.
I got curious, picked up a random magazine and casually read the cover page out load: "Mr. Moneybag gives a million dollar mansion to his new girlfriend to celebrate their anniversary."
My mother immediately chimed in, "Isn't she lucky? She dated Mr. Pop Singer for years and had never received any expensive gift from him, he's such a scrooge. But Mr. Moneybag is different, he's treating her right, don't you think?"
Without skipping a beat, I said "Yeah, but if I'm Mr. Pop Singer, you'd praise me for being smart with my money, whereas if I'm Mr. Moneybag, you'd slap me in the head for wasting my money."
It doesn't happen often, but when you point out people's cognitive dissonance, you can often see it on their face when their brain freezes; that's exactly what happened to my mother, she was trying to work through her hypergamy conflicting with her maternal instinct, and come up with an explanation for what she said.
It was kinda funny to watch her tried to come up with a response. After a few seconds, I can tell she has nothing so she just dropped the subject and walk into the kitchen.

Entertaining...a unique sort of a post.
frankreyes 6y ago
My sister best female friend was dating the son of a rich businessman who operates a very large business. And when they broke up, my sister was complaining that the guy would never give her friend any gift, not even a perfume. What a douche!
WholesomeAwesome 6y ago
heh atleast yours has maternal instinct. Mine is either naive or more loyal to women than to her child. It's the latter. She gives me some of this bp crap it's so funny it's bad.

