Are you poor? It's all your fault.
Are you living paycheck to paycheck? It's all your fault.
Are you working in a dead end job? It's all your fault.
Are you fat? It's all your fault.
Are you skinny? It's all your fault.
Are you too tired from work to hit the gym? It's all your fault.
Are you bad at making conversation? It's all your fault.
Are you lonely after breakup/moving away/new job? It's all your fault.
Are you (insert whatever excuses). YES, it's all your fault.
Unless you were born with some form of physical disability or mental retardation, everything that's currently wrong with your life is your fault. Does it make you feel better? Of course not, but does it mean you can make changes? Hell yeah, motherfucker.
Are you poor? Go back to school to upgrade yourself.
Are you living paycheck to paycheck? Learn to save your money and stop buying useless toys.
Are you working in a dead end job? Go back to school to upgrade yourself.
Are you fat? Put down the fork, and go lift.
Are you skinny? Lift and eat.
Are you too tired from work to hit the gym? Stop spending hours on Netflix/video games/porn.
Are you bad at making conversation? Watch standups and learn how to banter.
Are you lonely after breakup/moving away/new job? Go out there and meet people.
We are men, and us men have the burden of performance; sitting at home and blaming the world is the domain of women and beta faggots. Instead of wallowing in your own misery, ask yourself this, "what can I do today to better myself?" Find your answer, then go out there and do it.

Fuck you....I needed to hear this.
WhorehouseVet 6y ago
You're welcome, good to have it reach another person.
Canarlottle 7y ago
Shit, this hits home really hard for me. I used to blame a lot of people and outside factors for being a general failure, but the first step to improve yourself is to take accountability for everything. Seriously, even if it is definitely not your fault that you are short, or that you were born poor or have a shitty disease. Remember this quote when the temptation to blame anything but yourself creeps into your mind: It may not be my fault, but it's my problem. Does wonders when applied consistently.
wendysNO1wcheese 7y ago
Please don’t watch stand-ups to learn how to talk to people. We don’t need wanna-be comedians walking around. If you already aren’t funny, trying to be will make people despise you.
Also, going back to school isn’t always the answer. So the person should go into more debt? Should the person take less hours at his job while he goes to school? All these things are a little more intertwined and complicated than OP makes them out to be. The overall notion rings true though.
ZombieJesusOG 7y ago
Student loans are a bet on yourself and if you have a skill gap the best way to fix it is training and/or higher education. Don't take a dumb gamble actually research what you are getting into and the wages you can expect and do a pros and cons of taking that chance. Also don't jump on the first opportunity that some terrible for profit college offers weigh the cost and time required against other programs. So yes taking a gamble on yourself can be positive largely as long as you don't make a suckers bet (like paying a vocational school 20k plus for a skill that isn't in demand and results in a couple of bucks over minimum wage). I work in economic development and I often advise people against taking high priced trainings that aren't worth the effort and cost, but so many people want an easy fix they will go into debt because it sounds like the right move. You can save yourself that date by doing your own research using easily found tools like state by state labor market information.
thelandofdreams 7y ago
Whether or not shit is ACTUALLY your fault, your attitude should always be: "What can I do to fix it."
victor_knight 7y ago
Well, yeah, but some things you really can't fix so the logical thing is learning to accept it rather than let it stress you out.

