I'm normally against these post's in /r/TheRedPill for what it's worth, I'm not an MRA but here is what happens to you if are a man(wear what you want) in today's world.
Dr Matt Taylor should be world famous right now for landing a spacecraft on a comet. However feminazis instead focused not on the milestone achievement in Science and space exploration but on what fabric he chooses to cover himself with. On the big day, he choose to wear a Bowling Shirt made for him by his female friend. If you haven't already seen a photo of him wearing the shirt, I'll include a link further down. The shirt is covered in women wearing clothes that are a cross between xena the warrior princess and dominatrix outfits. Feminsts lacking complete selfawareness called this 'the reason women can't work comfortable in STEM fields.' A fairly direct insult to women everywhere. The new internet hate machine(Twitter) started telling the bigots all around the world, and hate started pouring in for a man, wearing a shirt that his friend gave him. I think he should have worn a suit for the big day, however if I didn't have one but I did own a shirt a friend FUCKING HAND MADE for me. I'd wear that too.
Matt besides doing something no one in history can claim to do is an ordinary man. He's not red pill he's not used to the spotlight and he doesn't know how to handle it. [WARNING:MAN CRYING AHEAD] His apology is here.
(Edit: updated with trp lingo)Guys never say sorry for something like this fail shit tests. Stand your ground, it will be the hardest frame test of your life. Compare this to RSD Julien from two(?) weeks ago. Julien posted videos edited to look like he was sexually assaulting girls, the world lost it's shit. His response, nothing. His friend tried to give a speech in his place, and was physically assaulted. Juilen left the country in the next day and hasn't said anything since. It will be interesting to watch over the course of the next few months how these two men, deal with their respective public shamings.
Scoreboard
Women negatively affected: 0
Women put off working in STEM fields: 0
Man who's greatest achievement will forever be shamed: 1
Feminists win this round.
crazytrpr 8y ago
His mistake was apologizing and showing himself of being of lower social status. Higher social status would have given him a pass.
His employer could pressure all they want for a public apology, threaten with a law suit and they will back off.
Social media is like Junior High School, people only have as much power as you give them. Not Giving a Fuck is often the best reply. Ignore them no acknowledgement and definitely no apology.
StinkyDiaper 9y ago
Feminists completely pwned this guy, unfortunately. No doubt that NASA also intensely pressured him to apologize, for PC reasons.
hohamocha 9y ago
Dumb feminist cunts don't realize the real reason for them feeling uncomfortable in STEM fields is because they allow themselves to get bothered over little irrelevant things like this, instead of looking at the big picture. Every scientist/engineer needs to look at the big picture in any project they are working on, more so than small details. In scientific discovery and engineering, the big picture is more relevant than the small details.

GOAL: 10,000 Likes for Dr. Matt Taylor who works on and has contributed to the Rosetta Mission. We are fans of your expertise and don't care what you wear. It is your brain that we are interested in. That you have a unique personality is wonderful and we deplore the condemnation of something so trifling as your dress sense. By liking this page we honour your contribution to the ground breaking Rosetta Mission and wish you continued success in the future.
We thank you for playing a part in furthering human endeavor.

They haven't won anything! I wanted today to find personall email of dr Taylor and said I support him. Do you think that Im the only person who does it? In my opinion feminists put another minus on themselves.

Please please please someone convince the woman to get these t-shirts mass produced and sell them online. It'll be my Xmas gift to everyone this year. We need to get those t-shirts mass produced. I'm not kidding.
This guy deserves all the best in the world.
DarkCircle 9y ago
If a shirt can put you off your dream career, you wouldn't have made it in the first place.
Mustaka 9y ago
This pisses me off tremendously. This mans achievement is humankind level of importance and feminists are concerned about a fucking shirt.
Fuck them. Fuck all of them. I will not remember this man because of a shirt. I will remember him because he is now a fucking legend to science and all man kind.
The only thing holding back women is women wanting their /r/PussyPass.
WoahScienceCool 9y ago
In all fairness, he probably had to cry or feign some form of sincere sympathy if he wanted to keep his job- yes, even after landing a probe on a fucking comet. Work places take their EEO reputation very seriously, as stupid as it is.
Certainly doesnt excuse how stupid this whole situation is, however.
evafha 9y ago
No, this was sincere. This is a guy whose natural reaction to a shit test is to pass it instead of pissing on it.
tatti_ke_tukde 9y ago
You don't see. This type of fake reactions are expected in companies dealing with consumers. Not from people who have nothing to do with other humans. Environments where people like him work usually are lax about attire and social skills so they can concentrate more on the real work on not the bullshit. I don't think he was forced to do this. This is simply a very unfortunate incident. I hope someone gives him the message that he wasn't wrong in the slightest.
[deleted] 9y ago
The problem is that he works for a public agency and was in the public spotlight. At some point, some elected official stands to lose from this. Shit flows downhill.
He's being thrown under the organizational bus.
WoahScienceCool 9y ago
Yes, I thought about this too, but at the end of the day, here in our liberal, western civilizations, every organization of any type puts great emphasis on PR and equality. The US military has even allowed women to join in combat roles AND lowered the bar for even the most basic qualifications to accomodate that. If what you say was true, agencies such as the FBI and CIA would all most likely be white, Mormon, males (the main overall demographic that recruits and gets recruited into these agencies), but we all know that isnt the case. For whatever reason, western civilization is placing huge pressure on everybody to seem tolerant, to the point of absurdity. No one wants his corporation, business, organization, club or agency to be associated with a "racist/mysoginist bigot" these days, and they will react based off of public approval and criticisms. People need to dismantle this practice from the top, higher ups. Attacking and shaming one beta male for losing alpha frame in a work environment will accomplish nothing.
unpluggedoasis 9y ago
Don't even want to watch the video. I just have a feeling in my soul that seeing this man cry because of some dumbass feminist will fill me with rage. The man helps a team accomplishes the incredible and these fucking bitches make it about gender equality.
ThePedanticCynic 9y ago
You know what will make you rage harder? The realization that feminists everywhere were smirking and laughing as they saw this. They feel they've won something by breaking this fucking genius down into tears over a non-issue to anyone with two fucking brain cells.
Fucking. Psychos.