There's a reason why the friend zone is called the plantation.
Don't get "planted".
[deleted] 6y ago
This title would definitely work for the European refugee crisis too.
Entropy-7 6y ago
Long comment, but maybe a good - if infuriating - read.
My step-mother is prime hypergamy/maternal material. My parents got divorced when I was young and my mother specifically chose to not divorce-rape him. (According to my mother, her lawyer said she could have taken the house and reams of child support and alimony and totally screwed dad, but instead took a buy out for half the equity in the house, little if any alimony and a sub-par child support agreement - certainly by today's standards.)
Enter step mom who was several years younger, but not ridiculously so. She wanted her own baby so my half-brother is 16 years younger. She never had a real career; my dad was at the top of his profession and consistently made 6-figures.
Plus, dad managed my grandfather's affairs. Grandpa was blue collar but he had a modest post-war house and a pension and some other investments that dad probably worked into a cool million.
For his own part, dad kept the house in one of the best parts of town and it ended up worth close to a million. He also acquired two other properties plus land on the east coast.
At age 65 he wrapped up his professional practice and prepared for retirement.
Then out of the blue he is diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer and - two operations and 3 months later - her dies.
I don't know all the details but apparently his will left everything to my step-mother, and if I had to guess it might be close to $5 million.
The kicker comes afterwards.
My father had fronted my sister the downpayment on a home near his (otherwise her and her husband could not afford it) so, ostensibly, he could be close to his grand-daughter. He was on title and there was some sort of loan agreement drawn up but he told my sister that it was zero-interest and they could pay it down as the refinanced the mortgage (the property value doubled over the course of a few years) and that if he died that the loan would be written off as a portion of her inheritance. The other thing he told her was that his intention was to give everything to my step mother and then for whatever was left to be split 4 ways: me, my two sisters, and my half brother.
Unfortunately, he never put any of this in writing and it seems he never gave any legal effect to his intentions. So he dies abruptly and step-mom becomes a millionaire.
She then insists on getting back the downpayment loan on my sister's house. At first she tried to claim half the equity in the house, which would have been almost double the amount of the loan. Sis was going through a divorce and they sold the house, paid step mom the loan, and then her and hubby split the remaining equity.
Step mom sells the family home for about $800k. It could have been worth a million but it was poorly maintained and she wanted to dump it. Somebody bought it up as a tear-down and build a 3000 square foot monster home.
A while after, step mom announces that she intends to leave everything to my half-brother (and while not saying this directly, cutting me, my sisters and my nieces out of the will). She even had the gall to ask my sister to be her executor, a role traditionally reserved for people who are not beneficiaries under a will.
So to summarize, she bags a divorcee at the top of his career, has a kid with him, takes all his money (and his father's money) when he dies, and then decides to give it all to her only child and nothing to her now-dead husband's three other children and two grandchildren.
If there is a lesson to be learned it is that you can't trust women to do the right thing when you are alive, so you certainly can'tr trust them once you are dead.
If you are getting married or having children or both, then get your legal affairs in order with whatever combination of legacies, trusts and such so your (ex)wife/widow can get by but not at the expense of you, your future, or the future of your kids.
Gozsayin 6y ago
Dude if this story is true I would be furious. Not to stomped on your dad but why didn't he set something up for his kids
Entropy-7 6y ago
Totally true. Dad usually had his shit wired tight but he totally dropped the ball on this.
The point is that he trusted a woman to do the right thing. Bad choice.
CursingWhileNursing 6y ago
I had a similar kind of discussion with a couple of my female co-workers.
One of them was watching a YT video about that US athlete (I think it was a footballer) who knocked out his wife, after she threw a tandrum and continually attacked him on several occasions before that one "lights out" punch.
When I arrived, they immediately turned towards me and wanted my confirmation. You never hit a women, right? "Well, I would think it depends." I've said. Big, marveled eyes. No way, I just have not said that.
So I've explained to them that we now live in a society that wants absolute equality for both men and woman. In every regard. If a man attacks me, I will defend myself. And based on the premise of eqality, this is also true for women.
But... but... you never hit a woman. Again, I've said, it depends. I would always try to mitigate the situation first. But if everything else fails and a woman keeps hitting me, hurting me and even risks to physically harm me, if a certain threshold has passed, I will hit her back.
But... but... women are the weaker sex! Well, I have met more than one women who was physically very fit and into martial arts and who could easily mob the floor with me. Am I still the "stronger sex" in this case? Which, as I could see, already gave them a headache.
Then I gave them my last argument. "See, even when we assume all men are physically stronger by definition... If men are not allowed to hit a women, if men are not even allowed to /defend/ themselfes in case a woman attacks them, does that not technically make /woman/ the stronger sex? Because a woman hitting me would be like someone beating a person that is constrained and physically not able to defend himself. What does this say about the woman who hits a vulnerable and defenseless person? Would she /really/ deserve such leniency? Does /he/ not deserve justice? It's basically tyranny you are talking about."
There was a sudden silence that lasted for almost 20 seconds. All I could see was blank, utterly uncomprehending looks. Which was a really funny view, because one of them has a broad face with a massive underbite. She literally looked like a bulldog trying to figure out where his favourite toy went. I almost expected her to start drooling.
"Well..." bulldog girl finished the discussion "You still simply do not hit women." That was their way to solve the contraries. By utterly ignoring them and then happily return to their flawed premise.
WholesomeAwesome 6y ago
I always think of conflicts sometimes as solved by arguments, but not the writing and soundwave arguments. Actual arguments. It works at the group level best.
CursingWhileNursing 6y ago
Sorry, german here. What exactly is a "soundwave argument"?
WholesomeAwesome 6y ago
arguments transmitted by way of speech.
[deleted] 6y ago
The femreptiles hit whomever their suits their interest to it, just non-physically, since they evolved to see as reprehensible, and avoid, the kind of confrontation that would have them be defeated.
To compensate, they specialized in guile, trickery, deceit and self-deception.
I wonder if the day will come all their sorts of violence will be seen for what they are by the average person — and therefore they would have to quit using them to their advantage ALL THE TIME as they are doing, more and more by the day (currently, all their types of violence are being encouraged and endorsed by society).
CursingWhileNursing 6y ago
Yes, women love to use other people to get what they want. And they are good in convincing other people to get them what they want. Murder by proxy, for instance, is quite common for women.
[deleted] 6y ago
Admittedly, they mostly specialize in psychological and non-physical violence/exploitation though.
BewareTheOldMan 6y ago
...laughing as I read this - I'm surprised they didn't pass out from all the logic you were dispensing on why domestic abuse is a no-win for both genders.
They had a very difficult time processing the rationale. You lost a lot of cool points with your sensible, common sense, and rational explanation.
How dare you?
CursingWhileNursing 6y ago
Well, by now I have lost a lot more than some cool points. I don't want to write the same thing twice, but JF0909 made a very sensible comment on my post and in my answer to this, if you want to read it, I explain why that is.