my heart goes out to all the guys who got shit on by fate. Those people being short, tiny dick, or fucked up faces. they can still have successful lives and even leave a lasting mark on the world ( look at that steven hawking mother fucker) but let's be be real..... These poor fuckers are doomed when it comes to getting to know how it feels to bang a 10 that actually wants them. (steven hawking will be remembered for a long time but there was never a line of super models waiting to hop on his dick)
they will never get to experience that no matter what they do and it's totally not their fault and I feel really bad for them. So how about we stop with dimissive responses and do what red pill should do and stop hamstering away the cold truth that some guys are just fucked.
Isdogatree 7y ago
TRP is one of the few places where you know that the sympathies are genuine.
[deleted] 7y ago
Don't. Men seem to work best by conflict. We have that innate nobility in bearing up, under a heavy load.
If you want a hug box, go find your mother. The truly fucked, and average wasted guy both have the same issue, they want something to pin up their responsabilities to live a productive, happy life. They want to pin it up on something out of their control, so they can wallow in their own lack of worth, just to point at something external, and call it the 'bad guy'. They do this while they wait around for a saviour to come in and save them from their life of drudgery.
It's a decent strategy for women, since men love saving chicks from their own stupidity. For men? You'll be despised for not dying already.
Want the best part? That thing you talk about doesn't even exist. There are no 10s in life. None. There are no 9s either, I'd argue theres no 8s even. Most women are 4-6, and between makeup, surgery, age, social status, and other external factors, they temporarily get bumped up for a time.
The thing you start to develop (at least I and a few other endorsed here have) is that they really aren't that different, they aren't that special, and the worship (which you do in your post, in a roundabout way) is largely undeserved.
No, "Steven" is missing out on banging HB6s, and either you're using him to project your own insecurities, or you're belittling other men, by your 'heart going out' to them, as if the are some poor abused puppy.
Sorry, world doesn't work like that. you eat what you kill, if you can't hunt bison because you don't have a spear? Guess you better get a taste for rabbit, and get building.

you can do everything OP is saying and still see the world for what it is at the same time no?
You can constantly improve yourself and do what you can and at the same time know life isn't fair. All my original comment was saying was men are not created equal and it sucks. I wasn't saying OP was wrong, just his view was narrow for dismissing the guys comment by making a small dick comment to him.
PaperStreetVilla 7y ago
I'm not here to discuss
[deleted] 7y ago
I'm not your 'dude'
It's called a foundation, and until men are born with 4 legs, and 3 eyes, it's going to be true to the vast majority of men.
If you're at a point where you're doing the work, putting in the effort, building a strong mental image of self, can you, as Jordan Peterson puts it:
And if you're at that point, and theres certain things you cannot overcome, I mean objectively? Then you can either let them go, or build a new framework.
Until that point, you're jerking off your ego, to justify not being uncomfortable (which work is, I'm sure your mom told you)
Either way,
100% of men will achieve results with what other men have put into the manosphere
I don't give 2 shits if it's true, it's useful... and thats good enough. I'll naval gaze about truth when I have a good life, and don't have to worry about never getting laid, or financial freedom being a pipe dream.
Life is as complex, or as simple as you want to make it. Crawl before you walk, because the idiot bitching about walking has no concept of it
holybad 7y ago
never said you were 'my' dude, bub.
I feel like you are so gun ho about setting a plan and acting on it you forget red pill is a metaphor for opening ones eyes and seeing the world for what it is. You are trying to slap blinders on the sides of your eyes and only focus on what you deem important and ignore all other facts which is fine but some of us are at a point in our lives when we are content with where we are and are starting to 'naval gaze' at truth and develop a more clear view of the world.
what I'm saying is dont shit on someone's views just because they dont fit you current frame of mind.
you being all 'eat what you kill' is ignoring that we dont live in the wild anymore and that there are always conditions and context to everyone's circumstances that need to be observed to have a complete view of the world we live in.
[deleted] 7y ago
Its a metaphor, and so far the only views im shitting on are argument for the sake of it, and some weird rp version of NAWALT
Go bother someone else with your pity party, men are here to do work
holybad 7y ago
you'll never be more than a sub human grunt with that mentality. theres no thought or observation involved, for example i never said anything supporting NAWALT but you slapped it on me because im challenging you therefore i must be the enemy right?
[deleted] 7y ago
So, for the poor neanderthal, explain your point?
That some men (not you, but your cheerleading for them poor bastards) are fucked? We aren't talking about the 'not six foot and handsome' fucked, but 'i dont have a dick' level fucked.
Of course, you don't really suggest a way out, You just want a bro hug, where we acknowledged your --- Oops, I mean those 'others' you advocate for -- feelings.
And your only problem is being thought of as bad --- Oops again, I mean misinterpreted, sorry! --
Of course, you, in your ivory tower of enlightenment, don't really suggest what you -- OOps, they, I am bad at this, must be my caveman DNA-- do about it. Apparently, lifting, reading, learning game, developing a mindset of abundance, avoiding co dependent behavior, or validation seeking, and to become your own mental point of origin aren't able to work on those 'other guys' you want sympathy for.
And yes, I tested to see if you could take a little go bruising, of which you couldn't. Considering your first go to was sub-human grunt, I'm putting dollars-to-donuts that you're some slender, emasculated nu-male, who thinks (read:rationalizes) all his failures as successes, moving the goal posts until he finds that sweet spot, where his balls don't hurt upon self reflection of his life, and the uncomfort that comes with doing something about it.
So yeah, I am confident in dismissing you as having nothing to offer me, and your only value, is for me to take a few minutes, and use you as an illustrative example, so that others guys reading this can hope to avoid your shitty mentality, and shitty inaction, and hopefully get on the train that works for 99.999% of men.
Of course, the only conclusion for your 'men are fucked' line is to go suck on an exhaust pipe for a few minutes. Either give up, or don't, but this whiney, complaining fence-sitting is bullshit. You're more than welcome to see me on my twitter feed, read my blog, and come to your own conclusions. I'm not hiding, I live what I talk about. Too bad the "ubermench" ^(The quotes mean I'm calling you the oppositte) in front of me can't aspire to such noble aims.
TLDR; fuck off faggot, you're not a threat, you're a cautionary example
vengefully_yours 7y ago
Additionally. Life does not reward hard work nor effort. Life rewards effectiveness and getting results. You can bust your ass all day doing meaningless shit and never go anywhere, put the effort and focus on shit that matters.
It's always your fault, even if you had nothing to do with it and you were not involved. Accept that fact. Why? Simple, because you will always be blamed for shit, even when you're not part of it. It's the flip side of this, the weak will always blame you. We don't play the blame game, rather we identify areas we can improve, build on, or exploit to our advantage in a focused effort to make our world better.
Who gives a rat fuck about what you're accused of by the weak? They do not matter. Fuck them.
StoicCrane 7y ago
It's all a measure of personal accountability. If Russia chooses to fire a missle and it blows up my house while I'm away at work there's no way imaginable where that's my fault by I'm completely accountable for finding housing elsewhere because it's my life and very, very few other people actually care about it.
Sometimes life gives you shit. Can hold onto it become infected and get sick or use it as fertlizer to plant something. It's hardly our circumstances but our personal decisions that leave a grandstanding impact.

