Puberty (i.e. sexual maturity) "happens between ages 10 and 14 for girls and ages 12 and 16 for boys." (1)
Boys also lag behind girls in the development of attention, language, and fine-motor skills. Bloomberg writes, "Boys typically develop fine-motor skills up to six years later than girls. And in the early years, boys tend to be unfairly compared with girls on that score." (2)
School is a feminine space. The National Education Association reports that men comprise 10% of elementary and 25% of middle school teachers nationwide. This number has steadily decreased since the 1970s, and is worth reflecting on before blindly dropping your boy off at public school.
Classrooms are lead by women and are designed to reward skills that girls develop at a much earlier age than boys. So is it any wonder that many boys get frustrated and start to underperform? I don't mean to propagate a victim-mentality here, but the numbers speak for themselves: women outperform men at every level of the education system. Not to mention:
"By the time they reach high school, nearly 20 percent of all American boys will be diagnosed with ADHD. Millions of those boys will be prescribed a powerful stimulant to 'normalize' them. A great many of those boys will suffer serious side effects from those drugs." (3)
This is outrageous. They are drugging us, Brave New World style. There is no way in hell 1/5th of the entire male population has this one mental disorder (and at 3 times the rate of women.) Sorry to sound alarmist, but I've been through the whole system, and they are simply drugging boys who can't sit still (behavioral psychologists wrote this was coming in the late 60s.)
We have scores of educational researchers of both genders saying that boys are falling behind in school. And the numbers show it: female undergraduates now outnumber male undergrads by 2 million people (56% to 44% respectively.) Where do those extra men go? Well, 93% of the nation's 2.2 million inmates are men...but I digress.
History of Public Education
OK, so your average young guy isn't going to wind up in jail, but given the above factors (developmental delay, nearly all female teachers, mass drugging, which leads to frustration and underperformance), even 'well-adjusted' young men will have a certain amount of psychic tension bubbling beneath the surface.
This tension would probably be there any ways, even without gender disparities in the classroom. People need to understand that the current system was developed in the early 20th century to train industrial workers as farming families moved to urban centers en masse. The system is not designed for your personal enlightenment or intellectual enrichment. This fact is extensively documented if you do some research.
You probably learned about Horace Mann (1785-1859) in history class; he was head of the Massachusetts State Board of Education and a Congressman who, more than any one else, was responsible for bringing universal public education to the United States. This development is often cited as a great advance in liberty and equality, but let's check the history. Wikipedia tells us:
American educators were fascinated by Prussian education trends...In 1843, Horace Mann traveled to Germany to investigate how the educational process worked. Upon his return to the United States, he lobbied heavily to have the ‘Prussian model’ adopted. Mann’s proposal became popular in the Whig Party, and in 1852 Governor Edward Everett of Massachusetts instituted a mandatory education bill based on the Prussian system. New York State quickly followed suit, and the system spread around the country. (4)
Wait, so the great equalizing force of public education, seemingly as American as apple pie, is actually Prussian? That seems odd, since students of history know that Prussia was a Spartan-like war machine bent on conquest. So what, exactly, were Prussians taught, and why was the American government so eager to emulate their system?
Famed educational theorist Thomas Alexander wrote in 1919:
The Prussian is to a large measure enslaved through the medium of his school…his learning instead of making him his own master forges the chain by which he is held in servitude…the whole scheme of Prussian elementary education is shaped with the express purpose of making ninety five out of every hundred citizens subservient to the ruling house and to the state. (5)
It all becomes glaringly obvious once you start to catch on. Is school mainly about learning - about becoming a truly educated and critical thinking person? No, of course not. American schools are also where you play sports, meet girls, join after-school clubs, and first learn about social hierarchy. Good grades can get you into college, but so can athletics and money/connections. "High School" is basically a centralized youth center, overseen by the government, that ranks and sorts kids.
This might be necessary, and there's no conspiracy here. But you should know that this is a reality of living in a modern, technological superpower. The masses must be mobilized, people can't just learn whatever they want when they want (that's inefficient.)
Students subconsciously know they are in bondage. Thus, they must be divided and turned against each other at every turn. Cliques and strict hierarchies form, and drug use proliferates (all in a place associated with learning!) Legendary 3-time New York City teacher of the year John Taylor Gatto writes,
Slowly I began to realize that the bells and the confinement, the crazy sequences, the age-segregation, the lack of privacy, the constant surveillance, and all the rest of national curriculum of schooling were designed exactly as if someone had set out to prevent children from learning how to think and act, to coax them into addiction and dependent behavior.
He's right on. Age-segregation is totally arbitrary. In 6th grade I was an average, perhaps even slightly below average math/science student, but I read college-level books on History. During our Revolutionary War segment, (much to my embarrassment) my teacher would often ask me to confirm/clarify facts during her lessons. That class was a total waste of time for me, every single day.
The bells also prevent learning, and are reminiscent of Pavlov's techniques to condition dogs. It's been proven that you can't actually learn if you are constantly interrupted 40 minutes into your work. I see this at my office - our meetings our all staggered throughout Monday, and even though they are relatively quick, people often say they can't get any real work done until Tuesday. In general, though, I find working in an office much easier than at school, since the rest of the week you can sit down and focus all day, instead of being shuffled around like cattle.
Rebellion
The aforementioned gender imbalance in education combined with the pressure of industrial (some say "Postmodern," whatever) society embed a desire to rebel in the youth. "Rebellion" and the "teenage years" are now inextricably linked, but it's important to understand that this isn't a constant throughout history. The teenage years (i.e. artificially extended childhood) are really a modern creation. Historically in this country you would start apprenticing at a trade, or working on a farm, at a very young age. This gave young men a sense of purpose and connection with adults in their community (instead of seeing them as overlords to rebel against.) Guys, George Washington led the attack that started the French-Indian War when he was twenty-two years old (i.e. the prime frat-boy age.) There are many other examples, but basically men's development has been severely stunted.
Any ways, this urge to rebel needs to be channeled into something other than actually organizing and taking action. This is where popular culture/music steps in and acts as a pressure-release valve. Black kids say "fuck the system" while listening to Hip-Hop. White kids say "fuck the system" and listen to The Rolling Stones.
Most popular music promotes a lifestyle that is not only depraved, but also completely unattainable for 99% of listeners. It's another way to make you a passive spectator, thinking that you are rebelling while consuming a packaged product pushed by multinational corporations. Theodore Adorno writes,
"Something is provided for all so that none may escape... Everybody must behave (as if spontaneously) in accordance with his previously determined and indexed level, and choose the category of mass product turned out for his type. Consumers appear as statistics on research organisation charts, and are divided by income groups into red, green, and blue areas; the technique is that used for any type of propaganda." (6)
I am not trying to be a grumpy Puritan wagging my finger at pop music. But just understand that there is nothing rebellious about taking drugs and watching other people perform. This actually strengthens the system.
College Lifestyle
Filled with impressionable youth, funded by wealthy interests and tax-exempt foundations, and staffed by left-leaning intellectuals, the modern college is an interesting project in social engineering.
The function and purpose of the American university has shifted so substantially in the past 50-60 years it's hard to even know where to begin. I don't have time to get into its whole history, but were currently seeing an odd fusion of the lingering Hippie-era mythos (i.e. college is the 'best time of your life' because you can escape from your parents and party) merged with the realities of a less prosperous era (high levels of income inequality, 70% of students graduate in debt, more competitive job market, etc.) Globalist themes (my college called us "Global students"), social justice warriors, and a mental health crisis also underlay the modern college landscape.
A word about partying: it's OK in moderation, but young men would be advised to drop the mythology surrounding it. You will not become a rock star, you are not a rebel, and you are being fleeced and indebted. This mythos only became mainstream last generation, and represents a totally illusory path towards freedom.
Conclusion
This system is not well suited for your average guy. It's simply not going to teach you the skills you need to thrive. However, don't fall for illusory rebellious outlets like drugs and social justice crusades. Become self-sufficient, educate yourself, and if necessary reevaluate your values. You may find your 85 year old grandpa is actually right about a lot of things.