JF0909 is right, I was stepping on very thin ice with my arguments, because "sense and logic" do not matter anymore. The only thing that counts nowadays are the feelz of anyone who is not an old, white, heterosexual cis-man. Sounds bitter? That is because I am.
Apart from this, love your username!
NorthEasternNomad 6y ago
Difficulty processing rational explanations for undesirable but sound reasoning is basically what women DO...to be fair.
Half-biT 6y ago
if women want equal rights than they must also expect equal lefts.
[deleted]
JF0909 6y ago
Your logic is sound, but you're treading on dangerous ground having that conversation in a workplace settings. One of those women could easily go to HR claiming you were advocating for violence against women.
frankreyes 6y ago
Ha, you reminded me about this quote:
https://medium.com/@HBCompass/men-warn-me-about-things-women-help-me-7457ca6b2583
EvolvedA 6y ago
Well at least he could have done better. I totally agree on what u/CursingWhileNursing wrote but the dangerous thing is not what he said but how he explained it. Women have a hard time to comprehend logic, especiall when that logic contradicts their agenda. What he should have done is to explain this in womanese (as Pook would say), describing how the felt in this situation, being harassed by that woman and how he feelz in that situation. Feelz over reelz.
Also, for them this whole conversation is not about answering a philosophical/ethical question but rather about maximizing what they are feeling in that situation, the feeling of "injustice" of a man hitting back, anger, and compassion for the perceived victim.
So my theory is that if you can make them feel "more" with your side of the story they will be on your side.
[deleted] 6y ago
[from the Treatise of Love]
Women are more subject to herd instinct and authorities because majority is usually more often right on average than minority, and authority is a person supported by majority. Also it is possible to mention a higher than men's sexual corporate solidarity among women for as long as it does not contradict the personal interests.
Proceed accordingly, and think ten times before deluding yourself into any hope they can be, think, and act morally.
CursingWhileNursing 6y ago
I totally agree with you. And I think that your advice is invaluable, I will definitely remember that. My particular problem might be that I am an Aspergers' and thus, have a lot of problems when it comes to "teh feelz" anyway.
Of course I do have feelings myself and in fact, I often have problems to deal with my own emotions; because I have problems integrating them. But in my world, that is even more reason to be suspicious of what my feelings are telling me and to be rational.
I tend to see things much more rational than other people. Which might be a reason, for instance, why I seem to be immune against things like religion or why things like communism just look so utterly ridiculous to me. I see all the contradictions, the whole thing just makes no sense to me. My threshold for bullshit is incredibly low.
In the situation mentioned in my post I did actually see the whole discussion in a completely rational point of view. I was not trying to be smug or to prove by any means that I am right. It is just the way my brain works - I've assessed the statement, the gears in my brain began to rattle and parts started falling in place.
In this regard, I am as ill-suited to this age of "feelz over facts" as a person can be. I don't understand it. Often I don't even realise that I am walking right into a trap. And I sure as hell can not fake it.
So I've learned the hard way that the best thing for me to do is to bite my tongue and to shut up.
CursingWhileNursing 6y ago
Sigh. I know. And no, I don't have such conversations at work anymore. In fact, I refuse to say anything that even slightly resembles a personal opinion. I am a burned child now, because I actually do have a disciplinatory warning in my file. One more of these before the last one gets deleted (usually after two years) means immediate termination of my work contract.
No, this had nothing to do with this event, but yes, the same could have happened after this. A female co-worker who had a beef with me ripped 8 words out of a multi-sentenced statement and anonymously denounced me for "hatespeech". (I have a very good idea who it was, though and why she did it.)
What happened next was a fucking drumhead trial. No right to defend myself, no consideration of my point of view, no right to put things in context. For fucks sake, my spinelss asshole of a boss even told me that no, in context those words would be no hatespeech (and even if they would have been, even this statement would not have been against the law in any way or form, but merely an opinion), but since she supposedly felt that this was hatespeech, I still had to be punished. He even held a little speech about how things will change for people like me here in Germany in the future.
To be honest, I am scared shitless right now. And I am heartbroken. Because now I know that anything can and will be used against me. I know that "due process" is a matter of the past. That stupid cunt wanted to hurt me and made my boss her personal cucked little man-whore and he was all too happy to do her bidding.
Fuck, the whole situation at my workplace is a mess anyway. I mean, it is not just since #MeToo raised its ugly head that men were thrown under the bus for false allegiations of harassment. And yet I was scared shitless for years, because my employer forced me to use one tiny, cramped 4x5 m locker room with up to 12 female nurses at the same time. I was complaining about this for years, I was so afraid and worried. But no single fuck was given.
And now I am scared, since I am the only male nurse in my department, 50% of my patients are female, I often work alone with a female co-worker and quite often we come physically close when taking care for patients in need of intensive care. And my employers have already shown that they are all too willing to throw me under the PC train for wild claims made by female co-workers.
So no, this will not happen anymore. I have become a bloody silent movie. I was always known as the funny guy who cares for everyone, who tries to make his co-workers happy. I was always the guy who brought cookies for his co-workers and and made everyone smile and laugh with silly jokes.
And they are wondering, because I am not like this anymore. I come to work. I do my work. I answer when I am asked something. And that's it. And my co-workers wonder what happened to me. Well, make an educated guess...
sulfurclay_1127 6y ago
Hmmmmmm you seem real scared
CursingWhileNursing 6y ago
That is because I am. Everything you say can be used against you.
It's like someone had asked me about my profession, I answer "Ich arbeite in einem Heilberuf. // I work in a medical profession." and the other persons deliberately only hears the "heil" part and claims I am a nazi. It is ridiculous.
I grew up in the GDR and to be honest, Germany today feels exactly the same.
sulfurclay_1127 6y ago
Well, I can't speak for Germany as a nation. I don't live there.
Everything CAN be used against you. Especially at work. Work is like this twilight zone where you absolutely almost never can act like yourself. It is terrible. Something small can turn into a whole HR intervention.
CursingWhileNursing 6y ago
And this is one of the signs you live in a totalitarian system. Authorities handing out draconian punishment for minor misbehaviour or, even better, for things that are not even violating any laws, rules or standards. Utter arbitrariness. And dividing society by completely reversing those "standards" for certain groups, who can then can show any form of misbehaviour without having to fear any form of punishment.
Welcome to the post-democratic society.
Planner_Hammish 6y ago
I hear you man; same thing at my workplace. I don't try to make friends anymore and I keep RP to myself. One of the women actually lamented recently that "I used to be so fun and outgoing at work". All I said was "yeah, the change is intentional".
CursingWhileNursing 6y ago
In a way, this even can be fun. Our physiotherapist makes misandric jokes and comments every. bloody. time she comes to my ward, i.e. almost on a daily basis. I used to be annoyed by this, but my new; better Cucked Me® agrees with her every time.
And although I am really bad in reading people, I am under the impression that for some strange reason she seems really pissed about this.