jackandjill22 7y ago
Hm, good to see you around again.
P4_Brotagonist 7y ago
I think this is the MUCH more important part. The original post is great, but this is the main takeaway.
In the objective sense, it is NOT my fault that I became a schizophrenic, nor my fucked up heart. It is my parents' faults for having bad genes and passing that genetic lottery onto me. There is no shitting way I did anything for that to happen.
However, as your post says, it doesn't actually matter whether or not it's objectively my fault. All that matters is that because of my problems, the way I am is "my fault." I will always be blamed because "you didn't go out with me to town after your workout" because I had to take a nitro and pass out. I will never get sympathy for my problems, no matter how shitty they are. The only thing I can do is take my meds, work on my physical limitations, and keep pushing. Sitting and letting them get worse,or not taking meds, is absolutely my fault, but even when I don't do that, the consequences of my body in the eyes of others will ALWAYS be my fault.
thenathandaniels 7y ago
I'm a schizophrenic as well. Also have severe osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, and degenerative disc disease. I've been self-teaching myself music for the past ten years, and now I can more or less do any genre you can think of convincingly well. There is SOMETHING you can do that will give you a sense of purpose.
I have women, and people in general, that are legitimately in awe at the things I can do, and I've not been capable of working a day to day job since I was 20. (25 now). I know this isn't exactly on track with what the body of your response was about, but I just wanted to try and impart that there are people who relate to you.
lancer000 7y ago
A true man never complains... Complaining is for the weak & feminists (or both).
Rawrination 7y ago
But a true man isn't afraid to face problems and not just ignore them either.
[deleted] 7y ago
I'd say a true adult rarely complains. Some older women reach that level of stoicism, most don't.
[deleted] 7y ago
I think we're thinking about it in wrong terms. It's not your responsibility that you were born X, but it surely is your problem and concern.
scissor_me_timbers00 7y ago
I would flip the terms. It's not your fault. But it is your problem and responsibility.
P4_Brotagonist 7y ago
I agree with you 100%, however that's now how others and society see it. Not just women, but people in general almost always need blame somewhere, even when it's not anyone's "fault". What I mean is like this.
Say I have plans to go with a lady. She and I are close enough to know that I have a few problems with my health. Now let's say the day of, I have a really bad cardiac function and my chest is hurting and I feel tired and can barely move. I absolutely cannot go in that shape, or if I could, we would not enjoy our time together. Even though it's not my FAULT that I can't go, her mind cannot simply go "eh who cares," rather it's a cause and effect of "I wanted to have fun, but now I am not. I wasn't my fault, so it HAS to be his fault."
That is how blame and fault works. It sucks, and technically not my fault and I cannot change it, but I must work around it anyways.
xXaroundtheworldXx 7y ago
You have all my sympathy. You also are very Nietzsche-ey. Truth is irrelevant. Perception is everything in the human domain.
Rawrination 7y ago
Dude I can totally relate. Different health issues, but the end result of having to cancel plans is the same. For me its spine in juries and a few other things causing constant pain, that make me exhausted all the time no matter how much sleep I get.
I've been hanging on by a thread for a long time, but unless I want to end up dying in a ditch, I've gotta do things even when I don't feel up to them. To try and make my life work for the better.
On an unrelated note, Maybe invite the lady over to your place for a night in on the days when you've got plans but your body won't let you go out. If you are even up to just hanging out and watching a movie on the couch.
[deleted] 7y ago
Yeah, it's a rhetorical trick leading from fallaciously using the commutative property of mathematics to apply to language. It doesn't work in logic land in regards to language (unless terms are very precisely defined and kept consistent) because as you move around words you change the context and meaning of them.
CallMeHaseo 7y ago
sounds like cheating in math class isnt a bad idea...
RallyMech 7y ago
If the goal is to only pass that class, it's a great idea. If the goal is to learn the material and improve yourself, it's a terrible idea.
I bent and broke rules in college depending on my goals. Thermolysis system analysis? Cheated like mad. Machine design or advanced manufacturing techniques? Studied my ass off. I also used exceptions and social engineering to swap out history classes with foreign language.
CallMeHaseo 7y ago