skoobled 9y ago
Sure, you furthered human scientific achievement... But what about womyn?!
evafha 9y ago
Correct, realistic response that you could actually give today, not some fantasyland:
"Yesterday, in my excitement over our landing the first spacecraft on a comet [demonstrates achievement], I failed to realize that my image would be seen by millions of people around the world who were tuning in for this historic human achievement. As the leader of the team [demonstrates status], I was focused entirely on the mission [demonstrates focus], and I accidentally wore a shirt which was unsuitable for broadcast television seen by millions of children worldwide [frames complainers as children].
I apologize for any hurt feelings my clothing choice may have caused [the blame is on the clothing]. I fully support all efforts to get more young people, especially young girls, into science and technology-related fields, and hope that a young girl might be inspired by yesterday's historic achievement to one day pilot a spacecraft to a comet and land on it herself."
TakeYourSoma1 9y ago
I'm torn between advocating for power talk like what you wrote and just figuratively giving these whiners the bird.
WardlyHasted 9y ago
Honestly, this makes me sick. If you do a quick Google search for the name, "Matt Taylor", all of the top hits are articles about him apologizing for his shirt or bullshit SJW blog posts about how his shirt is misogynistic.
The man was responsible for the most important space-based mission since the moon landing and this is what's being reported. A mission that was 10 years in the making, that required an incomprehensible amount of preparation and technical knowledge.
This is an absolute travesty. Shame on the "authors" who choose to write these pieces, but more importantly, shame on the publications who decide to allow this trash to be published as "news".
ven5 9y ago
I finally see what a joy women are to work with, said every employer upon hearing this news.
Free_skier 9y ago
Women love to destroy nice guys. Can't believe they made him cry on TV and are happy about it.
AreYouAware_ 9y ago
Something to bear in mind, for those of you who might be just recently unplugging, is you might have been under some mistaken impression that we're living in an age where there is a new appreciation for the nerd, as he's finally taken his rightful place as an important and respected cornerstone of the world. Modern society would literally crumble without his knowledge and efforts, so surely this must make him powerful, desirable, and respected.
Think again.
All that's happened is that nerds are thought of at best as super beta bux ATMs, with insufferable personalities. At worst, those without a good job are just flat out repulsive with no redeeming qualities. Women in general, and feminists in particular hate nerds for everything except their money.
You're probably not physically attractive, and you probably don't have social skills either. As for status, your job certainly has no prestige. You're either a peon working for the management, or you're the king nerd managing other nerds. If you're judged by the people you command and all you command is a Poindexter, a video game addict, and the dude who watches too much anime, then you're really not showing much value of your own. If a woman wants to be the Queen, then she is surely not going to settle for Queen of the Nerds.
Pay close attention to what they're doing. They're taking your accommodation, your alliance, your sympathy... And they're chewing it up and spitting it right back in your face.
astefanik16 9y ago
Can you explain Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Steve Jobs, Steve Ballmer, Adolf Hitler, Albert Einstein, the founders of Google. These are all literally the most influential men of our time, whose work had has had an impact on every single human being on this earth, whose knowledge and efforts did make them the most powerful and respected men on this earth. Whether their inventions and power brought them women's desire is irrelevant, they still changed the very fundamentals of how we go about our daily lifes today.
You are basing a mans worth of what a women thinks of him, which to me is completely against redpill way of thinking. You say "Pay close attention to what they're doing. They're taking your accommodation, your alliance, your sympathy... And they're chewing it up and spitting it right back in your face.", but yet WHO THE FUCK CARES, these men landed a fucking probe, on a fucking rock, through mathematical calculations they made 20 years prior, and you're trying to make this about why being a nerd doesn't matter cause women want alphas.
I completely agree with you, a woman doesnt care whether a man can dominate numbers, she wants someone who can dominate her in bed, toss her around as though shes a ragdoll. But dude who gives a fuck, women are not all there is to life, I would rather be the dude that fucking lands a probe on a fucking comet, than the dude that slays a women in the bedroom. But thats just my 2 cents
robotghow 9y ago
This is not new. Seventy years ago, a small group of scientists built the the most powerful weapon ever created by man. It was a doomsday device, one that could literally wipe out countries off the map. Did everyone tremble before them? Were their opinions about how to use this weapon respected or taken into consideration? No and no. They got their prestige, but it was worthless. The power, as always, remained in the hands of politicians, who are the alpha version of middle management.
Are geeks becoming more and more important? Is a revolution coming? Even if so, it's going to take a fucking while.
Iupvoteforknowledge 9y ago
I think you just described how idiocracy is possible.
rebuildingMyself 9y ago
Some are happy to feign femininity long enough to get married to one, divorce-rape his ass, and live off the fruits of his labor like a slavemaster though
DarkCircle 9y ago
You'd think with all the people claiming to be geeks and nerds it would finally be cool to be one. Nope. Doing that is a way of taking geek culture and claiming to be cool, while denying it. These people would flip their shit if a need tried to talk to them.
stoicly_whimsical 9y ago
Nerd culture is definitely more seeped through into others now though.
I mean quite a few rappers have been making references to mario kart in their rhymes, Major Lazer and Remi.
The Empire Lifts Back tanks and tees.
You could rattle this shit off for days.
Hipster culture and this kind of new overblown faux manliness is very much based on cooler aspects of nerd culture and passion about often pretty geeky things when it boils down to it.
Nerd can be done in a cool, popular positive way or it can be the typical awkwardly annoying unwashed 'neckbeard' variety.
[deleted] 9y ago
One only has to look at places like Seattle and how much hate exists for successful nerds at Amazon and other companies to see the truth of this post. Feminists absolutely despise nerds, there's no other way to put it.
evafha 9y ago
No, feminists love nerds as betabux. They get livid about seeing them on Tinder but love to see them on eHarmony.
Wonkeye 9y ago
Who are these hypothetical people that are being so critical of the company or partners in which we associate ourselves with?
Honestly though.. I just don't see how your point even stands to reason as a valid form of argument, considering it's completely your opinion what constitutes a 'nerd'. I'm just going to go ahead and for the sake of the argument say 'nerd' here can be referred to as 'intelligent'.
Sometimes there are people who are 'intelligent', but of course given their heightened awareness and clearly obvious mental dominance.. there are certain social stigmas that have been placed in society to prevent them from gaining dominance from mind alone, possibly even by lesser fortunate individuals who sought to even the playing field.
Or maybe it's just a socio-biological thing of nature that has played out over time, where physical dominance always remains the superior factor in sustainable genetic structure.
anyway explain like you're 5.. Uhh, 'nerds' are just people born with the smarts to realize an education will get you far in life. This was a personal decision and not one based on women, though a good job obviously gets you paid and laid. Society over time has somehow made the 'nerd', or 'pointdexter' [ ? ] stereotype that you have emblazoned in your mind. It's simply how you see the world and other beings better, it's easier to associate them with a certain type of personality or trait. Though in my opinion the term 'nerd' will quickly become a moot word, or begin to allow for more room for interpretation.
tl;dr -> sorry for the rant, 'nerd' is a Bill O'Reilly kind of argument. Intelligent people obtain game changing knowledge for our society, and profit well from this.
If you think wearing glasses and using technology or tools you don't understand is "nerdy" then you are hung up on the same social stigmas as the girls you are chasing. Not exactly thinking outside of the box are we?
g4zda 9y ago
If you think that nerd just means intelligent, you're living in a cave and need to see Urkel in action. An intelligent person is just that, intelligent, and a nerd is someone that has poor social skills, doesn't have many friends and spends his time studying or playing video games (used to be Dungeons and Dragons). The ones that study get good and dependable jobs/careers so they're useful as BB.
And being dependable and having a good job are no substitute for social skills and will usually get him a trophy wife that will cuckold him and take half in a divorce.
PookIsLovePookIsLife 9y ago
Agreed.
Even in tech, you can have intelligent yet socially aware men, like Elon Musk or Steve Jobs. On the other hand, you can have someone like Terence Tao, the "genius award" winning professor from UCLA who was recently on the Colbert Report who is clearly quite socially awkward.
Most Americans working in tech tend towards socially awkward to autistic from what I've seen. Asians born in Asia are a different story, since many go into STEM fields purely for the career prospects.
The old "the odds are good, but the goods are odd" phrase has some truth to it.
yeahweewee 9y ago
the rise of the internet simply made nerds profitable, not cool great post
AreYouAware_ 9y ago
Indeed, not cool at all... But useful. Feminists see how desperate nerd culture in general is for female validation, and they play on that need to garner support. They make the nerds feel solidarity with them as fellow oppressed people. The line of thinking goes as such:
Surely if we stand up and help out our oppressed sisters in their fight against the evil cool-kids club known as Patriarchy, we'll prove ourselves to them as worthy men and mates.
So yes, they're in many ways the useful idiots of feminists. But certainly not cool nor desirable.
throaway1248gn 9y ago
What effect will the rise of Bitcoin have on "cool?" "Cool" seems to be promoted primarily by the culture of the underclass and the ruling class, so the death of welfare, both "social" and corporate, might ultimately destroy it.
mister_slfdest 9y ago
One only needs to see the donations to female streamers on twitch to realize that...
Redpillc0re 9y ago
Nerds could always usually get a decent job and many of them made money alongside the public-facing CEOs. The internet however provided a better gathering place that makes nerds feel less isolated.
yeahweewee 9y ago
no they couldn't, a vast majority of scientists and engineers make penny change
programmers even in shitty companies make decent money
aazav 9y ago
The difference here is the Dr. is a badass and is certainly an alpha. He's tatted up, he's a fucking doctor, he's got "don't fuck with me" style and his team landed a part of Earth on a fucking comet.
frequentlywrong 9y ago
His professional achievements don't make him an alpha in personal life. The two are completely separate. Like most nerds, he probably has poor social skills while being a badass at his job.
WardlyHasted 9y ago
I dunno... crying on national TV is pretty weak. Not that crying automatically makes you less of a man, but there's a time and a place for it.
Not to mention that someone like George Clooney or Russell Brand would have laughed at the fact that some woman was offended by their t-shirt.
vakerr 9y ago
You need to realize this was a really emotional moment for him to start with. Culmination of a decades long mission, achieving a first for humanity, and the goddam lander is running out of electricity. Guy is an absolute hero. I'm really, really upset with these goddamn cunts who stirred up petty shit right at this moment. This is why we can't have nice things.
_BEENTRILL_ 9y ago
C'mon, let the guy have his moment. Being a "man" doesn't mean you have to be a caricature. While I would try to avoid crying on national TV, you gotta look at the context of it
WardlyHasted 9y ago
I am looking at the context of it. He cried while making an apology to a bunch of feminists. An apology he was making because they told him they didn't like his shirt.
That's not something to cry about on national television.
kellykebab 9y ago
From what I've interpreted from TRP, being "alpha" basically means effectively managing one's social position, i.e. being a strong leader. Tattoos are a costume. They mean nothing. Holding a doctorate means you are smart and hard-working, not necessarily a leader. Wearing a "crazy" shirt means you either have a wacky sense of humor and a fun vibe or you are tone deaf to social conventions. Crying in public when you get in trouble for a non-issue strongly suggests the latter. Not very "alpha."
_BEENTRILL_ 9y ago
He led a 10 yr long mission SUCCESSFULLY and achieved something great for humanity. As far as I'm concerned, he could cry every time he's on national TV and still be "alpha" in my books
vakerr 9y ago
This guy just lead to success a decades long mission and achieved a first for humanity. That's way more leadership then some bro posturing. If only we had more leaders like him.
kellykebab 9y ago
Undoubtedly, this guy has achieved something exceptional. The crying and certainly the shirt do not take away from the fact that this guy is an impressive person. However, as I understand the concept, being alpha has a specific definition that has a lot to do with one's social ability, as it certainly does in the animal kingdom.
Taken by itself Taylor's career accomplishments might be evidence of "alphaness", but his crying provides strong evidence to the contrary.
Imagine if Obama broke down whenever North Korea insulted his leadership. Would we look up to him for this? Of course not! He'd be taking bullshit personally, a clear sign of weakness. Matt Taylor should have treated this issue the same way.
Final thought: one can be a worthwhile person, without being " alpha."
vakerr 9y ago
Herding cats through a major, ten year long mission does require significant social ability. My guess is that he was so emotionally overcome already from the culmination of mission and all, that he just didn't have anything left in the tank to deal with petty anklebiters.
BTW Obama is a bad example. I never looked up to him, he was a horrible (affirmative action) choice for prez.
kellykebab 9y ago
I agree.
I don't fully buy your other argument, though. Any politician or business leader who cried like this would not be perceived well in American society. I'm not sure leading a space mission is any more trying than running a major company or the entire U.S.
Would you respect Obama more if he cried? If not, the example remains relevant.
asdfghjkltyu 9y ago
While I agree 100% with your post, that the rise of the nerds is more to do with the rise of the voice of the nerds than anything else (because now the most vocal are the ones that control the internet, not the ones who control the local social events) I don't think you can necessarily say women look down upon nerds.
Women will appreciate anyone who is independent and sure if yourself, if your idea of that is sitting at home playing World of Warcraft in your spare time but you own it than you will do fine with women. I don't play WoW, but I know people who do it and have very attractive girlfriends.
At the end of the day all women care about is social opinion and we're starting to see a shift which means that kind of thing is perfectly ok. If fellow women don't necessarily look down on it and you're confident and comfortable about it (not hiding in shame) then it is ok.
Of course, traditional hobbies like socializing will always be seen as more important to women because that is typically their hobbie too.
dhump 9y ago
Hobbies and women don't typically go together. Sometimes I wonder if they're even capable of having them. The closest I've ever personally witnessed are generally anything they are in to, they have gotten into because of the guy they're with. Past that, it usually covers the "broad" spectrum of things like Avon, True Romance parties, and Facebook as a "hobby".
desylid 9y ago
I have personally met women with specific hobbies, but this hobby usually seems to be an obsession. It is their identity. (e.g. If a girl enjoys House music, she incessantly describes herself as House music.)
I used to be annoyed by women who have no hobbies. Now it's preferable to me to a woman who has 1.
asdfghjkltyu 9y ago
They sometimes are kind of the most generic sport fans, but sport fans in a way that doesn't really understand sport that well. For instance they'll have a NFL team they follow, but don't get any aspects of the game or how it works. Basically just a cheer squad.
dhump 9y ago
Personally, I have a very hard time considering watching sports a hobby.
_BEENTRILL_ 9y ago
This all implies that there is an objective opinion for "nerd"
The traditionally "nerdy" interests and hobbies are far more socially acceptable now than they used to be. Obviously not get-you-laid acceptable like being a good sports player or whatever, but the idea of the stereotypical nerd isn't necessarily a basement dweller anymore, which is good for confident guys who like traditional "nerdy" hobbies.
Your hobbies don't inherently say anything about you as a person, imo
whatsazipper 9y ago
On the contrary, they often say the most about a person, as hobbies are what a person does out of personal enjoyment.
_BEENTRILL_ 9y ago
I guess I mean that just because you enjoy nerdy things doesn't inherently make you a beta fag.
A hobby tells you about what they enjoy doing for fun but not any more about their character. There are drastically different people that share the same hobbies
Krackor 9y ago
Yeah, that's kind of the hobby equivalent of "sleeping with tons of guys doesn't make her a slut".
_BEENTRILL_ 9y ago
But that's more of a direct result of an action
Outside of generalizations, what does it reflect on someone's character that they enjoy programming, or collecting models, or whatever other "nerdy" hobby? Not really much.
Of course these stereotypes exist for a reason and I would even say a majority of the people who enjoy these things are super beta, enjoying these things themselves doesn't inherently make you socially awkward
Krackor 9y ago
It might not say specifically that you're socially awkward. It certainly does say something about you though, even if that something is just that you enjoy that hobby. Your actions define you, even when those actions are just for a hobby.
_BEENTRILL_ 9y ago
You're right, maybe I should've rephrased my original argument to convey more that your hobbies don't necessarily mean you fall into the general stereotype of that hobby.
I just think that basing your life around a caricature of what a "man" should be is beta in itself - picking your hobbies not because you enjoy them but rather because they fit a stereotype of "manly" hobbies - basically leading your life to someone else's codes.
Krackor 9y ago
Of course. Create your own frame, instead of conforming to someone else's, even if their frame is called "alpha".
ExistentialDread 9y ago
This is exactly why women shouldn't work in STEM. They want to slam on the brakes and dogpile anyone who hurts their feelings. That's not the way science works. Science isn't a democracy, and it doesn't care about your feelings.
Here2lrn 9y ago
It's a bullshit overreaction, but that's the world we live in right now. Take the world as it is, not as you'd like it to be. If you have to do any kind of public speaking; put a damn suit on and have a pre-rehearsed speech with lots of politically correct goodness.
vakerr 9y ago
On one hand you're right, that is the safe thing to do. On the other hand if no one stands up to these destructive morons they will just keep demanding more and more. They need to be told that they are morons and need to fuck off.
TakeYourSoma1 9y ago
Appeasement: not even once.
ThePedanticCynic 9y ago
The problem is women live longer than men, don't die in wars, and aren't involve in industrial accidents; so they are the majority vote. Politicians want the woman vote, and have shown they're willing to sell us out to do it.