You know, my favorite cognitive dissonance quip is to point out... "if women make less than men, then why aren't businesses lowering costs and only hiring women?"
If I could grow a business with capable women that cost 20% less than men, I'd be a fool not to.
frankreyes 6y ago
This is basically the argument that proves that gender pay gap is myth.
hdosnxbjdjeb 6y ago
Lol the best way to get these kind of reactions is to ask a really well worded question or make a good statement
E.g. If a girl says fat girls are beautiful or that guys should like bigger women, and I feel like I want to mess with her, I'll disagree.
Obviously she'll argue her point.
Then I'll say something like "would you date someone shorter than you"
Her "uhh no"
Me "Then why is it that a girl won't look at a guy shorter than her, something the guy has no control over, but wants the guy to go for the fat girl, something she could solve easily by not eating like a hippo and going to the gym once a week?"
Face = priceless
I've never actually asked other guys but I feel like most dudes won't actually make a statement like that for the fear of being shit on by the group. Even though it's a completely valid argument.
Rhynocobear 6y ago
I do it. Can confirm, group tries to shit on you. Probably shouldnt have said it in a uni tutorial. Tutor loved it though.
ThrowFader 6y ago
Why are you guys still trying to use logic on women?

Haha factory setting turbo hamster. On second thought tho, I think it’s really this culture that rewards their shitty behavior and doesn’t keep their rampant bullshit in check, that sends the hamster into turbo drive. So by the time theyre out of high school the hamster is already running in sixth gear on the reg.
[deleted] 6y ago
Yes, that's the booster of course.
Culture and cultural programming used to be about keeping in check, and countering, lowly human instincts.
Now female lowliness is encouraged, promoted, applauded. And, boy, it's not going to stop until the damaged party does not push back.
(Of course, the females themselves have no awareness of their dishonesty. It's not instinctive to be aware of it, and it would be one of culture's task to "teach" it.)

