Ok, so 60 DoD became about 75 DoD this year. The schedule got fucked up and I've not been around here much. Nevertheless, we had some solid contributions this year:
Week 1: I got you to do some mental reps about lifting.
Week 2: We lit the fire under the kettle you're in with your eating.
Week 3: /u/RStonePT taught you about washing your ass.
Week 4: /u/SBIII is prettier than you.
Week 5: /u/BarracudaRP gamed you hard.
Week 6: /u/weakandsenstitive helped you get perspective on how you can build and manage your wealth.
Week 7: /u/johneyapocalypse rocked your shit on Career.
Week 8: /u/Red-Curious drew you out of your shell with a treatise on social life.
Thank you to all our contributors this year.
For all of you who participated: how did you do? Have you gotten results by changing habits? More work to do? Tell us below. I'll be asking some mods to help me decide some DoD flair. Now, go off and enjoy summer looting and virus season!

Weeks 3, 4, and 8 had the biggest impact on my behavior. Weeks 1, 2, 6, and 7 were all good shit but I feel like I was already pretty tight on those parts of my life.
I'm dressing way better, taking care of my skin and hair, and it's showing.
Red's social guide combined with Blarg's conversational guide is already paying off.
The only week that I don't feel is well in hand is week 5 game, but I'm getting laid all the time anyway so I'm doing something right there. Might be worth considering some light catch and release to sharpen those skills on people who haven't made a long-term decision to fuck me.
All considered, I'm not a different man than I was 75 days ago, but I'm a noticeably sharper version of myself. I love the topic breakdowns, I think they add a lot of dimension to the content here.

Shit I did:
BP me would have done none of that and complained like a bitch the whole time. Life is good.

I'd like to add to your list of accomplishments

First, it's really supposed to be 60. 75 is a bit of joke because we went long this year.
Next, I run it annually, but there are tons of prior year posts on the sidebar, so you can jump on and do your own whenever you like. You might even advertise it on askMRP and maybe some other guys will want to do it with you. Otherwise, I'll run it again next spring... it serves to prep you for summer, as we always try to end at Memorial Day, the official, unofficial start of summer.

During the last 75 days:
The biggest habit I changed is that instead of trying to fix symptoms, I now look for ways to improve, automate, or delegate systems, in both my career and personal life. I look for ways to free up my time to do more of what only I can.
All in All, a massive success. Not without its hiccups and glaring imperfections, but movement in the right direction nonetheless. I look forward to maintaining and building on these gains.

You know, it's almost comical. Much of the population is going to end quarantine fatter, more depressed, and more isolated than they started. It's perfect for anyone seeking a minor excuse to stay home and watch TV.
Instead, you met more people than ever, learned profound things, upped your game and lost 25 pounds. Fuck yes my man.
Hey u/sorcererking, here's your first candidate for dreadful flair.

You mean you murdered Grandma?
Tut, tut.

I didn't exactly set out to run up the dread ladder during quarantine, but here we are.
I bought a shotgun. I hit a 200lb push press PR. I got some custom tailored shirts made. I paid off a bunch of debt. I renovated our kitchen. I fucked the shit out of my wife.
The greatest impact on the family dynamic was inviting the in-laws to stay with us. I faced the anxiety I had of those interactions falling apart and I was hell bent on keeping everyone on track with the mission. They've moved back to their apartment and everyone is coming away better from the experience.
The biggest lesson learned was around my social life. I've connected with friends and a few other redpill guys during the quarantine and strengthened my social circle.
A quick example.
The guy that owns our CrossFit Gym is good people. He and I have been friendly for a while before quarantine, and my wife has invited his wife and son over for a few playdates with our daughter and we've gotten to know their family a bit over the past year. I kept our membership active during quarantine mainly to support his business so that we'd have something to come back to when the gyms opened up again. I also told him to let me know if there was anything else we could do to help him or his family. We started talking more often, and he opened up to me around the struggles he's had with his business through the shutdown.
An 80-foot Oak tree fell and crushed my truck this past week. When my wife mentioned what happened, he simply said "I'll be over with the chainsaw in an hour." I didn't even have to ask for help, he just showed up and we got the tree cleared in no time.
Some things are made easier by sharing the burden.
The "get shit done" attitude creates positive feedback loops with other men. Positive feedback loops are critical to having healthy relationships in your life, and having a healthy network of personal relationships is a key to living a successful life.
I've made progress on working on my own abandonment issues and I understand now that the resentment and cynicism I've had for a long time is keeping me from getting what I want out of my relationships. Each of these connections with other men contributes to me accomplishing my mission, and I don't take them for granted. As u/Red-Curious said, "You can't learn how to be a man without being around other men."
I do want to call bullshit on one thing in particular from his post: "Dread is literally impossible if you never leave your house." Clearly this man has never invited Instagram thots to lift weights in his garage.

SBII seems like a pretty cool guy. Apparently he's an Eagles fan an into military history. SBIII even more legit. Jesus, now I'm going to go see what a badass SBIV is!
SorcererKing 6y ago
Fuck me. Sorry man, fixed it.