JustTryingToMaintain 9y ago
Men have done nothing but start wars since it became possible to start them...so I guess you have the power and tons of practice too.
What is TRP other than building up anger and anxiety in confused males and hoping the tension leads to even more domestic violence and uber macho bullshit? Think about it.
vezokpiraka 9y ago
This is not the place for trolling. I am not going to go out and beat the first woman I come across. This is an issue related to the bigger picture.
JustTryingToMaintain 9y ago
1) I'm not trolling 2) Numbers don't lie, check out the statistics for all physical violence. Even if you don't go out and beat the first woman you come across some other guy is beating, raping, killing women. 3) What bigger picture are you talking about and how is your post addressing it and mine isn't?
TheSKSpecial 9y ago
Except, y'know, lesbian couples have higher domestic violence rates than heterosexual ones, mothers have higher rates of violence against their children than fathers, and domestic violence is equally likely to be perpetrated by women as men.
https://mainweb-v.musc.edu/vawprevention/lesbianrx/factsheet.shtml
vezokpiraka 9y ago
Show me the studies you have that prove 50% of men abuse women. The bigger picture I'm referring to is that of the mindset of feminism and not on each individual woman.
And lastly, you are indeed trolling and this conversation is over.
JustTryingToMaintain 9y ago
I never said 50% of men abuse women.
JovianTrainWreck 9y ago
This completely reinforces my belief that feminists are just begging to be hate-fucked. It's not rape if they're begging for it
Joking aside, this shit should really be in the national news cycle. It won't be, because news media is in bed with feminism. Which pisses me off. I'm no expert on social media, but can't we use it to bring attention to this issue?? There are enough people out there that are sick and tired of feminism for this to gain traction! If 'gamergate' or whatever can hit the spotlight, why can't this?
mercuryg 9y ago
This situation is how you know civilization is really heading downhill.
It's a technological milestone that'll be in the history books, and the amount of effort behind it is well beyond what these feminists can even begin to comprehend.
And now one of the scientists that made this happen, a genius with probably a hundred times the mental capacity of all these feminists combined, is subject to a witch hunt because his SHIRT WAS OFFENSIVE.......
God damnit guys....i'm past the anger phase, or so i thought, because seeing this picture just makes my fucking blood boil.