Ok. Exactly ONE thing I love my parents for. Teachers recommended ADHD medications. Parents refused. I remember vividly, trying to go a single day without ending up in the kiddie equivalent of in-school suspension, isolated from other kids. In kindergarten, I'd think to myself: Today is the day, I'm going to be good and not end up there! Social workers showed up at my house. Told parents they'd consider legal processes to take me away if they didn't get me a psychiatrist and medications. My parents moved us out to the middle of nowhere with no jobs and no money. Bought a trailer on nothing but credit and 10% interest. I'll always love my parents for that if nothing else.
I was an outsider in that school. Most of my friends from back then are working in factories or in prison now. Raised myself by pretending I was a superhero in the woods, all alone. Now I do quite well for myself.
okkyle 8y ago
Man, your comment hit me. That was my exact situation, except I was raised by a single mom.
We were poor coming up, and like most single moms, mine was always busy, and over-stressed. The weight of raising three boys without a husband made her emotionally distant. I remember how she always seemed to be in such a bad mood, cold, at times so anxious that she seemed on the verge of a breakdown. She did some many things wrong and it's easy for me to look back now and resent her for all of the AWALT moments, but the biggest thing she did right was that she kept me and my brothers off of ADHD meds despite my teachers' constant insistence.
My mom was a hippy spiritual new agey type, and she was vehemently against Pharma. Looking back now, I believe her refusal to medicate us was more about her own vanity and maintenance of her self-image as crusader against Big Pharma. Whatever the reason, I have to respect her for doing what she did, and I have just have nothing but distain for all the fat, lazy, government teachers who just want to drug young boys so they can leave at 3:30 everyday without having to do an honest days' work.

I was in the exact same scenario in 3rd grade. Parents moved me out into bum fuck Egypt was the best thing that every happened to me. I use to hunt dinosaurs in the woods with the spear I crafted and charred from my pocket knife.
Being alone most of my childhood stunted me socially but the amount of time i was able to spend in my head and only able to figure stuff out on my own was well worth the social setback which of course I've been improving on since TRP.
On a personal level, did you or do you still feel slightly disconnected from your peers? I always find i relate to people 3-7 years older than me. I'd rather sit alone or work on myself/interests than spend it with my roommates who just bullshit and watch TV all day.

My mother tried to have me drugged. Thankfully she couldn't find a doctor to agree with her. I wasn't even half as active as other kids my age, she just wanted 100% compliance. Typical single mother.
le0pardd 8y ago
Yeah, I was also lucky. My parents (both med. Doctors) knew that there were long time studies showing investigating the long term effects, which were not looking good. They straight up just never let them test me, so there wouldn't even be a reason to drug me.
<rant> Also my old school straight up told me that i was too dumb for their school. They sent me to a psychiatrist to get me tested for iq. Came back being in the 98th percentile with the literal diagnosis: "Intelligent, but lazy".
After that the (female) head teacher would cite me to her office every fucking break to tell me how stupid I was(I answered by eating peperoni pizza with extra garlic in her office every day). They sent me to "tutoring"(more or less detention) wether or not i had homework until the evening(I just turned up 5 minutes before the official time was over). Got a formal fine(dont know how to translate it) for "not doing homework".
I had some neurotic(also female) teacher scream at me every single lesson for no reason(I just smiled at her and stayed calm) and had her favourite student(girl) "supervise" me. (strangely that girl was into me, but felt like i bullied her). I got another formal fine for "misbehaviour"
No one at my(also mostly female) class really noticed everything and were they were like "well, you must have done SOMETHING wrong!" and would avoid me at all costs.
(At this point I had already planned and partly prepared killing the 3 core people)
They were consistently giving me F's in all subjects, which magically improved when the knew I would move soon.
Then I moved, the head teacher had the audacity to cite me to her room one last time and tell me how she hopes the new school will be good for me and how she hopes I had a great time at her school and she hopes they have teached me good(again, unprecise translation). (I was seriously considering just stabbing her with her letter opener) I just told her watever.
Now at my current school techer look at me for confirmatoin. I normally am the one who get to answer when everyone else failed. Magically I still was not getting straight A's but only B+'s with the reasoning that i didnt look like I'd put in enough effort for them to be giving me an A but my participation and what I would say would be at A+ level(JUST GIVE ME A DAMN A THEN!). Last semester before A-levels I figured "what the hell.." and just told the teachers that I had put in a lot of effort that semester(i didn't). Suddently I'd get straight A's. Until a group of Girls went to complain how it was soooo unfair.
This education system really is fucking bullshit if you are not the average, well adjusted, attentive looking kid. I got fucked at every corner and still got through with good grades without even trying. In this system a C is the eqivalent of a goddamn participation trophy, yet a big portion of kids (guys and girls, but girls can get a good grade by just being there and not disrupting class) manage to barely get a D, because all they do is partying at night time and the sitting in the schools wasting tax money and oxygen at daytime... </rant>

Saiserit 8y ago
Maybe I will, but I believe the truth is right in front of everyone if they want to see it, complete the game of hide and seek. There is no supernatural mystical knowledge, it's all just looking at what you see happening to yourself, others, the environment and being 100% honest about what it means for your own actions.
I think what really triggered everything for me was an intense fascination with religion and existential issues which presented at approximately 8 years old. I figured if I couldn't be at peace with the nature of existence itself, the rest of living didn't matter very much. I read the entire bible cover to cover before I was 10, and promptly disposed of the filthy book of lies. Did the same with the koran and book of mormon, actually. That led me to eastern philosophy.
I'm still not completely at peace, but much more so than I was at 10. 10 year old me would say, "Holy shit! How did you do all that? Are you completely fucking insane?" I would reply: "It's only by admitting what we are that we can get what we want."

