@kvakerok Also he never really makes any point. He just starts all the time new ones while being in the previous one.
@Ketogainsmongoose oh, I completely agree with that, but it was deadlier than usual due to being a cross-species mutation, as all cross-species mutations usually are, pig flu, avian flu, monkey AIDS, etc.

These Soviet raised fuckers can be so godamn stubborn.
Offer him a bottle of good booze on the condition he does it properly. Nothing motivates a Soviet expat more than a bottle of good booze.
@Ketogainsmongoose No, that's not how it works. Sink or swim scenario for covid was when it was too deadly for our tastes and we started whipping up vaccines in a hurry to kill it off for good. Delta variant is more virulent and less deadly, which is essentially covid's (and any other viruses') successful survival strategy: to become more and more virulent and less and less deadly until we stop caring enough about it to just let it spread in peace. At some point we will start treating it like another flu or some other common disease. Mathematically, it's not a success for a virus when it kills the host - it not only slows down spread but also means less people are infected. Obviously some people will still die, but people still die yearly from common flu, the question is always how many.