I'm a hiring manager at a STEM job, and I do everything I can to avoid hiring women. They're just too risky. Not only the feminazi risk, but so many of them are mothers -- demanding to come in a 10am and leave by 3pm to take care of their precious babies. If you don't let them or try to explain you are expecting an 8 hour workday, get ready for HR meetings and sensitivity training and all that. No guys are sitting around whining that 5 hours is too much work.
balalasaurus 9y ago
What bothers me the most about this is the fact that feminazis everywhere are always going on about 'false standards of beauty' and how 'patriarchy forces women to dress a certain way'. What they've clearly done is force a standard on a person and dictated what they should and should not wear. Yet this same imposition is branded as a 'victory' for social justice. It's honestly pathetic.
monsieurhire2 9y ago
Hmmmm... I was expecting more blubbering. It seemed like he was faking being upset, and that guy that patted him on the back with a smirk on his face. Yeah, I dunno. He seemed to get a little choked up, but it could have easily just been allergies. Looks like people took the bait.
Also, you have to love how they're shaming him for crying. But had he not expressed remorse, they would have also been kicking him for being insensitive.
He could have also spun it as "celebrating the beauty of women's bodies" with a smirk on his face.
dicklord_airplane 9y ago
that's idiotic. you'll miss out on a lot of quality people if you assume that all women are terrible, and that will reduce your competitive edge in the market. women who actually have the drive to succeed in STEM are often different from these radfems, which is evident by the fact that lots of women work for Matt Taylor and did not raise any alarm over that silly shirt and his antics. my boss is an old female hippie who's extremely valuable in the oil industry, and my company would've been retarded if they avoided her just because she's a woman. most of my team in seismic processing for oil exploration are young women now, and they don't care about that guy's shirt either because they are serious, dedicated scientists. not all women are tainted by radfemmery, especially not amongst serious STEMers, trust me.
i'm warning you that other professional STEM men will lose respect for you if you go around spouting this idiotic, prejudiced, narrow minded nonsense. cut that shit out and judge people as individuals, or else the good ones will be sure the avoid you and you'll be living in your self-fulfilling prophecy.

Champagne-And-Reefer 9y ago
Agree with everything she said until she got to "if you care about women in science." Overall, she's right about it not being appropriate but it boils down to professionalism. He shouldn't have worn that shirt but that doesn't make him oppressing any women.
Hokuto199x 9y ago
This is the part that pisses me off. She's a woman in science. She should be saying "if you have the passion and aptitude for science this guy's shirt would not hold you back..."
Instead she for some reason went into girl power mode instead of looking at it rationally. She's an astrophysicist ffs; she has no excuse!