I'm glad they looked out for you in that sense. There are many issues I have with my fundamentalist Baptist parents, but one that makes me seethe more than most is the two or so years in elementary school my father threw Ritalin at me. He was always pushing ADHD and Oppositional Defiance Disorder.
It stuck with me, being told that something was wrong. As I grew older as a teenager he would constantly make references to me possibly becoming bipolar, like my mother.
I'm long past the point of that genetic link ever showing, but I feared it for years.
Fuck parents who do that to kids.
TaeTaeDS 8y ago
Bipolar is a mood disorder, as in you become manic and depressive in episodes. Nobody suggests that about a person if they really mean it and do nothing about it. It's not Borderline PD.
slow70 8y ago
I'm very familiar with bi-polar/manic depressive disorder. My mother has it. My father was the kind of prick to hold a grudge against her for something she couldn't change years after they split then imply that due to her genes, I might develop it too.
TaeTaeDS 8y ago
So you would know, yno, if your teacher legitimately said that she has no idea what the disorder is because it's episodic, not like Schizophrenia or BPD where it's instant switching between.

you're lucky. im 3 months from graduating, and my whole family insists i do so. thing is, im a few credits behind and i might have to stay another half fucking year in order to achieve my diploma. fuck this. i'm thinking if i don't graduate this year, i don't fucking care one single bit. i'm going to go live off the land on a commune in my province and get down to earth for a few years. get healthy, learn about myself and how to sustain myself as well as healing practices/home made teas to cure disease etc. i want to get away from all this ridiculousness. i can't wait. fuck the system, they've been shoving pills and terribly unhealthy food down my throat and useless information that never gets used into my head for TOO GOD DAMN LONG.
wimmyjales 8y ago
Here's why you should finish what you started, even if you think it's a waste of time and you can't see a net positive right now: You may very likely regret to some degree not finishing, but you will never regret it if you do get that diploma. Do what you want afterwards, but you should always follow through on every goal. No half measures.
RPmatrix 8y ago
no offence bro, but why do you take them or eat shit food? As to listening to "useless info that never gets used" are you talking about school?
Otherwise, that's fully your choice what you choose to believe.
I like the sound of your plan though, I hope it works out for you, at the very least it will be 'interesting' hehe!
Saiserit 8y ago
Yea... I tell kids to get a degree audit and/or credit transfer guarantee in writing before they start any kind of program. Moving goalposts is an incredibly shady practice but schools do it in order to keep leeching debt from the kid's future. Universities are the next "too big to fail." There is no way the current edu system is sustainable. The working/contributing population is absolutely going to be on the hook for billions of dollars of debt which the universities already spent on shinies and distributed to thousands of administrators. If I didn't know that 9 out of 10 U.S. college students were cowards with no sense of self-worth I'd expect rioting. I can't even imagine having crippling debt held over me for decade(s) in exchange for a piece of paper and promises unfulfilled. If I were in these crippled post-grad's situation I'd find a way to write off the debt even if it meant blowing my brains out on the steps of the admissions building. But there are few men like me. If something worth living for is worth dying for, what about something not worth dying for?
shadowq8 8y ago
God bless your parents. Also that is beyond surreal how aggressively the system wants you on meds.
LegendaryPeace 8y ago
I'm not saying there aren't some legitimate uses for Ritalin.
But in this case, I think the system was trying to drug him, more so than medicate him.

Good to hear a counterbalance to the story, even if the claimed push to medicate everyone it to believe. I come from a country that is conservative in medicating people so don't have first hand knowledge of it.
aazav 8y ago
Simply put if you really want to be motivated, but just can't always switch into super awesome motivated mode, well, this is one way that it is possible. These don't work for everyone, but it has for me and I'm much farther along the path of being the person I want to be because of it.

exactly. use it as a tool for getting what you want. decide yourself whether it's useful in a particular situation or not. don't just blindly follow someone else's word.

muktheduck 8y ago
As a psychologist with a particular interest in pharmacology, I'm routinely distressed by how much professors and textbooks push the status quo as gospel when it comes to medicine and drugs. I'd say 95% of students come out of these fields with deeply ingrained ideas on medicating conditions without really having put much thought into the physiology of what these drugs are doing.
Quite frankly, I think the issue lies in how easy it is to sue for malpractice. Practitioners are heavily incentivized to prescribe the "go to" in just about every situation - it protects them from legal action. They can lose their entire careers and wind up in prison for attempting something novel...but simply throwing Ritalin or an SSRI at a patient will safeguard them from any blame
TaeTaeDS 8y ago
Just curious. What do you think Ritalin, for example, is doing? Do you know what it does?
CQC3 8y ago
It is a shame, but from my limited understanding I guess there's just too many legal pitfalls and too much money involved in the pharmaceutical business for it to be corrected there. There's so much money in it that very powerful people are going to protect their interests there.
The onus will have to be on the people to wise up and figure out some more sensible ways to decide when they do and do not need medication.
Depression is an interesting one. I can say for sure that I was near chronically depressed for about the majority of my adolescence for a number of factors. However, I was always confident that my depression stemmed from circumstance and if could ever fix the root of the problem it would be fine--and I did eventually toughen myself up.
Then there are people who have legitimate chemical imbalances. Now, that's a bitch. Did these sort of people always exist, but through science and technology we can now understand what the problem is, whereas before they were considered crazies?
muktheduck 8y ago
I'd tend to agree with you - the incentives are too great for the industry to solve these issues on their own. Of course, I think that's the case for any industry; they're going to do what consistently makes the most money until social change makes those habits unprofitable.
As for depression...I think we're seeing rising rates of it nowadays in part because of awareness. Perception undoubtedly affects the chemical composition of your brain - hence the placebo effect. In the past, a reasonable percentage of those who would be depressed perhaps avoided the condition due to the concept of "depression" not existing at that time. Now that we can convince ourselves that we're depressed, it's much easier to fall into that psychological and physiological rut.
RPmatrix 8y ago
this is a very good point -- far too many people use "anxiety and/or depression" as a 'one size fits all' excuse for their personal failings, (projecting their "moods" on the world) and many drs are prepared to agree to Rx something, often an SSRI type drug to 'keep their customers satisfied'
And the thing about SSRI's is they have 'low abuse potential' and are a bitch to stop taking, so most people don't. I reckon there are hundreds of thousands of people who have continuously been on some type of SSRI 'anti-depressant' since they first came out in the 1990's!
Talk about FUBAR

It seems like a lot of cucks believe that drugs will solve all their problems. We're not at the level of medicine yet where we know how to manage side effects, fully understand drugs, etc. Most of the drugs on the market make it through the FDA and other checks through sheer influence as opposed to proper merits, unless they are outright harmful.
Case in point, unless it's something known to be easily treatable, rely more on self-discipline than medicine.

