With the recent quarantine of /r/TheRedPill, many have approached us to find out what they could do to help TRP, as well as ensure that RPW doesn't get removed for our affiliation.
For this purpose TRP has put together a protest with the goal of undoing past, and protecting from future censorship of Reddit. They are asking for a join in solidarity for 1 hr at 4:00pm PDT on Nov 1st, 2018 by boycotting Reddit.

I encourage anyone who wishes to help preserve Reddit as a platform for diversity of ideas to sign the petition and join the boycott as well as share it with others.

It would seem a real solution is to set up shop elsewhere.

We do have an alternate location, TRP.Red. https://www.forums.red/i/RedPillWomen/
But we're still fighting for a platform on Reddit, the advantage of which is more visibility for people who need us.

That doesn’t work since the people are here and you can’t grow if you aren’t where the people are.
Tech companies have a monopoly on thought because of this now.

Access is easy, time is not infinite and neither is attention.
Users no longer step outside their portal

I got started as well through IM. His posts are the best, in my opinion.

Husband and I are in. We'll be signing out of reddit on all the devices. Yes there is a back up and yes Reddit is a private company. Social media is too integral to the way we communicate and share ideas to be ok with "it's a private company and can do what it wants". And while I will certainly move to the new site if RPW goes down, I can't say I would have ever found RPW in the first place if it wasn't on Reddit.
Losing subreddits to censorship is bad. Free flow of ideas and information is important even if we don't agree with the ideas we should stand up for the right to think freely and share openly.

Do we have to sign out? I was just going to not go to the website.
Ultimately, private companies can do what they want, but we as consumers can tell them when they do something we don't like and go someplace else if they don't listen.

I honestly don't know how they measure traffic which is why I'm signing out of everything.

Happy to join in. I probably have better things I should be doing anyway. :-)
