@Elvis_Fawksley Fair enough bro, thanks for the response. Yeah like I said I don't do long distance relationships. It depends what metric you use but if people ask, I say I'm single. I would date other women but I don't meet many conservative girls so there's no point.
I'm not a pussy lol.
Yeah she wanted them to get high paying jobs but I've convinced her now that they'd probably be much happier just doing care work or health and beauty kind of work, until they marry someone that can support them.
I know that's a truth of life but good to be reminded that it will likely get easier if we get in a relationship once we're closer together and I'm working. Honestly she left her ex who is much older than me and earns a decent living, plus friend zoned an anaesthesiologist who was on VERY good pay to try to be with me. Alpha seed.
I'm in the UK so I'm looking at 60k a year as a good pay, as the percentage of 60k GBP earners is roughly the same as 100k USD earners.
Read MoreHey guys. I have a girl that I plan to start a relationship with at some point but we live far apart. The issue is she's sometimes stubborn but I'll explain the situation first.
We've been seeing each other for about 18 months, 12 of which she was just a plate. She comes to see me every few months and is pretty much what most guys with a brain in their skull would want. She has a low lay count (one guy whom she only had sex with twice), conservative, very anti-LGBT, anti-feminism, she's from a post communist country so very anti-commie, likes gendered sex roles, wants nothing more than to be a stay at home mum etc etc etc. Thinks I'm a superhero and constantly talks about how perfect I am.
I haven't made it official but it basically is, as another girl falsely called the police on me whilst girl in question was a plate, and if it happened again it could ruin my career so I've stayed away from sex with anyone else. Still get girls numbers but don't see much reason to act on it if they sound feminist and I don't want sex.
Now, she's quite stubborn when it comes to conversations. I just move on when it is insignificant. However she will sometimes talk about our future for example she said today "I want my daughters to go to university". I obviously said that's not gonna happen. But she won't let up on it and gets really disagreeable. The rest of the time she will do everything I say. I can usually get through to her on these issues, but it takes a few days and many hours of discussing it for her to finally yield and agree with me. Eventually she always agrees but it just takes a while.
Any ideas on how to cut this process down? We're both students so maybe it will stop when I earn more money and she's in my frame more, but honestly she's already very strongly in my frame as discussed. I just want her to actually listen to start off with and not have to spend loads of timer and energy convincing her.
I can easily muscle my way through and just tell her what is going to happen, as she will do what I say. But I feel this will just create obligated compliance rather than actually listening to me.
It's not a major issue honestly, but it will mean the relationship will be much more work than if I can find a way just to get her to listen from the start. Any comments or similar stories would be appreciated.
Read More@slutmagazine then why did you respond to my comment about religion asking about where feminism came from? Honestly I don’t get what your saying, could you expand.
@slutmagazine not from Christianity?
Timothy 2:11-15 Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. Ephesians 5:24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. Corinthians 14:34-35 The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home.
There are many more similar lines but I don’t expect you come to this space to hear the bible. Basically the order of submission for every religion is God<(Jesus)<man<wife<children.
@slutmagazine yeah obviously it’s situational. There are also many times where a woman is suspected of cheating but there is no proof for it. Hence the development of the hijab/ niqab/ burka etc.
@Banned_On_Facebook yeah screw that. It sounds like you’re trying to make a positive difference though man I appreciate that.
@adam-l I’m not idealising. But I think it’s okay to point at something that worked and to have a conversation about where it went right, where it went wrong, how or if we could do it again etc.
@JamesSkepp Thanks for the TLDR version lol I know about Muslim culture. Part of my family is Muslim and I have Muslim friends from the Middle East. My understanding is that although it is allowed to have many wives, that is very rare as most men will have a wife and Mohammed allowed multiple wives after wartime as women would lose husbands or potential husbands. Consequences to cheating are typically death in traditional parts. Other than the clear barbarism this bears much better results than the west. Saying that, I’m sorry but I’m unsure if you were supporting me or making a point against me.
I don’t know who you are saying built the system or who understood sexual strategies, perhaps you could expand on this. Their system worked very well in that very few women cheated/ divorced, incels barely existed because there was a woman for every man and the genders generally were complimentary rather than the hostility we see today. Those are just my metrics but I think a portion of RP guys would agree. The only issue here I can see is feminism which messed up the relationship between the genders.