Drugs, alcohol, weed, video games, junk food, porn, being loose as a woman-- all drugs that they rely on to escape their shitty lives. As long as you're not morbidly obese as a young woman in the west, these things aren't a death sentence. For a young man they're a recipe for disaster-- no one cares about men in the same way; we are disposable, sink or swim.
ThePillIsRed 8y ago
I would also say living vicariously through others, especially sports and movies. Perfect way to stump the personal improvement of a young man, make him believe the victories of his team or the emotional high for whatever happens in Breaking Bad it's the best he can reach.
RPmatrix 8y ago
Yes, it's pretty fucked up bro, but the average 10yo boy or girl has yet to go looking for something to fill the emptiness they feel inside until the social narrative they've been taught to believe turns out to be a load of bullshit and they find themselves lost for an alternative! Many turned to gaming first!
actually, as Marx said, and I agree "religion is the opium of the masses" -- God bothering in the US is the case in point!
To begin with, indoctrinate a young boy into believing they'll go blind if they touch their dicks and that they should worship the ground women walk on, whilst teaching the young girls to be 'pure and chaste' so they can"get a good man and marry him" so she can
have sexbreed. Lucky him, "happy wife, happpy life" hehe! The myriad of perverse 'teachings' being spouted by self appointed 'appointees of gawd' to the young minds of kids who've been dumbed down by an 'educational system' (OP's comment about the Pavlovian nature of school is bang on, it's designed to teach the kids how to follow orders, 'jump' when the bell rings!) is frightening when you consider the Bullshit being fed to these kids! They make the Gospel according to Uncle Walt seem like respected scientific information!
The effect these legions of self-righteous ignorant 'christians', in the US is downright scary! The Westbro wackos were just one of the more vocal groups, whereas the Latter Day Saints aka Mormons are just as fucked up, but as it's been around much longer, it has the 'credibility' of familiarity, with most people thinking the guys in white shirts who knock on your door are harmless.
Not so. Those guys are fully brainwashed, damaged worse than by any drug! The 'average' Bishop is a dangerous guy! His priests are not far behind!
To think 'highly respected' and influential people are prominent members of the Church of Scientology blows my mind. I don't know why but most people in my country thing the Scientologists are a nut job wacko cult
No wonder the kids schkitz out and don't pay attention at school;
They intuitively know they're being told a load of shit and they want no part of it. And here's the rub. Talk about wanting to 'help young boys' in the US and there's the chance your ex will use it as "proof" you're a pedophile! You can talk about "helping the kids" BUT ffs don't lay a finger on them actually doing it! --- what I'm talking about is the ridiculous obsession with 'inappropriate touching' in the US, where giving a kid a pat on the head get can you charged with assault!
These problems start much earlier than school, and are reinforced by spineless conservative BP conformists. Fortunately not everyone lives in the US and "the lawd" isn't some 'gawd given right' to believe Bullshit and teach their kids the same!
That's the root of many of the problems, as these stunted kids grow up to be the Marco Rubio's of this world, while the atheist kid grew up to be another Trump

It's also easy to talk about something you have no clue about. Besides many people that take Prozac and don't actually need it, there in fact are people with real depression (or other mental illnesses) which is a real illness which can be measured just like cancer.
Ridiculing it and saying it's the persons own fault is ridiculous. Just like saying gay people should have stronger will and they would not be gay or lefties shouldn't be pussy and write with their right hand. Depression actually has a genetic component which makes it clear it's a physiological illness ("problem with the biochemistry"). In fact it's stupid to have this differentiation of "normal" illness and mental illness.
Stop fucking spreading idiotic myths. There are many new guys here and for some of them getting help and medication is the actually right thing to do. I did and the meds actually made me be able to go to the gym. The one I took does work and it's not just BS and a way to make money for big Pharma. So again to new guys, ignore the stupid stuff some say here. If you know you have serious issues, go get some help. It's not pussy to get help and it's not pussy to take meds you actually can benefit from. What is pussy is being a judgmental clueless bitch.
So shut the fuck and talk about stuff you actually have experience in.

I am reminded of the scene in fight club where Tyler says he will hunt down and murder the cashier if he doesn't follow his dreams. I really think we need to have a similar mindset for real growth.

OK. We can agree that meds aren't magic pills.they are legal after all. they won't make you high like alcohol or drugs and the change is extremely slow and gradual. In my case really did take at least 3 month for a clear effect. Hope your psychiatrist did do this? And true, in the end it is still you that must lift your ass of the chair and walk to the gym. At least for me that hurdle was far lower than the one to start therapy.
We can also agree to do your own research and don't blindly trust your doctors. I've read about your problem too and insisted on a specific medication (not SSRI!) as these have many problematic side effects like loss of libido and weight gain. Pretty bad for self-improvement. My recommendation is to start with a different med.
If you have tried several meds of different classes and none work my suggestion would be to perform some literature research into psychedelics and their effects on depression. One dose of them can have a lasting positive effect for months. Note: Do the research, take at your own risk. I never did as legal meds worked but again did my research before taking meds.
cariboo_j 8y ago
I tried ketamine after reading some research.
Holy crap that stuff works.
RPmatrix 8y ago
you're both right, but SSRI type "anti-depressants" are IMO The most widely and inappropriately Rx'd drugs for a plethora of conditions, many of which they tend to make worse, but that's not what 'the literature' says and whilst many drs go by 'the literature' too many go on what the HB9 Pharma Co's rep

yeah don't disagree. I highly recommend to first try something else than an SSRI.

magnesium supplemets, about 5-800mgs per day, the RDI is 450mgs p/d and most people are lucky of they get 150mgs
Magnesium acts directly on the brain and works fast too, you'll notice 800mgs in about an hour, if you're feeling anxioius or angry you'll find you've chilled out heaps an hour or so after taking it. I take 500mgs daily anyway, it's perfect for helping deal with modern urban stresses

Depression is a consequence of the education system, you can't pretend it will happen in a more sane environment with the same frequency.
Which is actually the whole point of this discussion.
beginner_ 8y ago
Maybe it helps to lead up to it but it sure isn't the only and not the main component. Genetics play a huge role. And of course your parents, how you were raised. And last but not least your character eg. shy and low-confidence lead to greater risk for depression.
Nicolay77 8y ago
And yet depression is substantially lower in the Latin American countries where families are big and more traditional.
beginner_ 8y ago
Or access to psychiatrist is more limited and even more stigmatized than here.
Baldr209 8y ago
if you didn't have adhd then they should have gone to a psychiatrist just so the doc could say "no" and then go back to the school with a politely written letter from the doc saying that you were fine and that the teachers aren't goddamned psychiatrists.
Ibex3D 8y ago
I'm a college student and I wanted adderall to abuse when I needed to study and xanax to abuse for fun and when I take acid.
"I have trouble focusing and getting my work done."
"Okay, I''l write you a Rx for adderall."
"Also I have trouble sleeping."
"No problem, I'll give you something for that too."
I had actual sleeping problems but got over them by working out and then I manipulated him into getting xanax. The xanax was actually a little bit of work but I literally told him I had trouble focusing and I had a prescription in about a minute. The doc is never gonna say no. Especially if the kid actually wont sit still and focus.

RPmatrix 8y ago
that's not going to happen IRL, if the parents tell the 'doc' their kid IS Hyper, either the 'doc prescibes what they want or they'll simply take young Johnny to a dr who will, I'd guess that's about 50% of 'docs' in the US

I will often hear people from older generations say that they made something of themselves in spite of only receiving an eighth grade education. The basic idea is that they were at a disadvantage because their education was cut short and circumstances forced them to enter the job market at 14. Modern sensibilities would agree with this assessment. But maybe we have this up-side-down. Maybe the fact their education ceased in their early teen years was actually an advantage rather than a disadvantage. Even in our so-called information age economy (or pick your favorite buzzword) how much of what people do at their jobs is a product of on the job training? The more I think about the education system, the more I think of them as holding pens where the most productive years of your life go to die.

