Yeah watching other people do things that you want to do is like getting non-sexually cuckolded, it's gotta be the biggest killer of masculinity to sit down and enjoy what other people are doing.

you just described pro sportsball. I used to be addicted to watching pro sports, but it is so much more fun to play sports instead of sitting on your ass watching more talented men play sports.

Me in a nutshell, only I was never attracted to watching sports in the first place.

[-] EdmondDantes777 6 Points 5 months ago

You are smart. When I was a kid and when I was out of shape I used to follow pro sportsball obsessively. Then a few years ago I decided to get fit and start dieting and I lost all interest and only find enjoyment in playing sports. The NBA playoffs and finals and Champions League used to by my favorite times of the week, now I don't even know which teams are good, and I don't care. My life has improved dramatically since I got off the pro sportsball bread and circus.

The worst thing is those 300+ pound lard tub men who wear their pro sportsball team jersey with another man's name on their back and spend their weekends watching "their" sports team tribe while drinking beer, stuffing their face with chips and wings and yelling at the TV about how a man 100x more talented and accomplished than them is "shit" at the game he plays and is paid millions of dollars to play every year. When their team tribe wins, or their favorite star player does something good, they take credit for that man's actions.

It is non-sexual cuckolding in every aspect of the word, and gives fat lard tub men an excuse to stay fat.

Sports is a telanovela for men

Did you know some of the porn sites have comments? I read a comment on another forum from someone saying they had a conversation with someone in the comments section of a porn video. Think about it for a second: two grown men conversing because they both want to fuck the same woman but can't so they watch some other guy fucking her.

Just imagine being a teenage kid and growing up with this. I predict a huge rise in the number of celibate young men. I predict the number of celibate women will remain the same, though (close to zero). The world is falling apart, but it's great time to be Chad.

I know I have personally struggled with porn so much, I highly recommend to any redpiller and any man to try NoFap, porn is a sickness that needs to be eliminated.

Probably because most of the “masculine” men (including both guys in the picture) from that era are dead from steroid and drug abuse

[-] Bard_In_Training 14 Points 5 months ago

It's like how all the cool fags died in the 80's from aids. All the cool men died long ago.

[-] AyameNoop 11 Points 5 months ago

The unchecked masculinity that was probably fueled by steroids and drugs had a lot of downsides, but nobody can deny that it really made for fun times and fun characters.

Now that I read the article, I finally understand why Seth Rollins saying how he's going to "burn it down" just feels closer to some pussy millenial threatening to write about you on his Facebook page over someone who makes you go "oh shit things are getting serious now!"

The biggest irony is Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey probably act like they have more testosterone in their veins than the majority of the male roster

The Chad Austin 3:16 vs the Virgin Daniel Bryan

[-] FrgElder 10 Points 5 months ago

Sitting on your fat ass, drinking beer, and watching guys on 10 different types of steroids that are greesed up and wearing skin tight underwear fake wrestle each other has to be about the most least masculine thing I could imagine.

[-] WaspOnAWall 6 Points 5 months ago

I honestly never understood wrestling, almost never watched any, and when I did, it seemed absurd. I can understand and even enjoy boxing, even though that's not an interest of mine, but wrestling? It's all asinine pretend-fights.

It was cool when you were 9 years old

[-] yttanx 2 Points 5 months ago

If you were a kid/teens growing up in the 80's-90's you would. If that is not you then no you'd never understand wrestling.

[-] WaspOnAWall 2 Points 5 months ago

I was born in 1986, but in a different country where we had none of that.

[-] SpecialistParticular 1 Point 5 months ago

When I was a kid Shawn Michaels was karate kicking Tatanka and Vince McMahon was the ringside commentator.

[-] yttanx 2 Points 5 months ago

Same, I remember Doink the Clown and Bam Bam. Early Razor Ramon still a fave.

Professional wrestling is nothing more than a form of theatre so why should this surprise anyone?

[-] Vikingcel 2 Points 5 months ago

Rick Del WWEstar von Hagen will save wrestling

[-] bouncedeck 2 Points 5 months ago

People still take WWE seriously? I mean as theater fine. But as anything else...

[-] MentalAnon 1 Point 5 months ago

I think it's part of a bigger trend. People are so fucking afraid of being genuine these days. It's like some collective social insecurity has seeped into society where you can't ever try to do something real, or you might get made fun of. There's no real attempts at telling epics, or romantic stories or even anything. Everything is tongue in cheek and ironic. I was never huge on wrestling, but it seems it's fallen to it too. Sad to see.