WhorehouseVet 7y ago

Yeah, I don't know what the deal was, but when I initially came to the thread it did that thing where it loads and then shows up as deleted after a few seconds, so I got to read the first few lines and then it was gone.

I agree with the god complex thing.
However, saying "if you grow up with cancer / drug parents - that's not your fault" is equally as stupid.
Nobody thinks its your fault for being a crack baby!
That's an obvious retarded counterargument which misses and redirects the point of the statement of op.
Bowserhatessmash 7y ago
Except the very first thing he said is "Are you poor? Its all your fault"
Some people aren't equipped to give give advice. You and OP are those people. Go back and read more about life and actually talk to people.

Excellent rebuttal. OP on some of dat der irrationality.
[deleted] 7y ago

refusewool 7y ago
It's not your fault if you're short, bald, have some other genetic disadvantage or have been subject to many adverse situations outside of your control.
A better mantra would be "you are responsible for your response to everything."
Eg. Upset you're short? That's your fault. You should recognise you're short but not wallow in sadness about it. Instead, work on things within your control. Etc etc.
Casanova-Quinn 7y ago
Even better: "It's not about the cards you're dealt, but how you play the hand."
If you're short and bald, you can still be muscular and well dressed.
RedBikerMouse 7y ago
Yep. I agree with the underlying message (be responsible for the shit that goes down and you had no way to anticipate) rather than suggesting that shit like losing your job because the company closes or losing your bitch because hypergamy is a thing.
The "be responsible" focuses on steering your wheel in storms. The "it's your fault" implies that "it's your fault that there are storms that come by". If anything, response-able people do not assume that their stroke of good luck will be maintained, or that things will always go the way they predicted them, whether we're talking business deals or sex.
lancer000 7y ago
Why not become short, totally bald and have muslces? Look at Vin Diesel, Jason Statham & my favourite bald guy, Danny Devito (you can be a funny short guy & pick up all the babes)

aDrunkenWhaler 7y ago
^ This. Even on TRP and on a topic like this, people still complain instead of finding solutions to overcom life's challenges. Yes, leg lengthening is extreme, but if you suffer that much weigh in pros and cons and make a decision. Just stop bitching. Fixing your hair is easier than having a boob job.
bomi3ster 7y ago
I'd argue it IS your fault you are short. The only reason 5'8" is considered short by many is because so many men exist that are taller. If you simply eliminated the competition, you could make 5'8" tall. Now I don't recommend genociding all men that are taller than you to make a point, but I do argue that it is a problem that you CAN change.
Same with baldness.
[deleted] 7y ago
[deleted]
bomi3ster 7y ago
Well the general perception of what is considered short is changeable. Back in 100AD I'm sure 5'8" was tall as fuck.
You're saying it's out of your control. I'm saying you're not trying hard enough. If you're not training hard enough to destroy half the population, you're not trying as hard as you could be.
Anything is possible, even insane genocide based off height or hair.