Makes me seriously wonder if there's something fishy with how she obtained her credentials. Was it on her knees like Zoe Quinn?

Nobody sane cares about "women in science". Those that can hack it, good for them. Whiny, crazy, destructive, attention whoring, drama queen cunts can fuck right off.
Sane scientists (if they didn't know it yet) have now learned not to risk having women anywhere near any important team.

This is what I hate about feminism. It completely goes backwards on itself and gives women an even worse reputation by stupid shit like this.
vakerr 9y ago
There are plenty of other reasons to hate feminism.

What is important to do when faced with something like this is to parry it off and keep on trucking. No matter what your accomplishments are people WILL find something wrong with it especially when it is posted nationwide. So fuck them right in the pussy for petty shit.
vakerr 9y ago
This could have been the perfect moment to put feminists to their place:
"Ladies and gentlemen, I just lead my team to achieve the greatest victory for mankind since the lunar landing. (wait for applause to die down) If all feminists can think of at such a time is a shirt, then it clearly shows how petty and dumb they are. Me and several million other guys really like this shirt. If you have a problem with it go pound sand. Thank you, this is the end of my statement."
thrway1312 9y ago
Unfortunately he was in a position such that he was speaking for the ESA; his superiors would never allow such a reasonable yet controversial statement.
u-r-silly 9y ago
Dude, women in STEM fields aren't bitches whining over a shirt on the internet. They have better stuff to do. The feminists were butthurt about a shirt instead of caring about the accomplishement. It just shows uneducated they are.
HonestyVersusPC 9y ago
Honestly I don't think feminists are even actually offended by a lot of the things they pretend to be offended about. In a lot of cases they just see things like this as opportunities to undermine successful men. It's about power and justifying themselves.

Krackor 9y ago
It's telling how much difference there is between students in something like astrophysics (which almost exclusively funnels into academia or a bureaucratic government organization) and something like MechE which funnels mostly into private industry.
thrway1312 9y ago
To be fair I'm completing pre-reqs at a CC; many of my classmates are also CS, (astro)physics, EE, chem, math, etc. majors.
I don't think any of my major classes (including very low level math) had >20% of female enrollment; all my soft science electives -- anthro, psych, archeo, philos, socio, etc. -- were at least 50-60% women.
vpwnz 9y ago
This is exceptionally on-point. I imagine if I was a guy in charge of hiring peeps, every event like this would just remind me to avoid hiring women just as a precautionary measure / screen them extra hard.

Dear genius, don't say shit like this. If you're actually starting up your own business (big if), you need to be able to avoid publicly admitting to have an illegal hiring policy. Say lots less in general, listen to those in this sub who are past the anger phase. Contribute only after you've caught up.
You're a brand new account that's just posting about how much you resent women. It's incredibly transparent.
cocaine_face 9y ago
Isn't it illegal to do that?
qwertthrowaway 9y ago
Not hiring women based on that alone is illegal, yes. But 1) 95% applying will be men and 2) there was just another better candidate... who happens to be a man.
robot-b 9y ago
You can't refuse to hire someone because of their sex, that would be discrimination
but if someone wants to sue you under any antidiscrimination laws, they generally have to prove it. So unless you have made it clear to them by saying it or by having it written down as a policy, it will be hard to prove.
you just have to have some kind of interview and assessment system that you can point to which selects the best candidate.
Sometimes there is mandatory 'gender' reporting requirements but this is only really an issue for bigger companies, and even then they cannot force you to hire women but you may have feminist organisations run a boycott against you because of perceived discrimination if your workforce is all men.
IdiotPedant 9y ago
Yes, it's very illegal and not even a smart policy. The "feminists" stirring the shit aren't the ones competing for skilled work in the tech field, they are probably unemployable twitter and tumblr users. The two worlds rarely meet, they wouldn't make it to an interview in the first place.
The user that posted what you're responding to is a new reddit account that only posts about how he doesn't like women. He's got like 3 upvotes because occasionally people encourage immature anti-woman shit in threads where we are discussing a feminist is being an asshole. Don't encourage or take these people at their word. They're angry, that's all they are. There's no depth or wisdom to it.

At least The Telegraph gets it
I was getting worried that we were the only people talking about the absurdity here. I just don't get it, this idea that being offended is justification (for anything). Being offended does not establish that anything is actually wrong. Being offended only indicates what the offended party is willing to spend energy expressing themselves about, which they should do with a therapist. I can remember specifically being told to "brush it off," "turn the other cheek," "move on," and "let it roll right off your back," all throughout childhood. When was it ever cool to be the complainer in the group?
Interesting side note: did y'all see the oiled up amateur pornstar on the cover of Paper? What a strong role model.
CognitiveVortex 9y ago
Is there someway we can write directly to Dr Matt Taylor? Or show our support somehow?
This blatant misandry which is somehow accepted by the mainstream just blows my mind. This man should never have been made to feel this way over a fucking shirt.

ArchetypalSage 9y ago
This whole story is just beyond bizarre...and the craziest thing is that several of the articles on mainstream media outlets that were bashing Matt Taylor were actually written by DUDES.
For instance, the one posted on The Verge was not only penned by a guy but had a significant amount of male SJWs supporting the nonsense in the comment section.
Also, the insanity level is absolutely amazing. Rocket-scientist who just achieved the impossible celebrates dressed in a shirt with cartoons of sexy women and is shamed to such intensity that he goes on to issue a crying apology...
Meanwhile America's #1 girl Kim K is showing off her naked ass on the cover of some magazine and we get articles like "Moms can be sexy too. Stop slut-shaming Kim Kardashian" on Vox(dot)com (which is actually The Verge's parent company).
So hey which one is it? Sexy Women = Sexist and Demeaning or Sexy Women = Strong and Indepent? The answer is obviously whichever will benefit them the most at any given moment.
StinkyDiaper 9y ago
Consolation: the "men" writing those articles have horribly weak sex lives - I guarantee it.