My mother always asks me when I am going to settle down, find a girlfriend and get married and have kids(she is at the age of being a grandma).
I always throw her the same set of questions; Did you have a successful marriage? No. Are your parents happy? No. Are our close cousins and relatives happy in their marriages? No.
She is left speechless every time.
FlamingAmmosexual 6y ago
Same here.
I always point out all the women my age she works with that are train wrecks. One girl went on vacation and dumped her kids with her mother so she could go party in Cancún for a week. I then ask her, knowing how women my age are, why she'd want me to marry one of them and risk being taken to divorce court to get half my stuff taken. Silence.
Gozsayin 6y ago
This is exactly why one of the few alpha lessons( and only sadly) I learnt when young was to never marry before 30 (now it's feels like I may never marry at all)
Rhynocobear 6y ago
I did that with my grandma. "How many successful relationships do you know of"
She lists people she knows who are in a relationship. I systematically point out most of those are not successful/stable. We end up at 3. Of all the people we know, and all the relationships we've seen people in...
And i ask if she would gamble her future on those odds, where winner takes all and you always lose.

The same paradox as when your wife complains about how her sister-in-law treats her brother when, as your wife, she will treat you the same way!!!
Stryker9110 6y ago
Reminds me of my mother. I have a half sister who is currently dating a bloopie in San Francisco. The guy makes 3X what my sister makes, pays the rent, pays for constant trips throughout the year, praises my half sister constantly while she dominates the relationship and punishes him if he does or says anything “wrong”, and is putting a down payment for a $1.3 million dollar home for the both of them in SF without any help from my half sister.
My mom was praising this guy one day and I asked the simple question... “Mom, if I were my sisters boyfriend would you want me to be with her?”. My mom scrunched her face, thought about it for a solid 5 seconds then replied “heelll no!”
The cognitive dissonance is strong.
[deleted]
[deleted] 6y ago
That guy feels he has to pay to have a woman. And countless others do. It's no more complicated than that.
Rhynocobear 6y ago
Could also be that she is happy for the sister who has something nice going for her, tribal theory. But AWALT, so who knows.
Venny_1 6y ago
What's nice going for the daughter is that she has found herself a rich simp.
The daugher has secured a herself the beta qualities she is looking for in a man, which is why the mother is happy. But if her son is to be taken advantage of like that, aka be a simp himself, then she would be devasted. She instinctively follows both hypergamy and maternal defense, even when their cores colide with each other in this example.