This is a good post. I can't believe those blue pill losers are actually linking it like it's some sort of rape post or something. Fuck them, this is a helpful post. Thank you! Never good to blame others for issues easily in your control.
[deleted] 7y ago
It's not either/or.
Poverty has a multitude of causes, some that can be fixed by the individual and some that is completely out of the individual's control.
If you blame yourself for every single thing that is wrong with your life, you're going to have a hard time trusting yourself to fix the problems you do have.
[deleted] 7y ago

scissor_me_timbers00 7y ago
No it's not. OP uses incorrect term "your fault" which distorts the message.
[deleted] 7y ago
And instead of posting a better content in the comments, provide value, you chose to lash out, thinking you were clever and witty.
Op contributes, you value leech, OP wins.
scissor_me_timbers00 7y ago
Dude I didn't "lash out", or think I was "clever and witty". I just gave my $.02 on where I think OP was mistaken in his post.
[deleted] 7y ago
It's hard to children to get the point of these things sometimes. OP wasn't the most eloquant writer, and I do find it funny how viceral people react to the concept of life-ownership
WhorehouseVet 7y ago
Eloquent writing isn't my bailiwick. I prefer more direct and simple language; not everyone can write like Rollo or Illimitable Man.
I do find it funny that people are nitpicking instead of looking at the whole picture, it means they don't want to face the uncomfortable fact that we're all responsible for our lives, no matter how shitty it is. By nitpicking they can somehow absolve them of it, and live a somewhat comfortable, but ignorant life.
[deleted] 7y ago
Here
It's talked about in many spheres, and is a bit tangental to you point, but it hits the same chords
I wish I had saved it too. Rollo had another article, about how people evolved, not to understand reality, but to understand it only insofar as it was useful, the truth was tangental. With the two point together, it's a very easy roadmap to get to RP.
One doesn't come to RP to find truth, one comes here to find utility/strategy. While I know people take the Red pill matrix line a bit too far, in reality? You're learning how to thrive, and doing what you have to do to get there, you're not learning an objective view of the universe
WhorehouseVet 7y ago
How the world works isn't exactly what's been taught throughout our lives: study hard, get a job, marry your HS sweetheart, have 2.5 kids, live in a house with a white picket fence, and die of ripe old age.
When I found TRP, the cognitive dissonance was strong when it clashed with my programming. I believe it is the same with this post, people grew up thinking they're the victims of boomers, capitalism, helicopter parents, etc. It's often uncomfortable to be introspective, reflect on our experience, and find inner strength to change things we don't like about ourselves. It's a lot easier to cruise through life, following the path laid out by society, than to forge our own.
Romersk 7y ago
This. So much. I remember coming to terms with this a few years ago, after my ltr had ended and I felt like shit. Besides beating myself up for becoming a beta in my relationship and leading it to a slow and painful death. I realized that I was 100% responsible for everything going on in my life. Yes there are things that are out of your control, but you are 100% responsible for where you want to go and what you make of your situation. Was it a bitter pill to swallow? Yes, much like the Red pill. But it is freedom, and when you really internalize the fact that you are the master - you won't need external motivation. Because you are the captain, and if you dont take command of your ship, you will eventually go down with it.