elderstorm 9y ago

Sandkasten 9y ago
This whole story just confirmed my views on an alarming trend. The unbelievable power SJWs have. It is a small group but loud as fuck. Companies/people are so afraid about political correctness that even a downright ridiculous bagatelle is handled like a Watergate scandal.
What power did SJW have in this situation? I mean if Dr Matt Taylor and the whole European Space Agency just ignored this pathetic outcry there is nothing SJW could have done to seriously harm Dr Matt Taylor. Seriously what can they do if you just ignore them? Start a petition because of a shirt? Send him death threats to his Twitter account? Maybe I'm missing something but in my opinion the mistake was to take this seriously.
This is what makes me angry and ashamed. Every intelligent person knows how pathetic it is. The majority knows it. But nobody oppose this bullshit. His employer made him apology instead of supporting him. Like I said I see no serious harm if both, ESA and Dr Matt Taylor, just ignored it. After two weeks SJW would have a new scandal to talk about. His employer threw him under the bus. Dr Matt Taylor had two options: An apology or stand his ground and refuse to apology/ignore it. Do you really think ESA would have fired him if he just refused to apology? I don't think so. But without the support of his employer he felt pressured to apology or even worse, he is so wimpy that he thought he had to. I guess his tears lead on to the conclusion that he is a wuss.
The whole situation is just disgraceful. I'm even more mad/ashamed of Dr Matt Taylor and ESA than of SJWs. You can sum it up with the word fremdschämen.
WhiteE350 9y ago
I say never apologize. Unless you fucked something up and you are taking responsibility as a man. Because even when most people apologize they get fired anyway.
Why not keep your fucking dignity and focus on the reason your in the spotlight in the first place. What are the feminists and SJW's going to do? Are they going to run around mission control and pull the fire alarms and start bullhorning the scientists?
People need to stop enforcing rules that don't exist. By apologizing you are only lending to the legitimacy of bullshit unwritten rules.
ArchetypalSage 9y ago
Yeah I agree he handled it like a wuss, with the crying and apologies...yikes.
But you know, this is a feat that exists far beyond of what the average human could ever dream to achieve.
Think about the moment when the Philae lander touched the Comet. That's literally one of greatest achievements of mankind, acomplished with technologies developed by the brightest of our species over centuries of sweat and blood.
It outshines the great pyramids, magellan's circumnavigation, michelangelo's pieta, the freaking moon landing...you name it.
So regardless of how he handled it, the fact that lesser men and women get to shame one of the minds involved in this amazing feat and ruin his big day just pisses me the fuck off.
User-31f64a4e 9y ago
Well, perhaps his options were constrained by the ESA - after all, it is a European political entity. As such, it will be highly sensitive to issues of public relations. I would be shocked if he wasn't called into an upper management office and ordered to apologize in order to salvage the scraps of his former career.
This is total bullshit; feminists complain coverage of Clinton, Thatcher and Palin dwells overmuch on what they are wearing ... then that's their primary concern with a rocket scientist who just accomplished the amazing.
vakerr 9y ago
Any private space company would be happy to hire the lead scientist of such a mission. I'd have made my own statement (no apologies), and quit if the bosses have a fit.

Scrubera 9y ago
You do realize that being a feminist only means that you believe woman should have equal rights and pay to men. If you disagree with that than you are about as low as a bigot.
Nerf_Circus 9y ago
facta, non verba
Deeds, not words.
You(/u/Scrubera) can quote that definition of feminism as much as you like, but I will judge feminism not on what people say when they are trying to make it look good, but on what they do.
Published feminists this week came out with some interesting stuff. Jessica Valenti [think we should solve the pay gap by paying men less] and Patricia O'Brien thinks jail is to a severe punishment for women. These are the actions of PUBLISHED feminists. Are they striving for equity? Please while constructing a reply leave out the 'no true Scotsman' fallacy.
StasisNation 9y ago
But women in the west already get equal rights and pay to men, despite not being equal.
Where is the logic in that?
rtf111 9y ago
I disagree with lots of things that you said and I am not a bigot. checkmate.
hairaware 9y ago
I hope he does something equally great later on. realizes this was stupid and wears an even more offensive shirt.
MaegorTheCruel 9y ago
Funny how they said he deserved it because of what he was wearing. Doesn't that sound familiar? And they say you shouldn't judge a girl for what she's wearing, and if she gets raped when she's wasted and dressed like a slut that she didn't deserve it regardless. But now they're crucifying a man for wearing a shirt of women. You know what I hate about most women? How personally they take things. Like, don't like his shirt? Don't fucking think about it. End of story. They're trying to force their insecurities on everyone and they've ruined this man's biggest day of his life. If I could smack every tumblr feminazi who participated in this witch hunt, I would. Additionally, I'd also rip out their uterus so they can't possibly pass along their horrible ideals and double standards. Fucking pathetic.
iamnotfromtexas90 9y ago
For all those saying this was an American feminist thing, you are mistaken. GB is so fucking conquered by the left-feminist it's shocking.
HatredsBlazingGun 9y ago
If this is what happens when you include women in things, I'm happy to keep them out.
Our ancestors were likely wise to exclude women from certain things.
niczar 9y ago
The shirt was made by a woman. The outrage was started by feminazi men.
Nerf_Circus 9y ago
It's got nothing to do with women, just bigots.
vakerr 9y ago
No. If you allow females to invade male spaces, they seek to make it safe for dem feelz and ruin it in the process.
jmg83 9y ago
I know plenty of women who are made of sterner stuff than this. I have a lot of respect for them. It's the overly-emotional, overly-opinionated idiots who ruin it for the rest of them. Years ago, some woman who thought she was my girlfriend would cry if I didn't talk for five minutes. It's women like her who I, personally, would keep out of important places.
ThePedanticCynic 9y ago
Not all women are feminists. It's important to keep that in mind.
[deleted] 9y ago
This isn't even about feminism. This is about women getting emotional and offended over petty things.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHMoDt3nSHs#t=201
648262 9y ago
You have a good point, but one of the problems with feminism is that it isn't defined. Ask ten people what it is and they will give ten different answers, and some of those answers could be answers to other things as well (humanism, etc).
And regarding the post you commented on: Is it beneficial to let women into typical male-only spaces?
JustTryingToMaintain 9y ago
Why not let women into typical male only spaces? You sound like you are attempting to draw a parallel between male only spaces and female only spaces. Such a parallel can not really exist until men are being raped, beat and killed by WOMEN rather than other men at the same rate as women being raped, beat and killed by men.
There's no real comparison and men do not need "safe places" to guard against anything women may physically do to them.
648262 9y ago
The parallel does exist. It is about feeling safe, right?
What women fear most if physical abuse as they are not built to handle that well.
What men fear most is psychological abuse as they are not built to handle that well.
Men are fragile in that aspect.
JustTryingToMaintain 9y ago
If you had to choose between being sodomized and left for dead or having someone of the opposite sex make you feel emotionally or mentally hurt which would you choose?
Please keep in mind, I'm not trying to downplay how awful psychological abuse can be, it is a horrible thing no doubt. However, most severe psychological abuse happens over a span of time by people that you are close to.
I've never heard of any guys being like "I just stopped to put gas in my car and then this girl said my hat looked stupid and her friends laughed. I don't know what the point in living is now and all I want to do is cry." Similarly, I don't know of any support groups for men that have a STEM related career and have suffered psychological abuse to the extent they worried they would be killed by a female coworker.
We are ALL (male and female) psychologically fragile. Women have to deal with physical threats PLUS the psychological stuff and men just don't.
648262 9y ago
Those two options are basically the same. It is not about what gender is doing the it really.
I really don't think the actual penetration is that bad, it's the emotional concept of getting fucked that is the problem, and why the two options are identical.
To change it a bit; I'd rather take a beating than having someone make me feel emotionally or mentally hurt.
Me neither. Why bring it up?
Killing is a physical act. It's not women who excel at these things, it is men. I have heard of countless men getting emotionally dependent on women, get fucked by that same woman, and the men then proceed to kill themselves.
The suicide ratio between women and men is staggering in the direction of men. Why?
Men do not talk about things, which is why you hardly see support groups for men. We deal with shit, we don't talk about it and makes us feel like victims. We take that shotgun and put it to the place that hurts and remove the problem altogether. Effective as shit.
And what does STEM have to do with it?
JustTryingToMaintain 9y ago
STEM jobs are where someone on this thread suggested making an all male safe place.
You are tripping when you compare the man's CHOICE to kill himself with the woman being beaten and murdered. It's funny how in the thread about refusing to go to the couch if you upset your wife and instead telling HER she can CHOOSE to go to the couch herself is totally fine and yet if a man makes a choice that's a totally different vibe and suddenly the other person is responsible for their own choices.
zoidberg318x 9y ago
Wrong place to say that. The two top comments:
Literally every single woman alive does not ever belong in STEM fields because this small sample group represents literally every single one of women's actions everywhere.
Before you post here, make sure that you remember that literally every single person part of a group of the one acting out makes them all the same. It's better to say "THESE women are atrocious" to talk to people like this. It won't infuriate them as they will exchange "these" with "all" and you can discuss something normally.
This does not mean I don't disagree with this sub on the actions of specific groups such as whom are being called "feminazis". Just that are currently talking to the other side of the spectrum right now. In fact, I think both sides are entitled to their own opinions, regardless of how much I disagree.
rednukleus 9y ago
Gosh they really cracked him, huh. I would have said nothing, made no public comment about it, and retired the shirt. Maybe I would state that it was a gift handmade by a female friend. Other than that I would let it die out on its own. I can't even watch his apology after he starts to cry. His apology surely fell on deaf ears.
stickfiguresk 9y ago
Is this what the female SJWs want? If it is, this is clearly sadistic and they get sexual pleasure from it.
antwonedw 9y ago
Periodic table is sexist. It has Helium. Where's Shelium
kick6 9y ago
This is exactly what they want. They're forever jealous of male pride, and will find a backdoor way to shit on it at every turn.
Here2lrn 9y ago
Nah, they just want to be told that they're the victim. That the reason they're not working in science is because the man is stopping them, not because they're not good enough.
Ratcheta 9y ago
And yet they are equal or better, apparently.
evafha 9y ago
I don't think it's that they're not good enough, more like, very few of them want to make the sacrifices required to land a spaceship on a comet. What was Isaac Newton doing when he was 22? Staying up late in his room studying math and physics, not going on Tinder dates and getting free drinks.
Here2lrn 9y ago
Personally, I don't want to make those sacrifices either. But I'm not kicking and screaming and demanding the standards be lowered to accommodate my lazy, party boy ass.