A while back, an ex made some claims against me and I had to go to court to defend myself.
I told my mother, and she reflexively said 'uh, women do that when they are hurt' then she caught herself and stopped.
I could see the 'team vagina' vs 'maternal instinct' cause her to freeze.
Needless to say, I was already steeped in the red pill back then so I just inwardly chuckled.
As far as the court case went, the mendacious cunt folded when she met my lawyer.
Good times.
FlamingAmmosexual 6y ago
It's sad though that mothers will defend women they don't even know over their own son or at least they're conflicted about it when the choice should be obvious who to side with.
TDG0922 6y ago
That cuts both ways though.
I've always been of the thought that when you finally see your own mother is not immune to the teachings of the Red Pill, then you've truly internalised it.
Reformed65 6y ago
It's hilarious to see this, and I often feel confused when these freezes happen.
I remember when a girl in class, on the topic of fathers, pointed out how men will often use women for their sexual pleasures but they wouldn't like it if their daughters get used as well, everyone had the expression "Hmmmm she's right!"
And then I thought "Dumbo, obvs because why would the man care about other women he shares no blood with? He cares about his own daughter so he's going to ensure she doesn't get used."
It's like saying "Men are willing to kill men of the opposing side, but they wouldn't like it if their men got killed." duh! FUCKING DUH! "Ohhhh sorry Stacy, you're so clever I'm going to tuck mah BALLS in and ensure I ain't no use any women CAUSE I wouldn't like it if my daughter GOT USED."

Yeap, girls think it's okay to drag an orbiter along by giving him a slight interest so he doesn't lose hope, but when a guy does the same thing by keeping her in the "fuck buddy zone", she will be upset.
Furthermore, a girl will tell you that she doesn't "owe" anybody and doesn't have to reply to guys' texts. However, if a guy drops her from the "fuck buddy zone" to strangers status or acquaintance status, she will get fired up and super upset.
Hypocritical? Not self-aware of themselves? Try calling out on all BS...make their hamster go wild.
AwkwardEmpath 6y ago
I really enjoy the term hamster.. shit like your last sentence really gives me a good laugh. Even funnier I see that in the woman's redpill subbredit they even refer to it as a hamster, that shit is hilarious. Wouldn't you find it a bit demeaning as a female?
[deleted] 6y ago
They are perfect adaptive machines. "Adaptive" is kinda of the reverse of "identical" and then "identity".
In other words, psychological and "moral" (and sentimental!) fluidity. What's more adaptive than a liquid? On the other hand, it has no form, no identity.
Of course, culture tells that females (and all "liquid" folks) have an identity, and have integrity.
pmmedenver 6y ago
The sexiest realization a man can have is "just because you're upset doesn't necessarily mean I did anything wrong." People are so used to living in a world where everyone's interests always align that when competing interests come into play they get lost and confused.
Sexual relationships are a fantastic example of a situation where you have two competing interests. The man wants to fuck the woman as fast and easy as possible, and the woman wants to disqualify the man. As long as each side fights for their interests and the titans are equally matched, the relationship is healthy. If one side is too strong and the other too weak then the stronger side takes advantage of the weaker.

'Hey, that's some nice awareness you've got there! It'd be a shame if it were too low to realize itself."

All women love being in the fuck zone because it's empowering and good for feminism because it frees her of dependency on a male.

Teenagers - even responsible ones - often lack sufficient maturity to achieve this level of self awareness.
I swear, that Most Responsible Teenager theory REALLY explains a LOT.

I'm convinced that all maturity is is a greater understanding and appreciation of value. A pretty girl by default has a warped sense of value as she passively has it starting at puberty and so never matures a bit until hitting the wall. That's when they realize they had value all those years for an explicit reason and with that ship having sailed she has the potential to mature if she isn't delusional.

Wow. Hypergamy turned against the mother instinct. Maybe this could lead somewhere...

I have soon to be teenage daughters. I am a bit hesitant what advice to give them. They should settle with stable but boring guy, or get their heart broken with exciting man. For the time being, I show them mommy gets best of both worlds since she is hot and pleasant.

The biggest sluts have the weakest father. The father sets the threshold for manliness and value of a man that her future partners will be, thus the more masculine a father without being controlling, the less slutty the daughter. Girls before puberty will undergo a phasee or phases were they crush on their father, every girls first crush is their own father (if present) I believe this is an evolutionary mechanism that sets the bar of minmum required masculinity for the girl in later life.
Just a theory of mine, anecdotal evidence is overwhelming though

The guy doesn't have to be BP, could be a blue leaning purple pill. She needs to know what to look for, and try to stay fit year after year so she ages healthily and beautifully.
