From what I understand, the reason it’s spelled l-e-d-e rather than l-e-a-d is that the old printing presses used strips of lead as spacers between letters, and those were called “leads.” Since both terms...

My point is semantic rather than technical. She has his commitment (for now) in the sense that they are (currently) married. What she does *not* have (and never will) is his *unreserved* commitment. That loss in turn jeopardizes the marital commitment.
If Fiona started doing live shows in Tijuan...