I've been linked to some feminist shithole website, which name I gladly forgot, with an article on that issue and I couldn't finish reading it, because my fucking blood began boiling.
The inevitable conclusion, which that cunt drew was, that "subtle misgynistic things like these are the cause because women feel uncomfortable entering the STEM field".
No they are not you envious, solipsistic asshole. Most women simply aren't interested in that stuff. Big news, huh?
Besides of that most of the women lack the dedication to end up in such a position and be able to execute such a delicate task, because you are just lazy beings who will only do the bare minimum you are required to, but still feel like you deserve a "Worker of the year"-medal once you accomplish the goals set in your contracts. You won't learn how to stear such a machine from making your orbiting co-workers do the work for you, while you cash in the rewards.
As a European it also leaves me baffled, how such non-news can have this big of an impact. Over here he would have been shamed for his bad taste at most. I mean, come on, it indeed is a shitty shirt, but I don't believe anybody would have mentioned it all.
I've just got the hopes, that this is this guy's wake up call, and in five years, he won't be such a blue-pill-pussy anymore.

Pussy or not, he's still a brilliant man, who has potentially set humanity on a new course. Personally, in his position, I'd have told them all to fuck off. Then again, I'm not as smart as he is, so I wouldn't be in his position.

By that reasoning, I have no business listening to music because I myself can't play a musical instrument for shit. I might not have the aptitude for mathematics that I wish I had, but that doesn't mean I can't think that landing a fucking spacecraft on a comet is amazing. In a world where the media goes nuts for weeks just because a girl shakes her ass on TV, or something stupid like that, surely looking up to people who are actually achieving something is a good thing?
asd1100 9y ago
Art is not a skill.
In a world where "going nuts" is a judgement of value, absolutely. I do not share my appreciation in the same way. From my prespective both the amasement in regards to an ass and in regards to assumtion about how hard it is to land on a comet(spoiler alert, the size is a bigger issue than the speed) are just as unfounded. The least one is just more pretentious.
OP referenced the disappearance of the RSD guy. That I respect more because it takes a calculated detached dude to not engage with the crowd. There is no doubt in my mind that I would have more in common with Taylor than the PUA(I like smart people) but if put in a situation requiring grit where I would need to relly on one of them, I would go 98% with the PUA. (I leave the 2 % in case the guy was bullied into that humiliation or the PUA really did fuck up royally and is now hiding) That is a expression of respect, that is a reward for caracter

An interesting observation is that the only place I've seen mention of his shirt and feminists problem with it is in TRP. Though that might say more about me and where I read my news than anything else.
The dude is a hero in my book though. yes, he apologized when he should not have, but his achievement is in science - not in being a man.

I don't visit it much. I unsubscribed to more or less all of those.

How do feminists rejoice? Are they just slightly less pissed-off than usual?

Please have a stress ball ready. This is their 'arguement'
paraphrasing Katie mack's twit(the bigot that wrote it) we employ the slippery slope fallacy to full effect and say it might as well be every aspect of his life is just as misogynist as his shirt, which was made by a woman LOL.
thrway1312 9y ago
Jesus christ this is obnoxious: claiming anecdotal evidence as supporting a hypothesis, all under the guise of 'good science'.
The hamster is never-ending and these disgusting
womenfeminists never falter in their short-sighted efforts to change society for the benefit of some idealized young girl that's so blatantly oppressed she can't help but drop her cosmology studies for cosmetology.WardlyHasted 9y ago
This is classic feminist logic.
"It offends me, and I'm a woman, therefore it is offensive to all women." I brought this shit up with my best friend's gf and she laughed her ass off at how pathetic these women were.

That is clearly one of the reasons that women dont go to STEM. Reason #2 is that it's hard. Higher order nonlinear equations are oppressive and patriarchal, as has been clearly and scientifically proven by generations of feminist warriors. Reason #3 is it requires work and original thinking. Let's admit it the universe has bent its laws to favor men. It's impossible for a sensitive woman to work with such hostile nature.
As men, we really need to work hard to change the universe so that we can finally have magical unicorns in STEM fields, gentlemen. They are then Only Ones who can teach us how to dress.
Shellworld 9y ago
Whenever this man looks back on the greatest achievement of his life it will be looked back on by him with shame and humiliation. I don't think women understand the psychological repercussions that a man will face after crying publicly on camera. It's one thing to say "Oh, he's a real man who isn't afraid to show his feelings. Being a mature grown man this wont phase him"... But really, they fucked up his life and tarnished his life's work. Tomorrow he could discover a method for limitless energy, but he'd avoid announcing it due to anxiety over public humiliation.
tatti_ke_tukde 9y ago
This wasn't some class project. It was probably the highlight of his career, something which will be a significant memory for him. Imagine if someone ruins it like this for you. How do you justify this? This is the main reason I am pissed of and genuinely feel bad for him. There are better ways this could've been communicated to him if it was really a problem (In private)
No one has the right to steal and spoil this great and memorable moment like this from anyone. It is a crime in my eyes.
The sense of entitlement these people feel is dangerous. Some guy commented a couple of days back on trp saying we are a generation of people who are entitled to every fucking thing in the world.
Also, I was reminded of this video
http://youtu.be/vzmbW4ueGdg
where a tranny SJW, when given the opportunity to ask a question to one of the greatest programmers of our generation, asks whether he is doing anything to fairly represent trannies in the oculus team. Any programmer with a rational Britain would feel honoured to speak to John and look how this SJW utilised such a golden opportunity.

