Sometimes I do not have much work to do but I have to stay in the office. I tried spending time chatting with coworkers but I did not like it and I think the relationships between coworkers is sneaky and useless (too much shit tests etc.).
Do you have any suggestions on how to use that time effectively? I m thinking listening to podcasts maybe?

Any good starting guide?

I'm not the expert on side hustles, it depends on what you want to do

Set aside a fraction of your income you're comfortable and start funneling it into an investment account. Pick out a few companies that you're reasonably certain will do well and invest in them. Use your free time at the office to investigate the prospects of your stocks, maybe scout out new ones. Generating a passive income stream and learning what makes an enterprise succeed or fail is a good place to start as far as side hustles go.

Write a blog.

Just do SOMETHING worthwhile.

There's plenty of job hustles you can do online. If it's slow at your job and you're sitting in front of a computer, you can easily spend a few hours a day learning some skill and then applying it.
Me personally I work as an in-house graphic designer. I get paid for my hours but when I'm all caught up, I look for other freelance work.
You can also do audio books.
Check out Upwork or Fiverr and see what services are in demand.

I'm in the same field as you, graphic designer, can you suggest me some tips for finding a job? I'm sending cv to agency but for now nobody responds.

Biggest help for me was knowing people.
Networking can make the difference between you competing with dozens of other people who are probably better than you for a low paying entry level position OR getting a VIP red carpet treatment for a good well paying position.
My first 2 graphic design positions were through networking. Both were obtained by randomly having small talk with dudes at the gym. Eventually they came up to me and said, "Hey, you're a graphic designer right? My company is hiring one. Send me your resume and I'll get you an interview."
My current position I did it on my own. I moved to a new state so I didn't know anyone. I got hired through Indeed and the same principles apply as any other field. Have an impressive unique portfolio on Behance (your own website is best), have a professional looking quality resume, and just apply to every single position you can find.

I am currently learning Malay in my downtime while my main hustle involves speaking Japanese (I am not Japanese nor are my parents). There is always something productive to do and a new goal to set. Most people choose to take their dick in their hand or do stupid shit on antisocial media. Don't be one of those. Took me 2 years to become fluent doing this on the side by the way, my 5th language. :-)

Either find something you can do that is profitable or read books to better yourself. You're at work so the last thing you want to do is waste time on Facebook or even listening mindlessly to podcasts without actually taking notes or understanding what is being said. Informational videos and podcasts can be sneaky because you tell yourself you are learning when in reality it goes in one ear and out the other.
Also from a more DT perspective relationships with co-workers can be valuable. Yes you will get shit tested but also if Bill tells you some dumb shit that could be used against him in the future when you're both up for promotion, that information is extremely valuable. You want a good network within your co-workers. Be everyone's friend and don't ever talk bad about someone unless it is precisely calculated.

At my old job at least 50% of it was downtime. I fucking hated it. It's so boring. Bring a book, ebook, anything to be productive.
