To give the background for the experiment, I've never been much into online dating because when I started practicing game, the only material was largely centered on clubs. I've been using day-game quite a lot over the past few years because I travel a lot for my day job and often end up spending 5 days to two weeks in a location. However, lately I've found it a challenge to do day game due to spending less time in a city, having fewer repeat visits and having to compress the process into a much shorter time period.

I noticed that Anthony (@beachmuscles) was having a lot of success using various online platforms including Tinder, and concluded that this could be a very useful avenue for me as well and I don't like leaving pussy on the table. I've also noticed a trend where people tend to go out more in groups, or on already planned dates, as opposed to going out just to meet people, so it seems that the internet has lead to distribution and logistics innovations in the sexual market place as well.

The first issue I ran into when I downloaded Tinder was to find good pictures of myself, I've had photography as a hobby for years but I've never spent much time in front of a camera, and I don't really have a lot of pictures of myself suitable for a dating profile. I also know that people tend to be very poor judges of their own pictures, so I figured that I had to find a way to get 3 - 5 good pictures of myself.

This was what caused me to conduct this experiment because in absence of other pictures, I used my professional headshots for my Tinder profile along with filling out the default spaces in the profile including my alma matter and my job title, then overwhelmingly got responses from women ages 30 - 35 with professional jobs and University degrees. This is hardly my ideal demographic, so being that I know a thing or two about red pill theory I formulated an experiment. It was only intended to give me insight into online dating in general, and Tinder in particular, but when I mentioned it on The Red Man Group many men requested a write up, so here we go.

Most of my game is in tinder and I farly often get laid off it. I'm 26 in a college town so that might be a good part of it.

I just took the red pill recently because I was feeling dispair of finding girls but none of them would be "wife material" . To the point of going on the monk route.

To use the same wording as feminism, it's empowering to know such woman just don't exist and you shouldn't even try to find her.

This experiment is well setup, but as the author states, the sample size is ridiculously low and we shouldn't draw any conclusions at all. Any chance we can run it for longer?

The difference between the "Alpha" profile and the "Beta" profile in terms of matches was negligible. Second, we have no idea what the guy looks like (unless the pictures are posted and I missed it). We really have no idea how Alpha or Beta this guy looked even with the trappings.

The age difference certainly does prove what we've known before. That could be an effect of younger people being attracted to someone who appears younger and matches their interests and not necessarily confirming AfBb theory.

Would be interesting if we had a bunch of people on the sub do a similar type of experiment so we could aggregate results with the photos.

Its easy to set up a date if a girl likes the pictures and profile.

Some friends spend hours talking on the app. Yea, you can try negotiating into a date but there's plenty who don't need special treatment to give you the time of day.

Tinder is a women’s app now. If you are a decent looking female, you are getting bombarded with Likes from Men who could be well outside your desired radius.

One of my hot friends wanted to see how many people like her so I gave her my Tinder Gold for the day. She had her account for maybe an hour and already had 500+ likes from guys up to 100km away, hell even in the United States.

Depending on the local demographic (middle of no where vs college town vs big city), I noticed a large difference in how the Tinder game is played. College town is easy mode, big city is too serious and middle of no where is like Christian mingle.

validation only. No one hooks up there anymore. That's really interesting. Back when it started my sales funnel in a 1-3month period (depending on how much time I spent on Tinder while shitting) was something like: 1000 swipes > 100 matches > 20 dates > 5-10 fucks -> 1-2 plates/FWBs

Right now its something like: 1000 swipes > 60 matches > 0-5 dates > 0-1 fucks -> 0-1 plates/FWBs

And I've lost 10kgs (now I'm 184cm/90kg), dress better, have a bit more money, look better, and, generally have a higher SMV (photofeeler puts me in the 80th percentile, while back then I was somewhere in the 65-70th percentile).

So now I use it only to have abundance mentality and almost never write to matches.

I've done probably +5000 swipes to get 600 matches > 2 dates and 2 fucks > still plating the two. It's all about pre-selection, you should "know" before the date that you are going to f--k them and the date proceeds on that trajectory. Kiss of cheek with hug immediately, then make-out within 15 minutes-20 minutes. If she touches you at any point within the first 15 minutes and esp. during making out, you touch her back on her ass or leg or you grab the side of her neck while kissing. You maintain eye contact with "I am going to fuck you tonight" look.. tell that chick to buy you a drink, if she immediately and willfully complies, you say when I am done with this drink, let's get out of here OR you just finish it and grab her hand and be like lets go...all of these she should willingly and eagerly comply...

I agree with @atticusfinch1973. I haven't been on in a while but if I ever wanted to could easily. I wouldn't consider myself a model or top 5% type. I'm not jacked. Dgaf about my profile photos, hell I even make them funny. It's what you make it, taking it too seriously is where you all fail. My people used to call me the tinder king, matches on matches on matches, they'd say I'd swipe right on every hoe lol. If you're not having fun then what is it all for right?

on tinder? face to face yea I'm perfectly aware confidence game and all that basic stuff comes into play. my point is - if u aint tall and aint that good lookin (atleast an 8 on the face) then I think tinder will straight up be about luck and every match will have to count. I do wish there was more info out there for how it is in the city cause like girls decide probably more on lifestyle thru photos than just looks cause it gets boring after a while just swipin on hot guys. I know in suburbs its all status and looks for sure.