If you are going to discuss systemic anti-male issues, circumcision is worth discussing. Just like female genital mutilation, it deprives males of normal sexual function and pleasure, and also leaves trauma and psychological scars buried in the psyche. While the feminists have managed to ban FGM, MGM is still the norm in North America, and tolerated for religious reasons around the world, despite its demonstrated harm.

TheGillos 8y ago
Part of your cock got cut off. That's a bad thing.
[deleted] 8y ago
It's bad because your cutting of part of someones genitals without their consent. If someone want's to be circumcised that all good and fine, but circumcising a child who has no choice in the matter is wrong.
Honestly I wish I wasn't circumcised. If I had the choice today I would have said no.
allSmallThings 8y ago
when you are young you probably won't notice that anything is "wrong". i never realized an issue until much later. but that is because we have no basis of comparison since we were maimed as infants.
the head of the penis wasn't designed to be exposed all the time, since it is a mucus membrane. not only do we have much less sensation during sex than men who are uncut - just ask men who have been cut as adults - but as we get older, the head of the penis "keratinizes" - forms an thicker layer of skin, like the soles of our feet.
the extra layer of tough skin on the head of the penis reduces sensation even more. so by the age of 40 or 50 years old, men who are cut are taking 5 times the number of ED/viagra pills as uncut men.
this isn't to mention the hundreds of baby boys who bleed to death every year from botched circumcisions, or the thousands who have a f-ed up cock because of a botched circumcision. the suffering that these men go though is heartbreaking (you can hear their stories and see pictures in the Survey of Circumcision Harm). we should protect ALL babies, male and female, and leave their bodies intact!

I find it to be one of these debates that are pointless to argue about....
What was done was done
allSmallThings 8y ago
what's done is done, but we can make the future better. male genital mutilation is still being done to millions of baby boys every year. if we can raise such a fuss about female genital mutilation, aren't boys worth the same protection?
penis_butter_n_jelly 8y ago
Well, since my dick is 2 inches longer than yours, I have way more nerve endings therefore you probably can't even reach climaxes HA HA HA!!!
lol it is totally pointless to argue, I just can't believe people are that dumb. I'm against circumcision, but I don't need to whip myself into an emotional orgasm. Comparing circumcision to removal of the clit is literally retarded. Bitches put holes in their hood and guys drive bars through their head and enjoy increased stimulation. But what about all the nerves?!!!
RPmatrix 8y ago
foreskins have shitloads of nerves in them, the very end bit in particular ... it's male genital mutilation bro!
penis_butter_n_jelly 8y ago
If my dick is an inch longer than yours, I'd have 20-30% more nerves than you. Does that mean I have more intense orgasms? No. The more nerves nonsense is patently retarded.
allSmallThings 8y ago
actually you have roughly the same number of nerves in your dick, finger, arm, or head, whether it is smaller or larger. just the density changes, not the number.
RPmatrix 8y ago
fraid not! Is your dick only 3.5" short?
penis_butter_n_jelly 8y ago
That would make yours 2.5". aka, the joke. Welcome to the conversation.
The point remains, if nerve count meant something, your 2.5 inch pecker and subsequent low nerve count wouldn't even be capable of orgasming.

I was diagnosed with ADHD as a child, and took Ritalin for about a year.
I have a question that I haven't really been able to find an answer for.
Many Narratives suggest that the number of boys with ADHD is far less than the number of boys diagnosed with ADHD.
However they tell us that if you have ADHD, taking ritalin, (which is a stimulant, similar to meth) actually calms you down, and slows you down so to speak. This was the case for me.
So if such a great number of these ADHD Diagnosis are false, wouldn't they know pretty fucking soon that they were wrong, because they would have spracked out kids in their class?

1: A basic bill of rights and set of national certification standards, other than that each school has its own "system."
2: Throw the scantron reader in the trash where it belongs. It facilitates cheating and impedes actual learning.
3: Start prosecuting corrupt officials. Most of the current problems would cease to exist if uppermost-leaders stopped getting away with things which are already illegal.
4: Skills, not scores. Make a catalogue of viable professional skills, and certify students at varying levels on a yes-or-no basis of whether they can handle a specific challenge within an acceptable margin of errors and problems. Professions are judged this way, and schools' purpose is preparing people for adult life.
5: Stop discriminating against men - this is the hard one. The bias of unconditional female innocence causes schools to install severely hazardous women out of a belief that guilt belongs exclusively to men.
LegendaryPeace 8y ago
There shouldn't be a single, monolithic "system." This set up only arose in the early 20th century when industrialists needed to assimilate millions of immigrants into America while also reorienting rural folks moving into the cities.
Forced national public education was very controversial when it was first introduced, and was heavily resisted in certain areas. It's not inevitable. We need a less centralized system, run by local school boards (not dictates from Washington), that focuses on education first and foremost. Youth sports should function on Europe's club model - then we don't have to exploit "student-athletes" in college and the student body in high school will be less divided between jocks, nerds, etc.
Allow kids to explore interests early on, and then focus on areas of interest. Stop making them learn a little bit of everything on a schedule of Pavlovian bells. Teach critical thinking - stop intertwining education and the state. That's called brainwashing.
billcosbyeatsbabies 8y ago
there's a little cute school in my small BC town that does exactly this. all the kids who come out of it around grade 7 are always, 100% of the time, odd. not in a bad way, mind you, but noticeably odd to the point of being quite funny. i shouldn't laugh at them however, because they are living much healthier and mentally-unrestricted lives than most of us. they may be a little weird but they're happy and thats what matters.

Seems more efficient to have people brainwashed from birth than to have them learn this shit on their own. Whilst I don't personally subscribe to the common Catholic beliefs anymore, I do find it particularly effective at producing conscience driven people.
What's your stance on having people learn stuff rather than just teaching them and manipulating them from the onset to act/ behave a certain way?