I would like to try an experiment. I would make breakthrough in female health science, and I'm going to wear the same shirt in the public announcement.
Let's see what the feminists are going to focus on.
(Well, I'm not a scientist so I can't really carry out this experiment. But I do encourage anyone who is in this field to do this)
trpSenator 9y ago
I feel like I missed all the RSD shit... Any one have a link to that video that pissed them off and the follow FB response?
rebuildingMyself 9y ago
He should have made a video with his female friend defending the shirt.
john-b 9y ago
I don't see how that scientist could have failed the shit test. It's so easy to pass. As the feminists rage at you, just put on the biggest shit eating grin you possibly can. If you know how fucking ridiculous they are, it would be as if you are smiling at children. You don't break down & start crying. Turn the computer off, do some light reading & go about your day as if nothing happened.
tatti_ke_tukde 9y ago
He probably has never met anyone so stupid yet bold enough like that reporter. When I met or shared the room with ultra smart people, I knew to shut up and listen and talk only if I really knew my shit. Reporters don't have in depth knowledge of any topic in the world. Couple that with an SJW mindset and you've created the perfect entitled cunt.
cashmoney_x 9y ago
Notice the woman in the video SUPPRESSING A SMIRK when he starts to cry?
It's all there folks, all of it. Just gotta look.
Transmigratory 9y ago
Haven't seen the feminists in question complain, but I'll willing to hazard a guess and say they're ugly and/or fat.
Nerf_Circus 9y ago
That's pretty much ticket to ride the feminist hate train. With the exception of the new wave of tumblr feminists are majority of the attractive feminists, guessing once they hit their 20's and ovaries start screaming to reproduce they are going to forget what a rape culture promoting jerk the college quarter back is.
aazav 9y ago
The bitches are claiming sexual assault for wearing a t shirt?
Yeah, sure. I can see their logic. Their ovaries are being oppressed again. By their own defective sense of reality.
We all need to get that shirt.
jungleman4545 9y ago
From now on, I'm gonna get 'offensive' shirts and wear them everywere.
jrdnsln 9y ago
I don't even wanna watch this. You would think Feminists would be excited about humanity getting one step closer to populating a planet without men.
ThePedanticCynic 9y ago
You misunderstand. They don't want us gone, they want us enslaved.
iamnotfromtexas90 9y ago
I'm glad this is here! I felt the same! This needs more visibility.
konoplya 9y ago
he seems to be taking this shit way too hard. i'd laugh at all these people and keep wearing the shirt.
SariaLystra 9y ago
Nobody should be laughing or talking shit about feminists right now. You should be fucking terrified. Who cares about how irrational they are? The point is that they have ruined a man's life because he wore something they didnt like all on a whim, even though he did NOTHING wrong.
This isn't the first time its happened. Adria Richards at Pycon did exactly the same thing. She got 2 men fired because they were having a conversation between themselves and she heard something she didnt like and paints herself as Joan of Arc.
You should all be scared shitless.
Maybe we should start talking about a contingency plan for any man who is caught in a similar situation.
Psychedelic_Leg 9y ago
Scared of feminists, lmao, bro you got it all wrong, fight not flight
niggertron9000 9y ago
Then she got fucking fired for being the cock–juggling thundercunt she is by alienating the same people she was hired to evangelize to.
lightfire409 9y ago
The more sinister take is this guy knew exactly what to say to drive hundreds of thousands of clicks to his article. But its likely this dude truly believes they fucking shirt the scientist wore is a problem. So fuck him either way.
beginner_ 9y ago
I don't care what that guy wears and the reaction to the shirt are ridiculous but let's be honest it's kind of a dumb choice and shows he is pretty oblivious and lacks self-awareness, eg. almost omega type like albeit he doesn't look like an omega.
makingitpurple 9y ago
There are many times I feel I'm passed up for an opportunity because of my gender, so it's not something I can't sympathize with - but I don't see why a t-shirt would stop me.
I don't recognize this (move?) as feminist; things like this make my blood boil. At the end of the day, I believe the core principle is to treat everybody equally, with respect and empathy.
truchisoft 9y ago
Please put this in mra and avoid polluting TRP
Zekohl 9y ago
It makes me happy that this wasn't covered at all in german media, while germany might be on a steep decline, the level of feminist BS apparently isn't as high over here.

What have been the concrete consequences to Matt Taylor's career?
My impression is that he's received some bad press in blogs and on Twitter. However, he works in an industry that is still (mostly) shrouded from the press and not particularly reliant on public opinion.
Am I ignorant of some part of the story? He's not losing his job, right?
[deleted] 9y ago
[deleted]
Shellworld 9y ago
He's dedicated his life to education and the pursuit of higher knowledge, plus he's from England which has similar cultural emasculation issues to other Western countries like the United States and Australia so it's quite "natural" for him to respond in this way. Not everyone has the time or the need to dedicate to redpill, and some men are sensitive. Combined with pressure from his workplace as well as being on camera after a sleepless night riddled with anxiety over this artificial controversy putting his life's achievement on backstage I'd say his response is warranted. You're just putting on a bullshit show of alpha bravado, probably because you're still in the anger phase. You should work on that.

None of this is a part of my life, or of anyone I know. I would advise you to simply not associate with anyone who would participate in either side of this.
Ah, this sub is now filled with people who make feminists the focal point of their lives? Oh, and there are people here who want to support the kind of guy who goes on television to tearfully apologize to feminists for not doing anything wrong? Okay, enjoy your feminists and your pansies.
[deleted] 9y ago
No idea why you're being downvoted. This whole thread (and all the others like it) reeks of anti-feminist, I-hate-women butthurt, which is one of this sub's biggest problems. Has nothing to do with sexual strategy or self-improvement. OP even admitted himself that he's aware it doesn't belong here.
Tsilent_Tsunami 9y ago
A huge percentage of these new people over the past couple years are from those "worst subreddit?" threads, so the quality level is not exactly high to begin with. It's really become pretty pathetic here as the subscriber base has grown. Dunno if the occasional worthwhile post from the mods is enough to offset the kidstink any longer.
redditor1618 9y ago
Can be filed under BluePill example.
Don't listen to what women say. Don't apologize for how your actions make somebody feel.
Tsilent_Tsunami 9y ago
Can this comment be explained?
Reading the comments in this thread, I was struck by how prominent these things called feminists are in these commenters lives. What kind of person would pay any attention to them?
As a follow-up, what kind of person would pay attention to the kind of person who would hang on the every word of feminists?