What if you were born to a narcissistic mother who tried to destroy you before you were even born by destroying your personality, confidence and social skills.
[deleted] 7y ago
My mother did all that, plus was a junkie who ripped me away from everyone who loved me when I was 10. It took a while (and honestly the love of some great women) but at 44 I'm kicking ass, with a relatively newly minted mathematics degree, in great shape, three years into a solid career.
That cunt would have been 69 this year, but she's been dead for over 18 years. Good riddance.
So, what's your excuse again?
godmarck 7y ago
This was me. I got the fuck out and now I can even pass for a normal person :O
[deleted] 7y ago
Obviously not your fault. But it is your fault if you let it dictate your future
scissor_me_timbers00 7y ago
Yeah man, it's widespread and long running knowledge in the psychology of human development that mothers matter a lot to the development of their children. Especially before the age of 5-6. It's not totally deterministic, but you can spend decades digging yourself out of a developmental hole your mother put you in when you were little.
I had a third mental breakdown at age 26. At that point my mom admitted to me she tried to suffocate me w a pillow in my crib when I was 18 months old. Makes you wonder.

Letting go of resentment towards your parents is fucking hard as we are all hard wired to seek parental approval and acceptance. But it's likely to be the most valuable thing you can do as a man.
scissor_me_timbers00 7y ago
Uh or you can use resentment towards your parents to fuel you. If correctly channeled it's like rocket fuel.

School is an investment in yourself. Choose a career that will take you places and make you money, it's just a plus if you happen to enjoy it. If you're smart you may go to a trade school or community college. I went to a two year community college and will be making 80k in about 5 years of scheduled raises. I walked out with only 18k in debt.
holybad 7y ago
this whole school is a bad investment/ school isnt for everyone thing needs to fucking stop. Getting an education is ALWAYS a good investment.
It takes a person from an illiterate, uncultured, closed minded ape and turns them into a well rounded, critical thinking adult with skills in what ever area they decided to specialize in.
regardless of what that does directly for them in a career it exponentially increases their potential as a human being.
Burlaczech 7y ago
not everyone lives in the US. not all schools indebt you. and yes, it is better to go to school if you are poor, whole world wants it, you should as well. If you prefer to be illiterate unemployable person, then yes, you will be poor.

Definitely works. My brother went this route. Served 6 years in the Marines then paid his tuition in full. Now he's works in a hospital making IV bags for specific patients making a shit load of money. Least, that's how he explained it to me.

The red pill gives men the illusion that they have more control over their lives than they actually do.
laserdicks 7y ago
It's not your fault because you caused it. It's your fault because you're the one who has to fix it.
[deleted] 7y ago
The spirit of this post is true. However, in some situations where you have to trust others to complete something that you have absolutely no way of doing yourself its not your fault.
Ive had important papers going missing in the mail (post officies fault), my father refusing to file paperwork by law he was supposed to, and broke gamma landlords entering my apartments illegally after Ive thrown out garbage legally that prior tenants have left behind. In the last case you cant sue them for anything as they have no money and now your being forced to move again.
Women and society (blue pill males) dont see it that way and even expect you to help them if they fuck up. So your straddled with triple the stress. When one of these situations occurs, if its serious enough, I always remind the accuser or person who caused the issue that by their logic other people dont exist. Since I am a man and its all my fault then I dont need them and they dont exist. Or, I am a man therefore I control weather patterns.

My dad passed on mental illnesses to me. Is it really my fault?

Does anyone have advice for the tired after work thing. I've ran into this way too often. Does less of the netflix, video games and stuff provide more energy's or just more focus?
WhorehouseVet 7y ago
Maybe you're not eating enough, or low T, or just need to work it through until your body adapts. Million of answers really.

Some people are really fucking stupid and never get it though. And so they lack the capacity to make the changes they need, or ego gets in the way and they never grow since they can't handle any form of shame. Often both occur together. I agree with you that the first step is taking responsibility.
I've been, however, leaning toward the philosophy that none of us really have control over anything. Our brains lead the way and play tricks on us, i.e., free will. There is no self, only a culmination of your unique DNA and how it interacts with the environment.
In the end some of us luck out because we're smarter/better looking/etc, and thus live a relatively happy life with needs being met. High quality DNA= high confidence = high reproductive rates, we know this from the sexual dynamics most red pillers have studied.
Some people have low quality DNA however (or a DNA mismatch for their culture/time), and so this leads to unfulfilling unhappy lives.
Consider yourself lucky. None of this is "you". You most likely have no soul. That doesn't mean you aren't a superior, human male, however. Everything is relative.
Mrbasie 7y ago
Its all your fault until you are born in a village without electricity and good drinking portable water.. Sometimes some things aren't really your fault, your impression of it is
JudgeDoom69 7y ago
Typo? It's all your fault.
WhorehouseVet 7y ago
No, it's the patriarchy, I'm being oppressed by old white males to have those typos.
MLGCasey 7y ago
You're being oppressed? It's your fault you POS
anabolic92 7y ago
Am I bald? It's not my fault, and a lot of things regarding women are bad if you are bald.
thecajunone 7y ago
Shave head, grow beard, hit gym, full bad ass mode. I have a couple friends who fucking tear pussy up with shaved heads.
anabolic92 7y ago

