@MentORPHEUS exactly. I agree.

Thats why when the Beareaucrats proudly state "Our Health expactancy went up xx years", it makes me wonder how healthy are those who live long. Does Life expectancy really count when people spend the last 20 years of life drooling and having someone wipe it off their chin?

Also, thats the issue with wage cucks - they base their value on making more money for someone else - a rather empty existence - rather than having adventures and living a life full of vigoir and zest!

@Chaddeus_Rex A lot of declining health is based on poor choices. Men who base too much of their life on their work end up dead within six months to two years of retirement. I've seen a lot of fairly healthy older people get one of those Jazzy scooters and by a year later can't go anywhere without it. Quality of life > quantity.

@GayLubeOil I think you've stumbled upon proof that the chute didn't drop Veruca Salt into the incinerator, but the Oompa Loompa men's dormitory.

@MentORPHEUS I know you dislike Mustache Man. But for a young man who is socially inept, possibly even mildly autistic, it spells out basic building blocks of Will To Power and Overcoming. If a person isn't a natural and hasn't mastered these, trying to jump straight into bourgeois Capitalist propaganda will make him just fuck himself deeper and live a life of wage cage.

@TheStoicCrane I agree about Carnegie, though I know GLO dislikes that book. For a young man who is socially inept, possibly even mildly autistic, it spells out basic building blocks of successful social interactions. If a person isn't a natural and hasn't mastered these, trying to jump straight into advanced philosophy will probably make him just fuck himself deeper where it concerns human interaction.

@Rian_stone "thinking yourself a smart guy will bite you in the ass. I know, it bit me in the ass at your age"

Second this, having been that back then too. It's kind of a male equivalent of a woman believing, "Men ought to be attracted to my career and headstrong personality!"

@MentORPHEUS My Grandfather told me from 3k-5k miles so I just took his word this time. Put out over $1500 for a new power control module in August so I wasn't too eager to rush to spend more or it.

It was at about 3,600mi since the last change until the clacking and screeching gave the impression that it was the engine. As dangerous as the studs shearing off was I was relieved that it wasn't the engine & that it wasn't on the verge of exploding!

Even in regular summer, a long stretch of black asphalt on a highway plus unseasonably warm temps can be a problem.

My brother had a crown vic that was an otherwise great car but the big fat V8 plus his love of driving with the AC on and his driver window partially down (why??!!!!) would freeze his lines and put the compressor in overdrive.

I'll give him a break since he was a teenager at the time but I shut off the thing for 10mins and whacked his hand away when he kept insisting on putting it back on every 2min. Once I stopped seeing heavy drip in the rear view I ran it on vent only until it felt strong again, then switched the compressor back on at 78° till it stabilized. Like magic.... Problem solved.

Speaking of women fucking up otherwise healthy cars, I know several cases where a man ignored this type of sign at the demand of his woman passenger, with a result of a permanent knocking noise because he scuffed his pistons.

Another broke a $40 hose right when beginning the grade out of the Mojave desert in August and began to pull over. His wife said, "DON'T pull over here! It's TOO HOT!" The car didn't make it to the next exit, the engine was destroyed first and that hose turned into a $5000 engine job they couldn't afford. He now travels by bicycle for the indefinite future.
