To clarify on the ex situation: she and her husband had apparently not been together properly for a while and were already living separately – though technically still married.

I also have problems with that, but I found out it is more about the person itself and how you like are overall. I had a quite good girl once that was actually completely awkward and super-introverted, I felt like raping her in the end, so my dick would never lift again on that girl.

"Women tend to treat men well when they see them as their best option" is a pretty good point, I always had the experience with women that are hot and know it. They treat you like shit as there are 10 other guys orbiting that would immediately go out with her.
