The feeling of finishing your very first full pull up ever. You shaved a lot of weight, you started doing basic strengthening exercise. You improved in little steps and now you hit the milestone. One. You've earned the right to pronounce out loud the rep number. Yet, you know that the journey, far from over, is barely just starting.
That's how I felt yesterday. It's been around 8 months since my ex decided our marriage was not making her happy and left. I found the red pill at pretty much the same time. I've been improving and working hard on me. Fitness, nutrition and work.
Last week I matched a girl on tinder. Talked little with her but she seemed interested from the beginning. After a day, I arranged a meeting at Starbucks that lead to tacos and ended with us in her car making out.
After bringing her to my place, which she didn't want at first, we continue making out. I convinced her I couldn't do much anyways since I'm injured.
She said she was leaving two or three times while making out. This lasted around an hour. Quite the tease. But at the end she practically begged me to smash her. Despite me being injured it took little to see her squirm. My highlight was that after that, she started to suck my dick like it was the last bit of manhood in the world. Quite refreshing and new to me.
Couple of fucks later and she's out. I'm spent, but I know finally what Rollo means when he says there is a difference between validational sex and transactional sex. This is the first time I've seen a woman so thirsty for cock. Needless to say, ex performance or even hooker performance doesn't even compare.
Much of the intention of this post is thanking the community. Much of what I did that got me this small success is already written elsewhere, so I chose to not go into detail because of that.
I know now there is a world out there different from the sad marriage I was in. Today I know I can get more and better than I did during those 6 years.
Thank you.

8 months is a not a slow development at all. It took more than 2 years of mine and I'm still not there.
Some people has more things to fix I guess. But I'm relatively young at least..

In addition, it's important to know that, when comparing yourself to others, you often only see the tip of the spear. It's the years, sometimes decades, of effort behind the spear that matter.

Can confirm. I have been on this journey for 3 years now, but I still have a long way to go. So many years of conditioning to correct. Life is getting better tough, and I could not be more grateful for finding TRP - this is exactly what I was missing.

I remember walking into the gym about ten years ago, thinking I'll bang out a few pulls ups. I reached up and just hung there, until my fingers got tired.
Took ages before I could do one unassisted.
Now I do them as a warm up.

You're right. It's totally the same thing with dating. When you're used to being ugly, and then you get that first wide-eyed look.
Now I accept I'm attractive.
Life is sweet.

It took me 3 months to do one unassisted. That was only one, but your first "correct" pull up gives you an amazing feeling. I can totally relate to that.

Haha I just started being able to do actual pull ups. I've been working hard on fixing huge physical issues with my body for almost 2 years. I also have started to be able to do sit ups without a weight on my feet. Feels great.

Here in the US everything is a facade, you will get laid very easily by pretending you’re a playboy.... that’s what women want you to be.

do people really struggle with pull-ups? I have no biceps whatsoever. I can really only do curls with 25lb dumbbells(30 on a good day). But, I can crank out 30 pull-ups like it's nothing. I see people half my weight struggle with pull-ups.

It's more a matter of back musculature and of weight-to-strength ratio. This is why we encourage old school full body lifts - it takes work to make your muscles fire in a kinetically coherent way.

I think the same. I never had problems doing pull ups. I have been going to the gym for a year and I managed to do my first muscle up after 4 months.

Yes, it's hard for most mortals. And no kipping on my watch or I'm gonna break your legs.
DropDeadTyrant 5y ago
nah, i fold my legs and cross them at the back.

wheres the other place you got your info from. im curious

What I meant when I wrote 'elsewhere' was other posts in this community, not another community.
In general, all those big bits of info that make you hard to resist. The ones that I feel made it for me were, in no particular order: fitness, speaking with balls, touching her confidently and not letting my own lust overtake me, but communicate it through touch so it overtakes her instead.