I can relate to every bit of this. When I was younger (I'm 25 now) I used to blame everyone else, but it never got me anywhere. Now that I've busted my ass to become successful I've grown up and stop blaming everyone else, seeing all my issues a few years back were because of me. After realizing this it's been nothing but improvements because I see my errors and correct them.
Unfortunately it's like I've discovered a secret to success so whenever I try to coach people about this, I usually get negative responses. Whatever, no skin off my back.

That really isn't being triggered just common sense. Shit I was 99% sure you were joking, who barebacks a drug addict prostitute?
xXaroundtheworldXx 7y ago
No, it's not always your fault, but it's useful to think it is. Responisbility is a useful fiction that has an all too real effect on the way individuals act. No, it's not your fault. But innocence is a fact we can't afford to accept. We must delude ourselves into guilt and accept pain to (hopefully) grow into something else.
Oberyn_Reed 7y ago
The only thing in life that frustrates me is my infantile circumcision, and that's not my fault, nor can I do anything about it besides a lengthy restoration process.
The only reason it bothers me is because I can't blame myself for it.

Once you grasp this concept, it's very liberating. You're no longer a helpless victim. This was probably my biggest takeaway from Black Phillip (RIP).

The Royal families throughout the world, which claimed the divine right the rule over the common people, based on their bloodline... the Rockefellers and Rothschilds... sure they control the creation of money itself...
But we have the power in numbers alone.
butter_coffee 7y ago
I love this. There are people who say "Everything is my fault" and become a victim or like some kind of matyr overwhelmed by their feefee's Then there is the option to say "Everything is my fault- so I can change it and stop whining about it"

I have real difficulty putting on muscle. I can hit the gym, eat a lot and gain weight, but little of it will be muscle.
I'm still trying, but it's hard to distinguish how much of my fail is due to inefficiency in how I train and how much is due to genetics.
WhorehouseVet 7y ago
Find your TDEE and go from there. Also go get your testosterone level checked.
iopq 7y ago
I know exactly how much to eat to gain weight. I just don't gain much muscle, I gain fat. My test level is 620. That's average for my age.

I needed this kick in the ass today. Reddit & YouTube are pretty much the only places I ever get that.

You should have said:
Are you skinny? Pick up the fork, and go lift.

You should try being a therapist

Many people (not to say, the vast majority) still don't understand that if you have a problem, you need to find a solution. Simple as it is.
People generally ackowledge they have a problem, but they don't try to solve it.
pbgswd 7y ago
I know what the red pill is. Now I just have to own my shit and get on with it.
Pepe_Prime 7y ago
I needed this right now, thank you.
WhorehouseVet 7y ago
You're welcome. Grab life, take responsibility and stop being a victim, and aim high.
Burlaczech 7y ago
does that apply to pissing as well?
WhorehouseVet 7y ago
If you piss near a river infested with candiru, the answer is a resounding YES.
joeltrane 7y ago
I was almost inspired by this until "sitting at home and blaming the world is the domain of women and beta faggots." Are women and 'beta-faggots' incapable of self-improvement? Why is it necessary to shit on other people while improving yourself?
LettrWritr 7y ago
It's redpill. Don't expect sense.
merkucjo 7y ago
There is book by Louise hay about that
Star_Signs 7y ago
Personal accountability is so essential. I just need to take care not to take as an excuse to beat myself up over little things. I find myself being naturally biased towards being hypercritical of even small negative habits, which usually lowers my self esteem and leads to less positive change and less empowerment.
You are what you do. Your health is your fault. But you are also accountable for any positive things you do in your life. So don't forget to give equal praise for things you do well, and to aim for a healthy balance of critical self praise and critical self shamming.