Obviously things have taken a drastic turn since I was in school. I'm 31 now and beginning in 5th grade, the top performers in the class were boys. In every single field, boys excelled over girls. The top 5 performers in my class were 4 boys and one girl.
In middle and high school, the same boys were still top performers but their intensity had diminished thanks to their hormones. The girls started catching up solely based on effort. When you have boys chatting you up left and right, you can focus on your studies and do well instead of trying to make friends.
Furtnermore, in high school, the teacher of the year was awarded to a personable Government teacher who happened to be a man, all 4 years I attended. Compared to the only female teacher that made an impact on me (uber masculine face and mannerisms, short butch like hair), who taught advanced geometry, he was ten times the teacher she was.
It's obvious that since I was a student, society has moved the goalposts in true female/feminist fashion and that is how "girls are outperforming boys". /scoffs
[deleted] 8y ago
I feel like a lot of girls sort of stop maturing emotionally when they are in their early 20s. They will get more life experience, but they will still be like "I like to do stupid shit, because girl power. I like to make mistakes" etc.
I think guys emotionally continue to mature into their 30s and 40s. more so than not.
DonaldLMessi 8y ago
Free college is a no brainer for the government. Another 4 years of indoctrination and more value out of your tax cow for the rest of their life
Thotwrecker 8y ago
The entire education process is beyond fucked. It goes far beyond indoctrination of ideas and attitudes; our education system has been designed to create people who are dependent, who have learned little of actual substance and thus need social programs, institutions, and continued expensive education to continue to function.
Societies used to want men; the idea was to create rites of passage where weak men / boys would fail and be eliminated from the society, and men would pass. This would create a society where everyone could depend on their fellow man for a set of basic traits - not afraid of combat, resourceful at survival in the wilderness, etc. You can look at any man in the tribe, and because he's made it through X and Y rites of passage, you know he's good for those skills at the very least.
Our society focused on creating dependent boys, who need more and more support, group-identity, and help processing reality. Instead of eliminating weakness, everyone passes and everyone gets a gold medal. The result is that you can reach age 18 in our society and be a neckbeard SJW piece of trash who spends all day on tumblr. You can reach 18 and have no skills besides information regurgitation and playing LoL and being a lardass.
There's nothing forcing boys to actually develop themselves mentally and physically. No challenge, just "get OK grades" which you can do with 2 brain cells. So any given 18 year old has basically no skills and no positive, hardship-forged traits.
The cream of the crop, the Palo Alto kids, I see these kids everyday. They go to tutoring & test prep companies, their parents hire people to help them get into top schools, their mother or nanny typically shuttles them from music lessons to tutoring to their BS "college application" activities. They have no idea how to solve problems on their own and go anything without the support of a group and community. They cannot "stand alone" in any way. They rely on communities - real or online - to tell them what to do, how to think, and where to go.
The bottom line is that for millenials, you have to find your own rites of passage with meaning to you. You cannot rely upon the US to give you "rites of passage", as our rites of passage are horseshit. I was in a frat too, and it's not a substitute. It will help you learn social skills and help you learn to network, but it will only minorly help you become an independent man capable of seeing reality for what it is, and acting in your own best interests.
All you see today are "Straw" rites of passage. Studying abroad, travelling the world, etc. Maybe if you traveled across Asia on a motorcycle on an extremely low budget, but most "travelling" is just getting titillated by whatever entertainment locals will produce for you in return for your $. We all know what chicks mean when they say they backpacked across Europe, and no life skills were learned in that process.
You have to find something real, something that will challenge you and force you to confront reality & become better.

one of these things is not like the others. join the army reserve?? sure, for survival skills and implementing awesome habits and building a sick body. otherwise, you're a tool in the hands of the elites; a pawn in the middle of the chessboard. don't fight for this government, it's a complete setup.
Entropy-7 8y ago
The Canadian Forces works a bit different. We have more oil than any non-OPEC nation so we don't have to go around starting wars and changing regimes. In the reserves, you can largely set your own terms. They cannot force you go anywhere unless the balloon goes up (in which case we are all fucked anyways). Show up once a week and that generally keeps the brass happy. If you want a tour in Afghanistan, hell go for it (some of my peers have done 4 tours). Don't go crazy when you are on leave and you can bank some good coin over 6 months.

Between this and the massive REMF faggotry seen since at least Vietnam (friends dying, rifle leveled on the enemy's head, ordered to hold fire indefinitely,) I am truly surprised there hasn't been a news-worthy armed upheaval over it.
People have already sat in huge numbers in DC during the Obama administration, with guns on their backs (peacefully,) and the media had a total blackout over it while the degradation of liberty only accelerates. Everything I know about history tells me this is like a kid striking a hornet's nest with a baseball bat.
What scares me most about this year is the GOP primary. The more I look at it, the more it seems the political elite would rather slaughter us all than accept a challenge from the outside.

Thank fuck that there is a two-term limit, so Obama can go off on speaking tours and not be in a position to really fuck your nation up any further. I was actually astounded that he won a second term. Based on exit poll data, it was know-nothing 20-somethings and "persons of color" who elected him.

When we say:
"The Blue Pill emotional indoctrination process has the effect of suppressing consciousness."
...your post has filled that out and given it all the detail one might ever ask for.
School isn't there to make you wiser, it's there to dumb you down and make you a useful "tool" for your Game aware globalist overlords. Prepare to be used as a "tool".
As a kid we used to use the word "tool" as a slang.
It was an insult:
"Bobby you are a fucking tool."
...is how we might say it.
The Alpha uses "tools" by playing his own Game.
The person that gets played is a "tool".
And you can substitute "fool" very easily.
RickJamesBeyach 8y ago
A great source of information on this topic is The War Against Boys: How Misguided Policies are Harming Our Young Men by Christina Hoff Summers. Some excerpts:
Although many educators recognize that boys have fallen far behind girls in school, few address the problem in a serious way. Schools that try to stop the trend, through boy-friendly pedagogy, literacy interventions, vocational training, or same-sex classes, are often thwarted. Women’s lobbying groups still call such projects evidence of a “backlash” against girls’ achievements and believe they are part of a campaign to slow further female progress.
This book explains how it became fashionable to pathologize the behavior of millions of healthy male children. We have turned against boys and forgotten a simple truth: the energy, competitiveness, and corporal daring of normal males are responsible for much of what is right in the world. No one denies that boys’ aggressive tendencies must be mitigated and channeled toward constructive ends. Boys need (and crave) discipline, respect, and moral guidance. Boys need love and tolerant understanding. But being a boy is not a social disease.
laser_attack 8y ago
Thanks for writing this up, more people need to be aware of the history behind the conditioning that happens in our schools. One little thing to add too: today kids look to their peers for growth. What I mean is that kids spend time with other kids, trying to navigate the unsteady waters that lead to adulthood. This is a new phenomenon. Historically, kids spent more time with adults, from which they learned to be adults themselves. This is why we've had decade after decade of entitled people with a complete lack of direction or motivation. These kids have a share in the blame, but at the end of the day they were never TAUGHT how to be an adult. Especially when you have kids raised by single mothers. 25% of kids today are raised by single mothers. 72% of black kids are raised by single mothers. How does a boy learn to become a grown man under these conditions? Younger guys think wearing plaid and rocking a beard is manly because they didn't get a true understanding of what a real man is. Yeah beards are legit, but we're talking about the IMAGE of manliness vs. actual manliness.
It's shit like this that leads to things like TRP getting created. Men have realized that they've gotten robbed of something, so we've created our own space to figure out what that something is. It's a testament to our spirit of wanting to know the world as it actually is, which is a masculine trait.

i was born and raised in italy, and its mindblowing my head that kids gets prescribed psych-drugs (here in my country is very rare i imagine, usually only for people with a real need like suicidal kids or heavily traumatized, definitely not 1in5 or even 1in10). its totally mindfucking!
i mean, as a non usa-person i could be in favour or opposition to typical "usa-things/clichè" like guncontrol, heavy use of gmo, massive military and so on... but giving drugs to children, that's totally bat-shit crazy on whole new level! there's no even questioning this!

