Father's day and Mother's day alike are very difficult days for me.

My mother is a sociopath (clinical) and my father went out to buy cigarettes 20 years ago and I guess it's a really long line. :D

This is just context for the post I want to make.

Happy father's day men, in this social climate I just want to say how much I admire men who wear the mantle of being the head of a household, I may have not had a dad but every time I see fathers out with their children I have such a swell of happiness inside.

Fathers deserve recognition for all the work that they do for their families and if you have made any, know that your sacrifices are acknowledged and your legacy will live on in your children. And the world would be a sad place without fathers. Thank you guys.

And for you fathers without your family, my heart breaks with you, know that it can always get better and the dawn always comes after the storm, I don't know if this will mean anything to you but I hope this will help you see that there are people who care for your struggle and hope that it will be better for you.

Sincerely,

An orphan Snail.
