Self improvement can be simple!
Step 1: Make new self-improvement goals for this month.
Step 2: Do your best to achieve your goals.
Step 3: Next month report back on your progress as well as make new goals for the proceeding month.
Step 4: Become a more awesome person!
Factors for success for creating good goals:
-
Quantify your goals ("I want to lose 5lbs or 2% body fat" is a better goal than "I want to lose weight".)
-
Make goals that are realistic. Don't try to lose 50lbs in one month.
-
Make goals that are sufficiently challenging, push yourself.
- Create a specific plan for reaching your goals.
Your goals can have to do with anything that you want to work on.
Good luck!

My goals for February:
Continue with weight loss, last month I lost 1 kilo but it was much more noticeable on my body than I was expecting so I want to continue with it.
Feel healthy again, last week I was feeling a bit sick and I was hardly sleeping and although I doing better now I am defenetly not feeling my best.
Find something to do with my time, I am out of university and currently unemployed, I want to find a job that I know I will like and feel confortable in it and that will probably take some time as there are not that many job offers right now, so I need something else to do, I want to take some classes to improve on some skills.

February goals:
1) Lose about 4-5 pounds. (Weigh approximately 115 lb.)
2) Attend all my classes and turn in all homework.
3) Spend less than $200.
4) Be more responsible.
Some longer-term goals I want to complete in the coming months: lose 2-3 pounds in February and another 2-3 in March, receive A's and B's on my exams and as my final grades, and be more responsible with time and money.
MID-FEBRUARY UPDATE: (1) I am still at 120 lb. I have only eaten a burger once. I have been meal prepping, which saves me money as well. I have been using MyFitnessPal to track my meals. (2) I have only missed one class and I have turned in all assignments. (3) I have not been tracking my expenses out of guilt. I need to do worker harder on this. However, I have not purchased a single item of clothing. (4) This goal was more ambiguous, but I have been falling off the work wagon less. I am happy with my progress, but there is still much to do.

Myself: My goal for this month is to try and lose at least 5 lbs, and do it by tracking my calories.
Home: I need to do a deep clean of my whole house, baseboards and all (yuck!)
Relationship: To work on being more passive and agreeable with my husband. I've been selfish lately in wanting him to spend time with me when he's off work, even though I know he's tired.

February goals:
1) No more than 2 drinks at a time! It is okay to drink, but I do not want any drunk nights or hangovers this month
2) Lose 5 pounds. Should be easy if I am not binge drinking... my main weight culprit.
3) Sort out student loan repayment plan. Make sure I am on the right track.
4) Improve my makeup/grooming routine! Would love to have someone at Ulta or Sephora show me what to do.

February Goals
Unfortunately I found myslef unwell in December and January so my goals have shifted.
1) reclaim my health and improve my immune system. My plan is to destress, take more vitamins, and eat probiotic foods. I had a cold and then I was diagnosed with shingles. I have spent much of the last two months injured or sick.
2) begin exercising again my going to four fitness classes per week. I was unable to exercise due to my conditions.

January goals reached
-did less frivolous spending. Didn't buy anything I didn't need.
-read at least one chapter of a book a day, alternating fiction and nonfiction .
-spent more time outside, which means more time spent with my dogs.
-tried one new recipe a week, i even snuck some vegetarian meals into our rotation and they were a hit!
-practiced french everyday using Duolingo (I'm on a 65 day streak!)
February goals
-cut our grocery budget, more focus on plant based meals rather than meat.
-organize and clean out all closets and storage spaces.
-move more, eat less. I want to get out for a walk with my dogs 5x a week and cut out 200 cal a day.
-continue reading a chapter of a book a day.
-continue french practice.
-sell unused items for extra cash.