Great post. Interesting point that of the lack of male teachers in school. However, doesn't that sound a bit like women's complaints about the lack of women in STEM fields? How would you respond to a girl's argument saying that if we want more male teachers than we should go into education? I'm genuinely curious.
LegendaryPeace 8y ago
I would avoid that argument in the first place for the following reason: feminists and Red Pill men address oppression/social issues in a fundamentally different way.
Unlike feminists, I wouldn't claim that anything posted here should cause one to develop a victim mentality. Hell, even if an external oppressor is trying to enslave you, that's still not a reason to identify as a victim.
What we're trying to do at TRP is gather facts that allow us to raise our awareness so we can make better decisions. Instead of enrolling my kid in a feminine public school and then complaining about his indoctrination for the next decade, I will simply home school him or send him to an all boys school. Ultimately, I take responsibility for every facet of my life, and if I find myself in a disadvantaged position I think, "damn I slipped up. I should've researched this more or made a different decision. Next time I'll do better."
There's never any excuse to be a victim. We collect knowledge to improve at the Game, not to start social justice crusades and feel bad for ourselves.

Like u/LegenraryPeace said, when he argues that there are no male role models for kids growing up, he's not saying there's a conspiracy that keeps men out, he's just stating a fact. Why are there no male teachers? Many factors, the top one being that because women are by nature better with kids/want to work with kids, they have flooded the profession, feminized it beyond recognition and made it simultaneously unappealing and dangerous for men. Imagine trying to get some kind of word out as a male teacher, any argument you make will be drowned by the emotional outpours of all the women there. The other reasons are largely a consequence of this: the profession has been devalued (both in terms of salary and prestige), men who work with kids are looked upon with suspicion and the educational standards have dropped to such a low level that entering the field would just be endless frustration.
Also consider the fact that having men in education wouldn't really achieve anything if they weren't positive role models, so merely having pussy-whipped males is not a solution. And they will be pussy-whipped as long as they have shit status and are looked upon with scorned by women. In the days when women worked until marriage, even the elementary grade teacher was shown respect and this respect gave him the confidence to be a positive male role model. It's like people understood this instinctively, that you can't expect kids to listen to someone their parents have no respect for. So what's the solution? I don't think there is, not in the current climate, and not for everyone. At a personal level, you have to be the best male role model for your boy. But for everyone else, expect it to get worse before it gets better.
Pharmakoza 8y ago
There have been studies that show that female teachers tend to grade male students more harshly than female students. Not sure if that's a bias thing or if the male students really are doing worse.
SexistFlyingPig 8y ago
John Taylor Gatto's The Underground History of American Education is also a good resource.

My grandpa told me he'll never care what my grades are-that my goal for college should be to get in, get out, and get a job. Emphasis on connections being more important with the degree being an entrance ticket.
Do you have a source for the 40 minute interruptions specifically? Google gave me a bunch of stuff that will probably mention but none were focused on it. Great write up.
rockumsockumrobots 8y ago
This...everything single thing you just said, is why my parents homeschooled me. Make sure you give your kids good social interaction otherwise, but for the love of god, if you have kids, homeschool them and teach them how the world really works.

As i read this i sit in English listening to my teacher lecture us about sexism in huck finn. Everything we've read is apparently sexist because "oh it sets unrealistic expectations about women" or "oh the woman character is stupid"
SpeakerToRedditors 8y ago
Thank God I never went to college.
billcosbyeatsbabies 8y ago
i wish i never stepped foot into a high school.
SpeakerToRedditors 8y ago
I went to private school from kindergarten till middle school. I went to public school for high school. it was quite the shock going from private to public school I'm lucky I only had 4 years of total brain washing.

Really good post. I can say I learned something, although i do feel a bit angry.

Regarding the ADHD item. The 20 percent statistic is precisely why counselors and teachers should not assume every hyperactive child has ADHD. Those of us with legitimate diagnoses represent 2-5% of the overall population. And many of us were diagnosed very early because of problems at home, school and with friends. ADHD goes way beyond short attention spans and hyperactivity. Sorry for the very subjective rant but as someone who (along with his father and younger brother) struggled with this disorder, we and our good physicians know what ADHD is and more importantly what it isn't. I hope society catches up at some point.
PantsonFire1234 8y ago
Women just end up holding their female superiority protests boards when such statistics reach the surface. Women also have massive zen in their peak years. All the opportunity, sexual and romantic attention are one text message away. All they need to do is choose who to fuck and who to bed. Boys end up sexually frustrated most of the time. Even Chad is itching his balls in puberty thinking of nothing else.
School is a test of clearance of mind over anything else. Do you have the ability to devote all your time and attention to this subject? is the question that will decide whether you get an A or a D. It's not intellectually difficult but it takes time. Women doll themselves up and call it a day after a hike, that leaves hours upon hours for school. Even more if they don't have a passion or hobby, which most of them don't.
ProductivityMonster 8y ago
This is unquestionably true for me. I can't tell you the hours I fought between jacking it and studying while in school. I still managed good grades, but I definitely could have been a superstar had this not hindered me. Now that I'm a little bit older and about to go back for my professional degree, I think I can tame the beast and own the classes.
MakesYouFeelWeird- 8y ago
Damn that makes a lot of sense. Now I have to study other the other systems of education other country's have to see what is there for actual learning. This post is very interesting.

Loved this post. Hard truth with references.
We need to watch out for the young men. They're getting hit harder. In my case, my son has never seen the insides of a school and likely never will. It's called unschooling.
masnera 8y ago
Damn...And Marriage really is Hardcore TRP mode, not for the faint of the heart, not for the weak willed Man...society is against you if you want to breed a TRP boy.
Epicfaillord 8y ago
how do you keep your son compatible with society as a whole without schooling him?
billcosbyeatsbabies 8y ago
probably by enrolling him in local sports teams, volunteering for homeless shelters/food banks, introducing his son to his friends kids, joining like-minded organizations and groups such as communes, survivalists, mellow down to earth people, self-proclaimed rebels, etc.
RPmatrix 8y ago
teaching=/=schooling
you can teach without a school/curricula
Epicfaillord 8y ago
It isn't about the curricula its about the papers you get from completing it.
RPmatrix 8y ago
he asked "how do you teach sans school?"
georgedonnelly 8y ago
Why would he need to be "compatible with society as a whole"? I'm not even sure what you mean by that.
Society will need to be compatible with him. Because he's going to bring a ton of value.
Epicfaillord 8y ago
I don't know that he'll bring a ton of value but I do know that he won't be able to get a job suitable for an American without a diploma.
georgedonnelly 8y ago
Why would anyone want a job? Jobs are for suckers.
He wants a trade, a business, freelance skills, a vocation. But never a job. This isn't even something I had to teach him.
That said, unschooled kids can get GEDs and get into any college they are individually suitable for, including the Ivy League - if you think college is still worth it. I went to a top 5 US university and I have my doubts.
Epicfaillord 8y ago
Businesses have one shot to succeed and most of them fail. Without that economic cushion you could be paying off the debt for years. A trade is something I would consider a job but good point.
georgedonnelly 8y ago
Not true but even if it was, there is no limit on the number of businesses you can try.
There is no need to go into debt in order to start a business. I overinvested in my first one and still did it with just $400. My second cost $15 to start.
The trick is to always be investing in yourself.
A trade is a little more than a job because it's a skill that is in constant demand, or should be if you pick wisely. With unions and the ability to start your own business performing your trade, it opens up a lot of possibilities that aren't there for people who go the school-college-job route.

