I know the situation all too well as well. I went through just about the same thing, except it was my 'father' who was codependent on my 'stepmother'. She would threaten and beat us relentlessly and he would never do anything about it, only ever called us liars and beat us himself.

I'm guessing not, which means you need to get that practice in. Plenty of resources out there, but start by talking to everyone you meet in your day to day. Learning how to cold approach and handling those kinds of rejections will make drunk approaches...

In what way do you think signing a contract is going to help you?
What you need to do is prove positive consent after the fact. i.e. send her a text the next day saying you had a great time and you want to see her again real soon. A positive response to a text like this could prove no attack happen...
