The other day, I was at the clinic for a blood test. The nurse was a middle aged woman who said - sweetheart, don't worry. I was a nurse since before you were born. I can hit that vein from across the room.
This community was created as a harbor for RP minded women whose goal is to build a lasting and happy relationship with a great man.

Women are not told to be passive. You're not robots at the man's command. A second-in-command is not a passive automaton, awaiting the captain's orders. They've frightfully busy making sure the ship functions smoothly. But what they also are is a buffer for the Captain so that he can make the hard decisions that actually direct and lead the boat to win or lose, instead of being swamped in the minutiae of day-to-day boat operations.
That's not passive. Not ambushing your husband when he comes home, and feeding him a good meal and rubbing his shoulders isn't being passive, it's relaxing him and making him receptive to engagement. It's making him happy to be around you, and opening him up to appreciating you and listening to what you have to say. There's nothing passive about that.
If you're closed off, he will take that as you don't want him, and go do his own thing. Which becomes a self-reinforcing prophesy.
If you flood him when he's not receptive to it, he will be the one who closes off, just to get some peace and quiet and alone-time.

People often assume men to be more active and women more passive. I didn't say that women are told this as a message.
Correct. My point/suggestion, was how to be active in creating a welcoming space that will draw him in

I could quibble over phrasing, but I think we're more or less in agreement. (I think that's my feeling about most of your posts, btw. Like them, mostly agree, sometimes challenge the phrasing.)

Why is OP banned

I'm locking this thread. Like the responder said OP deleted her own occount. We suspect it was because it was another user, but we cannot prove it, so I would like to prevent further speculation down that rabbit hole.

"she" deleted "her" account because she was identified as a man who's been banned from here before