If they were really interested in maximizing the educational progress of males there would be more emphasis on beginning of the day physical education classes (for fitness and burning off excess energy constructively) as well as hands on (practical) teaching instead of rote data instillation.
But there is not. Draw your own conclusion from that.

Fuck school, I come here to learn.

There were so many times in high school where I was just zoning out in my studio art classes working on projects only to be interrupted by that obnoxious bell to go to my next class- fucking english with some menopausal bitch who couldn't keep her emotions in check and (I shit you not) actually called a black student in my class "n*gger" (to be fair, she was joking around and black kids everywhere use the word pretty liberally.. This was also before the days of "PC" I'm sure she would've been fired had she done it today).
Anyway, this fucking piece of shit would write me up for skipping class or showing up late when I had more important things to work on in my art classes.. Pretty sure all we did in junior english was read antigone to each other and no one paid attention anyway. Also I wrote a 10 page research paper in that class on the patriot act, national security and its potential infringements on our rights as citizens.. She told me "Don't write about conspiracy theories" bitch.. what?!

Women run this country. That explains why everything is so shit.
red_breeze 8y ago
I refer to universities as "factories of liberal indoctrination" because that's exactly what they are now. Any dissent from popular opinion is seen as 'bigotry' and the university/ other students will go out of their way to fuck with dissenters.
nice_guy_bot_ 8y ago
All evidence points to a concerted effort by one special minority ethnic group using ethnic networking and nepotism to shape the social science departments in American universities - which then spread to other countries. This has nothing to do with "government control".
red_breeze 8y ago
Idk for sure if it's gov't or special interest, but some group of people is controlling the hivemind of politcally correct movement- and it's disturbing to witness the results in person.
aazav 8y ago
The bullshit starts with the Disney faggotry of, "you're special and everyone loves you just the way you are!"
That and instilling in little girls that they need to be princesses.
Epicfaillord 8y ago
turns out they don't actually do any of that
aazav 8y ago
Tell that to every little girl in America who wants their princess dolls.
fritopiefritolay 8y ago
On the note about college, I went to a fairly liberal college where I took this sociology class that seemed to make so much sense at the time but now I see it for what it actually was.
Having never been exposed to topics like "gender constructs" and feminism I thought these words were law coming from the professor who herself was a lesbian and feminist. Looking back that was some serious brainwashing and attempt to justify her lifestyle. Young men in college without exposure to strong, male role models will only continue to soak in all that propaganda.
lakalahehe 8y ago
I've been thinking that its a good thing that women discriminate against blue-pilled because blue-pilled men favor misandry/feminism or , in other words, are severely against our (men's) basic freedoms.
trumpisafaggybeta 8y ago
Back in college I was effectively forced to take a class on feminist theory, and reading the texts written by old hags and manginas was painful. It was amazing to see how indoctrinated, stupid, and petty everything that they wrote was. I nodded my head, played along with the dumb professor's notions and aced the class. She seriously thought that I was one of her best feminist students too, hahahhahahaha.
red_breeze 8y ago
Anytime I had to write an essay for an english teacher, I would make shit up but use very vivid wordplay. They ate it up haha. Ironic they studied english for years but cannot detect bullshit.
[deleted] 8y ago
Thats because your 'correct' opinion on something is more important than the logic.
TheGillos 8y ago
Lol, reminds me of HS English. I was constantly getting 50s and 60s on reports because I tried to be original. We used a strict PPA style of report writing. Point, proof, analysis. My mistake was thinking if I had good, original, points and backed them up with proofs and analyses I would do well. Nope.
My friends all made fun of my grades. They were getting 80s and 90s. One assignment I took notes on every point, proof and analysis the teacher made in class, then regurgitated them on my report. Wow! I got 95% and a big green lettered congratulations from the teacher! I rubbed it in my friend's faces, then went back to getting 50s and 60s.
gerwig 8y ago
Yeah. I would agonize over coming up with an original essay, later realizing that everyone else would just write what the teacher said in class. I had assumed I'd be accused of cheating if I did that.
aazav 8y ago
Gender constructs is such stupid faggotry that I can't even believe it fucking exists.
There are two genders. Male and female. If you've got the defective equipment or a set of both, you're a fucking genetic reject, not "a special flower."
Fucking idiots and their pre triggered feels.
hhamama66 8y ago
Biology doesn't determine everything. Science was designed by the patriarchy. Not all of it is true. /s
aazav 8y ago
ERMAGERD. I should be so triggered right now but I literally can't even.
Clint_Redwood 8y ago
Language was designed by the partriarchy so /u/aazav and your point are sexist. We must revert back to primal body language to communicate our beliefs. Also eyes can cause triggers so we should get rid of those too.
aazav 8y ago
As soon as I figure out that the word, triggered, was created by a someone who was influenced by a male figure at some point in their life, I'm probably going to remove it from my vocabulary. But until then, my can't evens are literally oppressed and triggered at the same time.
Haha. Someone should seed the tumblrestrogenfags with the concept that the words triggered and oppressed are male creations.
Watch heads explode. Pass the popcorn. I want to see this.
123xyz123xyz 8y ago
Liberals are much more interested in control than liberalism. Fascism and progressivism have the same roots.
And the education system is the perfect delivery mechanism.
Cucked by busybody control freaks.
aazav 8y ago
As a Democrat, the last fucking thing I am is "liberal". If you give shit away to everyone, the people who get it have no respect for it since it is not earned. It's more an "I deserve this" mindset that's toxic of the voter. They want to ally with the bully and the people who will give them free stuff and think it's all deserved to them because whatever.
These terms used to describe Democrats and Republicans are pretty shitty. Meh, politics in the US blows donkey cock.
123xyz123xyz 8y ago
Agree with Democrats on social freedoms but disagree with giving away unearned shit? My friend, take a seat at the table of libertarianism.
aazav 8y ago
Yeah, I can't sit at the seat of no regulation either. I'll just keep walking around until I find the right table, or make my own table with blackjack and hookers.
Clint_Redwood 8y ago
You mean everyone has an equal opportunity but is only entitled to what they earn?
fucking blasphemy. Burn the heretic.

Cookiest 8y ago
How is this related to sexual strategy?
RedSugarPill 8y ago
I could answer this about a dozen different ways, but I'll try the simplest approach I can think of at the moment.
1) The Illuminati wants absolute power over human beings.
2) Strong men and strong families are an obstacle to absolute power.
3) The most powerful thing a man can do is create life.
4) Since men were shepherds, it has been widely known that sex and creation of life are associated with one another.
5) Perhaps even before men were shepherds, it was discovered that the best way to control men is to control their sexuality.
6) A campaign of control methods are therefore used to stun masculinity and divide families, clans, neighborhoods, cultures, and nations.
7) The education system has been either hijacked or created to indoctrinate and control humans.
8) Adderall and other amphetamines have been developed and pushed upon the masses, in order to further control masculine creativity and power.
9) Understanding how a system works is necessary to overcome its designed pitfalls.
I hope this helps.
