@chadinthemaking69 It's a matter of internalizing your successes and identifying with that feeling independent of location or context. Of course, social acumen still applies so you don't act like an overconfident know it all in the wrong places, but that doesn't automatically reverting to feeling beta and less-than.

@chadinthemaking69 Assume no unless IOIs turn super-blatant, then for your job's sake, still assume no.
How long has she been a manager? Maybe she's still in her trial and error stage of that position, trying to get an effective but non-abrasive leadership voice dialed in; not just with you but her department in general. I haven't employed younger workers in decades now, but from what I've heard, the current crop of 0-5 years in the workforce generation doesn't take basic employer authority worth a damn.

@chadinthemaking69 Sales pitch thing 100%. Hiring outgoing cute young girls to act flirty and promote a business has gone on forever. I encountered it when I was young and naive in the 80s. Between the first unusually enthusiastic greeting and the pitch, NGL I thought it was my lucky day. But even back then, I found the pitch a huge turn-off and it broke the spell immediately.
It's obvious she approached ypu for the sale. Girls do that, flirt for profit. This doesn't mean it couldn't lead elsewhere if she was open.

I think… a girl approached me? I just got back from my local Walmart, honestly dressed like shit which is why I’m confused, and I notice two girls walking towards me and they both stop and hide behind some blue bins. As I pass them the blonde says “excuse me, where do you workout?”
I turn around and tell her where I workout and she goes on a sales rant about this new gym and I didn’t hear anything she said because I got lost in her eyes but towards the end I eventually snapped out of it and told her I wasn’t interested in signing up because I already have a place to workout.
She says “it’s just your name and number” and I told her again that I wasn’t interested. Then as I’m walking away she said “my names Katie by the way!” I was far away by this point but said nice to meet you.
Was this an approach or just a sales pitch thing

@chadinthemaking69 ...and that she is Damseling. Though socially retarded, the questioning wasn't even implicitly sexualized much less stalk-y. If I was her friend or parent I'd advise her not to keep playing with her hair and further develop her poker face if she wants to quash unwanted flirty vibes coming her way. Not engaging or reflecting non-business conversation is a basic retail survival skill no matter what one's gender. You get absolutely all kinds, all day every day, including some real nutters and aggressive in a flash mofos.
