@SeasonedRP You should be at least double that

@Rian_stone @seasonedRP I'm gonna go find a doctor asap and find an endocrinologist. Aside from switching up my diet immediately and changing my workout regimine

SeasonedRP 5 days ago

@Noblefiz That is quite low for your age. You probably feel like an elderly man in some ways. It used to be unheard of for young people to have T that low. Unfortunately, now it is quite common. T levels in men of all ages are markedly lower than they were in men in prior generations.

@redpillschool I have noticed that too, especially when the man says that about his wife.

@SeasonedRP we always gotta do our due dilligence, as even a ripped guy can give shit advice.

A lot of advice on the Internet looks written by teens and for teens, even some in our very own trp.

Luckily, there's a culture here of calling things out quickly and seeing through a lot of nonsense.

@perrolo Some of the lifting advice given is pretty bad. I try to weigh in if the person is past the beginner level. One of the ECs had a very good post about an old-school bodybuilding routine to get through plateaus and was roundly trashed by morons. Funny, high-level powerlifters and bodybuilders do things like it all the time.

@jwayne Exactly. Why trade your commitment to someone who sees exes?

SeasonedRP 3 weeks ago

@jwayne Many older lifters like low dose deca for joints.

jwayne 3 weeks ago

@SeasonedRP primo and deca were my other two considerations. definitely try them next time

SeasonedRP 3 weeks ago

@jwayne I have heard some get anxiety and related issues with it. Perhaps the early effect on sleep is through a similar pathway. Primo or mast are options to add to TRT that should make you feel good.

No-Fap and Feminist talks about men's sexuality is actually gaslighting

I'm older. No fap is very odd to me. I guess it's fine for younger men with ED issues from spending all their time watching porn. But to me, it seems a lot like tradcons or feminists in terms of shaming men for sexual urges. I don't equate RP with asceticism at all, but evidently many do. If RP is ammoral, then one should be able to pursue whatever aims one wants, not be bound to live some...[More]

How To Exude Sexual Magnetism

What the OP is talking about is hard to describe, but if you do it correctly, you'll know it. I was in a meeting yesterday with a woman probably 25 years younger than me. I was sitting relaxed facing her and giving her an amused, confident expression. She was looking at me while speaking about a subject. She meant to say "docs" but said "dicks" and got an absolutely...[More]

Just ignore her for a while

This is an excellent point of clarification. I did this a week ago to two plates. I had to intensely focus on work for about a week and didn't want to be bothered with them and lose focus. Just prior to that, I drank irresponsibly, which isn't normal for me. I didn't contact them during that period either. So for about 10 days, for good reasons and bad reasons, I didn't contact them. They...[More]

Are you an insecure loser who ego lifts at the gym? Kill it with the Vince Gironda 8x8

The aim of something like 8x8 or numerous other high intensity techniques is to break through plateaus. Few bodybuilders use them exclusively (Mike Mentzer comes to mind as an exception). They instead use them when progress has stalled or a particular bodypart is lagging, and typically for a short period of time. In the off season, some high level powerlifters would incorporate these kinds of...[More]

Are you an insecure loser who ego lifts at the gym? Kill it with the Vince Gironda 8x8

If you haven't already, you might enjoy Frank Zane's bodybuilding manual and other writings. He focused hard on rep quality and writes about getting in the right zone before beginning a set. I'm doing similar training myself. My background is in powerlifting, with my first meet at age 16 and last one in my forties. I still do some reasonably heavy training, but now enjoy a more bodybuilding...[More]

Are you an insecure loser who ego lifts at the gym? Kill it with the Vince Gironda 8x8

You'll often see ego lifters tying up the power rack, loading the bar up for shrugs or rack pulls. Real lifters laugh at them, and they don't last long in real gyms. Whether doing 8x8 or something else, a good practice is to focus intensely and exclusively on the contraction of the muscle during each repetition, getting plenty of time under tension for each exercise. Someone also interested in...[More]
